“if  there  weren’t  so  many  people  watching  us,  i’d  already  be  on  my  knees  in  front  of  you.”

it  is  astounding  how  much  things  can  change  over  a  week.  eden  who  could  barely  stand  to  be  in  the  same  room  as  he  is  now  finds  himself  gravitating  towards  kyungsoo  every  time  their  paths  cross,  which  is  rather  often  considering  their  collaborative  project.  kyungsoo’s  breath  is  caught  in  his  throat  when  he  catches  eden’s  whisper  and  his  lips  twist  into  a  smirk  before  he  responds.  “no  one  will  notice  if  we  slip  away.”  people  will  notice,  but  kyungsoo  won't  care.  he’s  already  made  his  dutiful  appearance  for  the  evening.  why  would  he  continue  wasting  his  time  here  when  his  night  is  about  to  take  a  much  more  exciting  turn?

eden: how we sleep during the day, and don’t eat dinner with you?

heidi: oh! because you’re vampires?

eden: ...yeah. that doesn’t scare you, does it?

heidi: nope! it makes you two special.

eden: *laughs* you’re a good kid.

eden: but you know when you’re old enough, you can be like us too.

heidi: i can?

eden: but only if you want to! it’s a big decision.

eden: make sure you really think about it, and you can tell us when you’re older.

heidi: *giggles* okay!

🔥 the florence family had returned home a couple of days after eden willow’s birthday. the whole family was in high spirits, full of life, laughter, and love. none of them could have guessed what would happen next.

it was a simple pot of mac n cheese that did it. some noodles, a packet of cheese dust, and a pot full of water was what altered the florence family lineup forever. neither gwendoline nor ulrike had ever experienced complete and utter devestation like they were about to. this pot of mac n cheese was the catalyst for the downfall of the florence family household — and the beginning of a generations long curse.

“what  makes  it  so  hard?”  isn’t  kyungsoo  stuck  in  the  same  position  too,  living  a  dream  that  is  not  fabricated  according  to  his  wishes?  the  only  difference  is  he  is  less  honest  with  himself,  preferring  to  morph  his  thinking  around  the  wishes  placed  upon  him,  just  to  get  approval  that  he  may  never  receive.  as  if  eden  sees  through  him,  his  next  words  are  almost  taken  out  from  his  mind.  “you  make  it  sound  so  depressing.  makes  me  want  to  disappear  one  of  those  days.”  and  they  will  watch  what  happens  from  afar  —  maybe  the  chaos  won’t  be  half  as  disastrous  as  they  imagine  it  to  be.  “you’ll  get  it.”  multiple  tours  if  eden  wants  —  he  has  plenty  of  mansions  and  holiday  homes  that  they  can  play  in.  the  idea  of  eden  pinned  under  him  on  every  possible  surface  delights  him.  everything  about  his  accidental  lover  drives  him  crazy.  the  soft  whimpers  that  he  lets  out.  the  shape  of  his  lips.  the  teeth  that  sink  into  his  skin  without  remorse.  the  closeness  only  makes  him  crave  eden  more.  he  needs  him  closer,  until  it  is  impossible  to  tell  where  he  ends  and  eden  begins.  he  tugs  at  eden’s  lips,  an  arrogant  smirk  dangling  on  his  own  “have  you  always  been  so  greedy?”  he  kind  of  loves  that  about  him.
