⬆️ and 🪄 for the ask game 💕
⬆️ rider whom i'm looking forward to seeing develop?
we're obviously in an age of incredible young riders, from cian and isaac to "older" riders like remco, but beyond them there's so much exciting talent to watch this year, but i will most certainly be on the lookout for Jack Rootkin-Gray!
he won Perfs last year (Perfs Pedal Race, that early season landmark of the british domestic calendar) with cornwall-based conti team Saint Piran (ride in all black jerseys, you may have seen them in the tour of britain), amongst other promising results, and signed a two-year contract with EF Education-Easypost to make his worldtour debut this year. provisionally down for both Paris-Nice and Roubaix, but we know what EF are like with their rosters, so we'll have to see!
🪄magically ensure one result for one rider this year
it's a race where luck has more of an impact than most, so i would wave the magic wand and mechanical-proof wout van aert's bike in Roubaix this year -- he has shown time and time again that he has the strength to win it, and it would be a brilliant addition to an already stellar career
