y/n laughed as Mapi tumbled over, the defender getting her feet tangled as she tried to tackle y/n, the young Hermoso instead sending the tattooed blonde the wrong way and onto the ground.

y/n sent a cross into Alexia, the woman striking it past Cata and into the back of the net, meaning just as Jonatan called time, the playful training match coming to an end.

y/n cheered with her bib team, jumping on Aitana who was closest to her, the woman laughing and spinning the winger slightly as they celebrated.

Salma poked her tongue out at her friend, clearly annoyed at the playful loss, y/n just shook her head at Salma who laughed as she watched y/n get off Aitana.

An arm wrapped around y/n's shoulder and Alexia pulled the girl into her side, y/n's head coming onto her shoulder being just an inch shorter than her Captain.

"Perfecta como siempre mi estrella." Alexia hummed, relishing in the blush which fought its way up the woman's cheeks.

The use of the term usually made Alexia feel slightly shy, but whenever the words slipped from y/n's lips, something twisted in her stomach, a protective want that made Alexia want y/n to chant the name out in pants and groans beneath her.

As y/n turned to laugh at Mapi, Alexia shook her head of the thoughts which had started to push into her head, she looked up arm still wrapped around y/n only to see Lucy watching her with a knowing look.

The Brit seemed to have been able to sniff out the captain's crush since she stepped foot in Barcelona. The only other soul to know was Mapi, and that was an accident.

Alexia had gone out with the team and the one time she had decided to let loose, and drink she spilled the secret she had kept so close to her heart.

She was in love with y/n Hermoso, her team-mate, her striker, and worse, her best friend's little sister. Mapi had found her in the bathroom after two drinks.

Alexia didn't drink often so she didn't have a high tolerance and she was sat on the closed toilet lid, head in her hands as she tried to rid her impure thoughts while she tried to not think about y/n and the tight dress she was wearing.

When Mapi found her, she was scared her captain had hurt herself, but the woman just scoffed and blamed love for her injury, it didn't take Mapi long to figure it out after that.

Alexia rolled her eyes at Lucy, the Brit just sighing and looking away as y/n chased after Mapi, the blonde letting out a panicked shriek as y/n chased her down with her water bottle.

"Mierda." y/n cursed as she missed Mapi.

Mapi turned back with an evil grin and before y/n could blink she was covered in ice cold water and Mapi was howling in amusement as she stood there shocked.

The rest of the team were all laughing along as y/n trudged back to them, a pout on her lips as she waved her hands in upset at her soaked body.

"Alexia." y/n whined but the captain shook her head.

"juega juegos estúpidos, ganas premios estúpidos, princesa." Alexia hummed, Mapi shouting in victory as y/n huffs.

Suddenly y/n launches forward, her body jumping onto Alexia's back and pressing her cold wet shirt into the back of Alexia's dry one, the captain letting out a shout of annoyance.

"juega juegos estúpidos, ganas premios estúpidos, reina." y/n hums back.

Alexia huffs and rolls her eyes but her hands come up to hold y/n's thighs, walking them both toward the changing rooms which once they arrive in, y/n hops off.

Lucy laughs at y/n as she rips her wet top off, flinging it at the now shouting Lucy. y/n ignores the complaining older woman and moves to the showers, unaware of her staring captain.

Alexia wondered if she hadn't seen y/n shirtless in a while, but the once faint outline of abs, were now a chiselled picture on her stomach, the rest of the toned muscles hidden behind her sports bra.

"You're drooling, la reina." Lucy mutters to Alexia, and the captain glares at her.

"Shut up." She sighs.

Once the group were all changed, a large group of them made their way toward the exit, the Barcelona sun still dangling high in the air, trying to keep as much of the day alive as possible.

y/n was talking to Ingrid when she saw her, a body lent against her car, a familiar body who when y/n let out a shocked call looked up grinning.

"Jenni!" y/n yelled, racing over at her sister, the two meeting in a very tight hug, it becoming impossible to define where one sister started and the other met.

If there was one thing that was known of the Hermoso siblings, it was that they were incredibly close. And since they no longer played at the same club, the two were known to visit each other as often as possible.

Jenni's move was tough on her younger sister, the two having been depressed from days at the beginning when they weren't together everyday.

While the two had now become used to the distance, the shock of seeing her sister was still an incredibly grateful one for y/n, especially when they had a day off the next day.

"¿Qué estás haciendo aquí?" y/n asked her sister as they pulled away. The group coming over and hugging their friend one by one.

"Me jalé el muslo, estoy bien antes de que te preocupes. Simplemente no jugaré durante las próximas semanas." Jenni explains as her sister kisses her cheek again.

Jenni laughs but nods, knowing there was no saying no to Mapi Leon, and y/n grins as the group agrees to meet in several hours at their usual place.

As y/n starts packing her car and the others depart, no one notices the shared look between, Lucy, Mapi and Jenni, no one other than Alexia herself.

Jenni sat happily sipping her drink, watching her sister who laughed as Mapi picked up another four uno cards. The group were at a small beach-side bar.

It was a usual for the group to go and relax, they didn't have to drink or party and were warned against it during the season so the bar here was perfect for them to relax but still be out.

Jenni was sat next to Alexia and Lucy, the latter talking with Keira about something funny that her nephew had done, Alexia was just sat watching y/n.

"So, will we talk about it?" Jenni asks Alexia, using English as she knew if her sister was to overhear, which would be doubtful, she would have a harder time picking out English words, not as fluent as her sister.

"Talk about what?" Alexia asks, turning to face her best friend, her face stone cold.

"Your feelings for my sister." Jenni shrugged and if she hadn't have known Alexia so well, she wouldn't have seen the slip in her cold mask.

"Jenni." Alexia sighed, clearly not having the strength to lie to her.

"It's okay, amiga." Jenni tried, knowing how much Alexia hated being overly vulnerable. "It's okay." She adds.

Lucy and Keira move with a shared look, understanding their captain deserved privacy in this moment, the two opting to join the rest of the group who were watching the intense Uno game happening.

"Rule one, don't date teammates. Rule two, don't give up. Rule three, don't date your best friend's siblings." Alexia denies, her voice void of any emotion.

The captain knew as soon as she slipped from her cold mask Jenni would see. She would be able to see the pleading in her eyes, the captain would be begging to be with her sister if not for her rules.

"Rule four, ignore rules 1 and 3 for y/n Hermoso." Jenni says simply.

Alexia and Jenni never had to say much to each other, they both preferred it that way and with that sentence Alexia could have cried.

She looked over at her best friend who smiled softly as if promising it was okay. Alexia gripped her best friend's hand, grateful for her more than she would be able to voice.

"Now, you must swallow your pride amiga, and your stupid rules." Jenni warns as she nods to her sister, who had bowed out of Uno and gone to get another drink.

Alexia nodded and moved quickly, smoothly gliding next to y/n as she thanked the bartender for her new drink.

"Hola Ale." y/n smiled as she looked up at her captain.

"¿Quieres salir a caminar?" Alexia asked softly, and the look in her eyes had y/n nodding and placing her drink down as they left the bar.

The two found themselves walking hand-in-hand down the beach, the crisp Barcelona air still warm, even with the inky sky above them reminding them of the time.

They talked quietly, their conversation flowing easily as they talked of anything that came to mind. But as y/n giggled at a joke Alexia had made, the captain could no longer keep her rules.

"Sal conmigo." Alexia said softly, not even realising it had slipped from her lips.

y/n paused, her body tensing as Alexia stopped, cursing herself in her mind for how un-romantically she had said that, an entire speech had been brewing in her mind but instead she said that.

"qué?" y/n asked.

"Sal conmigo." Alexia repeated, stronger this time. While stil not what she wanted to say it was progress.

"¿Qué pasa con tus reglas?" y/n asked rush, holding up three fingers to show she knew the three.

"¿Quién te habló de ellas?" Alexia questioned annoyed.

"Mapi." y/n admitted sheepishly, Alexia sighing.

"Mapi." The woman nodded.

Alexia bit her lip and stepped closer to y/n, her hand coming up to take hold of the woman's waist, giving her time to pull away, but when she didn't, Alexia pulled her closer.

"Eres tan hermosa que duele, juegas como nadie que haya visto jamás y podrías llenar el océano con cosas que sabes. Pero no podrías llenar el océano con mis sentimientos por ti, porque ni siquiera los océanos tienen suficiente espacio para ellos." Alexia whispers.

Her speech was much closer to what she had wanted to say and y/n sucked in a shaky breath, her hands coming up to cup Alexia's face, as if trying to reassure herself this was real.

y/n smiled softly, her thumb rubbing circles on Alexia's cheek as she pressed her forehead against her captain's.

Alexia let out a breath laugh, her nose brushing y/n's as she did so, her hand tightening around her waist as the other came up to rest behind her neck.

"¿puedo besarte?" Alexia whispered.

"Por favor." y/n pleaded and Alexia needed no more.

Her lips pushed against y/n's softly slotting them together as she pulled her tighter to her body, she took it no further, despite her body begging her too, simply for now having their lips together was enough.

And suddenly, Alexia was very grateful for rule four.

Did you ever sell a guitar only to immediately wish you hadn't?

That's what happened with this 2009 Gibson Custom ES-339. It's a joy to play - one of those rare guitars that is just perfect in every way right out of the box.

I sold it back when I went through my "I only buy vintage" phase, a dark period when I sold so many excellent modern guitars to finance more expensive (but mediocre) vintage ones! 😉

Took me 8 years to convince my pal to sell it back to me...but it's back!

Hi John. I recently saw a video from 1997 and for Spy you had what looks like a black Gibson semi-hollow body guitar (maybe a 335 or 339) that was originally right-handed and the pick guard rotated around. Was that your guitar? I don’t think I’ve seen it before or since.

JF: after our truck was stolen in 1995-6(?) with all our gear, I got an ES 335 (big red) and after goofing around with Les Pauls which felt kind of dead feeling. I got that Lucille model (like a solid es 335 with ebony fretboard) for a crazy low price in a store in Western Mass. It played great and sounded great, but it was insanely heavy and kind of woke me up to how uncomfortable heavy guitars are. At the every end of the 90s I sold it-for a profit I am shocked to say-right around the time I got my blue tele built by the Fender Custom shop.

Las numerosas partes de la restauración, incluida la base de la escultura, las piernas de Cupido y parte de los pies y las alas de Psique, habrían sido integradas por Giacomo Antonio Fancelli (1619-1671), discípulo de Bernini. La obra, datable en la segunda mitad del siglo II d.C., es una interpretación romana de un grupo helenístico, elaborada hacia finales del siglo II a.C.

Means of the Destruction of the Cities of the Plain

The Biblical Description

The Bible provides a detailed description of the calamity that befell the Cities of the Plain. In that description are two Hebrew phrases and a Hebrew word that must be examined in order to understand the event: goprit wa es, the material that fell on the cities (Gn 19:24), hapak, what happened to the cities (Gn 19:25), and kqitor hakkibsan, what Abraham observed (Gn 19:28).

The word goprit is a foreign loan word, most likely derived from Akkadian ki/ubritu, which means sulfurous oil (black sulfur) (Gentry 1999). The word accompanying goprit, wcc es, simply means "and fire." In other words, the material that fell on Sodom and Gomorrah and the Cities of the Plain (except Zoar) was a burning petroleum product. The term hapak means to overturn, or overthrow.

When Abraham looked down upon the scene of devastation, he observed smoke rising from the land of the plain, keqitor hakkibsan, "like smoke from a furnace." A kibsan is a pottery kiln (Wood 1992). Air passing through a pottery kiln does so by means of a forced draft resulting from the heating of the air. The smoke exiting from a kiln is forced out of the exit flue and pushed upward into the air. That is what Abraham observed—smoke from the land of the plain being forced upwards. The word used for smoke, qitor, is not the word used for smoke from an ordinary fire. Rather, it is a thick smoke, the smoke that comes from sacrifices. It is clear that something unnatural or extraordinary is recorded here.

The Biblical description, then, of the destruction was of burning material raining down from above, accompanied by an overturning of the cities and thick smoke being forced upward from the land. A rather apocalyptic scene, one that was forever etched in the minds of the ancient Israelites. The awful devastation and destruction that occurred that day became the example par excellence of God's judgment of sin.

Geological Investigations

At first reading it would seem that the destruction was caused by a volcanic eruption. When geologist Frederick G. Clapp visited the region in 1929 and again in 1934 he found that there was no evidence to indicate that lava or ash eruptions had taken place as recently as 4,000 years ago. He determined that topographic relationships render it probable that the last outburst in the vicinity took place thousands of years before Abraham's time (Clapp 1936a: 906; 1936b: 339–40). More recent assessments support that conclusion (Neev and Emery 1995: 147).

Clapp found that the region south of the Dead Sea is very unstable, being bordered by fault lines on the east and west. Earthquakes are common in this area. After surveying the geology of the district, Clapp concluded that combustible materials from the earth destroyed the cities. He found bitumen and petroleum in the area. Natural gas and sulfur, which normally accompany bitumen and petroleum, are also present. These combustible materials could have been forced from the earth by subterranean pressure brought about by an earthquake resulting from the shifting of the bounding faults (Clapp 1936a: 906; 1936b: 40). Geologists who have studied the area in recent times agree with Clapp's reconstruction (Harris and Beardow 1995: 360; Neev and Emery 1995: 13–14; 33, 37). If lightning or surface fires ignited these combustibles as they came spewing forth from the ground, it would indeed result in a holocaust such as described in Genesis 19. It is significant to note that both Bab edh-Dhra and Numeira lie at the edge of the plain, exactly on the eastern fault line!

Abraham, after having previously spoken with the Lord, knew of the impending judgment. Rising early in the morning he looked toward the Cities of the Plain from his vantage point at Hebron, high on the Mount Judah range west of the Dead Sea. Smoke rising from the plain south of the Dead Sea would have been readily visible from Hebron. In fact, mist rising from the Dead Sea can be seen almost any day from there. Abraham's eyewitness description fits the theory of a conflagration of petroleum products, for such a conflagration would result in a thick black smoke being forced into the sky by the heat and pressure of the burning materials shooting out of the fissure in the earth.

Studien zeigen, dass die Lebensmittelzusätze keineswegs so gut für unseren Körper sind.

• Phosphor ist zunächst einmal ein chemisches Nichtmetall, was wir in der Natur in verschiedenen Mineralien vorfinden

• Phosphor und Phosphat sind keine Synonyme, hängen aber eng zusammen

• verbindet sich Phosphor mit einem anderen Stoff, so entsteht Phosphat

Phosphor selbst finden wir in so ziemlich jedem Lebensmittel. Vor allem Nahrungsmittel, die zusätzlich proteinreich sind, enthalten in einem hohen Maß Phosphor:

- Milchprodukte wie Schmelzkäse (944 mg Phosphor/ 100 g), Emmentaler (636 mg/ 100 g), Gouda (443 mg/ 100 g)

- Fleisch wie Schweineschnitzel (172 mg/ 100 g)

- Fisch wie Kabeljau (190 mg/ 100 g)

- Hülsenfrüchte wie Walnüsse (410 mg/ 100 g)

- Gemüse wie roher Spinat (55 mg/ 100 g)

- Früchte wie Erdbeeren (29 mg/ 100 g) oder Birnen (6 mg/ 100 g)

Die Aufnahme von Phosphor kann aufgrund anderer Substanzen erschwert werden. Grund hierfür ist, dass der Körper dann andere Verbindungen eingeht und das Phosphor aufgrund fehlender, zellulärer Ressourcen nicht absorbiert, also aufgenommen werden kann. Ein Zuviel an Eisen, Aluminium oder Calcium sowie Phytinsäuren ist deswegen problematisch.

Die EU erlaubt die Nutzung verschiedener Phosphatverbindungen: Natriumphosphat (E 339), Kaliumphosphat (E 450), Calciumphosphat (E 341), Diphosphat (E 450), Triphosphat (E 451).

Weiterhin problematisch ist die fehlende Kennzeichnung der Zusatzstoffe als künstliches Phosphat. Zwar gebe es die E-Nummern der Zusatzstoffe, die auch angegeben werden. Allerdings können Sie als Verbraucher nicht die konkrete Menge des Zusatzstoffes ableiten. Aufgrund dessen sollten Sie Lebensmittel wie Fischkonserven, bearbeitetes Fleisch, Softdrinks sowie Cola-Getränke zumindest reduziert zu sich nehmen!

Sinópsis

Theo Faber, un ambicioso psicoterapeuta forense obsesionado con el caso, está empeñado en desentrañar el misterio de lo que ocurrió aquella noche fatal y consigue una plaza en The Grove, la unidad de seguridad en el norte de Londres a la que Alicia fue enviada hace seis años y en la que sigue obstinada en su silencio. Pronto descubre que el mutismo de la paciente está mucho más enraizado de lo que pensaba. Pero, si al final hablara, ¿estaría dispuesto a escuchar la verdad?

Mi opinión

La Paciente Silenciosa es uno de los primeros thrillers que he leído y a su vez, es el primer libro de este gran escritor Alex Michaelides, que siéndoles completamente sincera menudo futuro tiene y tendrá a juzgar por esta increíble obra literaria.

Es una novela que me agarró con la guardia completamente baja y que no me esperaba para nada todo lo que iba a ir sucediendo conforme leyera una página tras otra. Dividida en 5 partes, con capítulos que se hacen breves y te dejan sediento de más, te va adentrando en una historia dramática llena de pistas indescifrables que terminan desembocando en un rebuscado plot-twist, que me dejó sin palabras así como se encuentra Alicia en la gran mayoría del libro.

La historia está narrada en primera persona por Theo, quien es uno de los personajes principales. Un psicoterapeuta forense completamente obsesionado con el caso de Alicia, que está dispuesto a arriesgarlo todo y más por revelar el gran misterio sobre el asesinato de Gabriel y la razón por la cual ella no ha vuelto a hablar. En su relato podemos ver como se trasciende entre conceptos teóricos de la psicología que se pueden entender perfectamente sin necesidad de ser un experto en el tema, acompañados de citas de diferentes profesionales o formas de reflexionar sobre la salud mental que cumplen el propósito de desviar la atención del libro para adentrarte en tu propia mente y psicoanalizarte.

La forma desesperante y repetitiva en la que Theo intenta que Alicia revele todos sus secretos es atrapante de principio a fin. Pero por su parte, ésta increíble pintora con muchísimos éxitos se niega rotundamente a brindarle una sola palabra, y será entonces donde entre en juego la habilidad de Theo de descifrar que tiene ella para decir con una simple mirada. La historia de Alicia está llena de situaciones conflictivas que repercuten en su futuro persiguiéndola constantemente. Uno cree que vive una vida magnifica, acompañada de Gabriel, su esposo, quién se preocupa mucho por ella y le demuestra su cariño constantemente, hasta cierto punto. Un hombre misterioso, que debo admitir, me quedé con más ganas de saber sobre él, pero entiendo su breve participación en el relato.

Por supuesto que conforme avanza la historia, también tenemos un deleite sobre la vida de Theo y su esposa Kathy y de como afecta toda la situación de Alicia a su vida cotidiana. Esto es lo que hace que sientas que lees dos libros diferentes pero que al final todo cobra sentido y desemboca en un mismo río.

Como conclusión, creo que es una historia que juega con el lector y que con un poco de suerte la termines descifrando entre las primeras hojas del libro. En mi caso, yo me rehusé a ver todas las pistas y a conectarlas entre ellas por lo que el final me dio un puñetazo directo a la cara. Siento que podría haber tenido un desemboque un poco diferente al que termina teniendo por todo lo que brinda la historia a lo largo de sus 339 páginas que debo admitir se me hicieron muy cortas porque llega un punto en el que no puedes parar de leer y necesitas imperiosamente decifrar todo el misterio, pero me voy satisfecha con el desenlace y con ganas de leer un poco más sobre éste autor para ver con qué más puede sorprenderme.

I would like to describe myself as someone who is first and foremost kind! I try my hardest to be loving and to care for others which has also lead to me having some people pleasing tendencies 😅 I’m also a bit of a perfectionist. And something I’ve noticed recently is that I’m always trying to make light of a situation and am pretty non-serious (like always trying to crack a joke or play some bit). I’ve also been told I’m very polite when needed but I also have an attitude sometimes 😂

Ich finde es so verrückt. Wir haben das ganze Jahr über uns immer und immer wieder gesehen. Wir haben über alles geredet und waren mal so eng miteinander das dort nicht einmal ein Blatt zwischen passte. Doch was ist jetzt? So kalt wie es in den wunderschönen verschneiten winternächten ist, so kalt bist du zu mir. Zwischen uns beiden stehen mittlerweile Berge. Und irgendwie bist du nurnoch ein fremder.

Doch dennoch weiß ich wie sich deine Nähe anfühlt, wie sich deine Stimme anhört, was deine Lieblingsfarbe ist Und wann du Geburtstag hast. Doch dennoch bist du ein fremder. Ein fremder mit dem ich ziemlich viele Erinnerungen teile.

Es gibt so viele Tage von denen ich erzählen könnte wenn ich an dieses Jahr zurück denke, doch egal ob gut oder schlecht du spielst in allen eine Rolle. Und ich sitze noch hier und lese dieses letzte Kapitel zu Ende. Seite 339. von diesem Buch, es geht allein um dich. Und ich glaube nach dem ich das Buch zu Ende gelesen habe, wird mein Herz im ewigen kalten Winter erfroren sein.
