In the hard mode au, Bear is pretty pathetic during the catfish pond chapter, and beating Snaggerjag and getting the ring back is what makes him start to openly respect Nate, cuz Nate doesn’t JUST summon Walkappa, he swims in there with Walkappa (cuz Walkappa is scared of going too deep into the Pond.

In the Gourd Pond Museum chapter, Eddie dares Nate to come with him at night. (Nate Doesn’t care but Whisper senses an Aura coming from the Museum so he encourages Nate to go.) and after the Phantasamurai fight reveals he was absolutely terrified. He then also starts to respect Nate openly.

Also, Katie almost reveals she can see yo-kai when she runs away from Tarantutor in the bathroom. (After the fight she says she “thought she saw a spider.” As her cover up. Also during the rooftop cutscene she glances at Jibanyan and whisper but looks away before they can realize.)

I think one of the coolest aspects of YW that should be delved into, has to be the watch customization

This was such a great moment from the anime that really showed that all of them are friends even if they joke about Nate being ordinary and that they enjoy being his friend.

Kinda wish the anime had a lot more of these moments, especially later on...
