My thought process for her in this current situation is kind of like a mixture of her wanting one less pairs of eyes on her, while also trying to get the peace of mind that this isnt her fault by trying to "fix" the problem without actually considering what might be best for the people she's trying to help rn. She's the perfect pretty girl after all, she can't have this being something people know her for! (Not to mention i headcanon that Yumehara's enjoyment of love stories and that kind of stuff absolutely rubbed off on her, so she is also kind of rooting for Naegi here)

There's also the mix of genuinely wanting people to be happy and wanting them to actually live their lives without being in love with her, but that's not nearly at the forefront of her mind.

But no yeah a lot of this is for a much more selfish reason than she'd ever openly admit without an outside force making her do so.
