February 1 2010 Lainey posts “Finally...about this business with Cory Monteith – they sat together at a pre-Grammy party on Saturday after being spotted out for dinner last week so now of course she’s totally going to marry him…More likely however – it’s a conveniently cutesy coverup for the f-ckery that’s happening with John Mayer. I’m told they went out for coffee together in Nashville, she and John, the morning after a group dinner with friends when he was alleged to have been seen at her house. February 5 2010 In Touch reports that John told a friend that he and Taylor hooked up in January in Nashville. “According to a source, the couple met up several times, in public and private, and were first seen getting cozy in a recording studio. “She was sitting on John’s lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear,” says the source. “That night, John, 32, and Taylor, 20, dined at the restaurant Cabana and were joined by friends afterward. The couple left alone and went back to The Hermitage Hotel, where they arrived in the loading dock to avoid being spotted and were escorted to John’s suite, the source claims. June 9 2010 Taylor and John are both at the CMT Awards, and Taylor writes The Story of Us based on this event. “She says Dear John and The Story of Us are about the same person. And her lyrical code for the latter spells out "CMT AWARDS," where she and Mayer both performed in June.” (link)

October 17 2010 the New York Post quotes Taylor, “There’s actually no surprise person on this record. I will be excited for you to hear that song, though.” (link)

October 18 2010 Taylor’s interview with Yahoo Music’s Chris Willman is published. She says her songs aren’t hard to interpret: “They’re all made very clear. Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out emails on this one.” (link)

“But, I said, by necessity of her fame and that of her recent boyfriends, she is past the point of using proper names in the lyrics now.

"Um," she responded, "there's still names that I used. Wait till you hear those."”

Willman publishes lyrics to Dear John in the article, which is followed by many articles about the song lyrics and her relationship with John.

October 19 2010 Taylor tells People magazine, “A lot of times when people’s relationships end, they write an e-mail to that person and say everything that they wish they would have said. A lot of times they don’t push send. This was a tough one to write, and I guess putting it on the album was pushing send.” (link)

October 20 2010 Taylor tells the New York Times “I feel like in my music I can be a rebel. I can say things I wouldn’t say in real life. I couldn’t put the sentence together the way I could put the song together.” (link)

October 21 2010 PopEater reports, “Everyone knows John "loves publicity and lives for this" type of situation, a giddy friend of John's tells me.” (link)

October 25 2010 Speak Now is released.

June 6 2012 John talks to Rolling Stone and says that he was “really humiliated” by Dear John.“It made me feel terrible. Because I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do.” (link)

“I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”

When asked about the song’s line, “Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with?” Mayer says, “I don’t want to go into that.”

“I will say as a songwriter that I think it’s kind of cheap songwriting. I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’ That’s bullshit.”

June 7 2012 The New York Post reports that on the day the article was published the two had a run-in in Los Angeles. “According to the New York Post, Swift walked into the hangout and noticed Mayer, who was there with a friend. "Taylor very visibly — in front of the entire restaurant — demanded to be moved to the other side," the eyewitness said. "The bar's usually an oasis of calm and privacy for celebrities and power players, but this was drama central." But according to a Swift source who spoke with Gossip Cop, there was no nasty confrontation and while the singer was at the bar, it's not even confirmed whether they saw each other.” (link)

Us Weekly reports “A Swift pal scoffs at Mayer’s counterpunch. “I can’t believe he is trying to play the victim!”” (link)

““John was a player and treated her like s–t,” another source tells Us. “He looked at her as a conquest.” After the Rolling Stone interview, “Taylor is going to think even less of him now!” the source adds.”

September 30 2012 Taylor’s November cover story for Glamour is published and she has the following exchange with the writer:

Glamour: And "Dear John," also about a failed relationship, still seems to be resonating strongly. Does that surprise you?

Taylor Swift: I think that song really hit home with a lot of girls who had been through toxic relationships and had found their way to the other side of it. I've never looked out while singing a song during a concert to see so many girls crying.

Glamour: You never identified who it was about, but John Mayer recently told Rolling Stone that it was him.

Taylor Swift: How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about.

Glamour: He said he felt…

Taylor Swift: No! I don't want to know, I don't want to know.

Glamour: You don't? [Mayer told Rolling Stone that he was "humiliated" by the song, and that Swift's releasing it was "a really lousy thing for her to do."]

Taylor Swift: I know it wasn't good, so I don't want to know. I put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can't handle.

April 16 2013 Grazia reports “Sources claimed to Grazia that they spotted each other on the red carpet and were later "deep in conversation" at an after party. (link)

"They snuck off to a corner and were all over each other. At one point she had her hands on his knees, with him holding her waist – they were so deep in conversation."

“‘Taylor spotted John on the red carpet, but it was only at the party that they got talking,’ a source told Grazia magazine.” (link)

“It allegedly turned into an all-night reunion as Taylor invited John for breakfast at her hotel room at The Orleans.”

Taylor’s camp issues a denial: “There is no truth to this... whatsoever.”

April 22 2013 Us Weekly reports “One insider says Swift, 23, put on “a stink” about her ex-boyfriend’s performance. “She said she had to go on earlier than him,” the source tells Us of the songwriter.” (link)

June 18 2013 John releases Paper Doll, an apparent response track to Dear John (link)

July 5 2013 John performs Paper Doll on the Today Show. When asked "There's been some speculation from the press that it might be about someone. True or false?" He responds “Yeah, songwriters write songs because of people, about people. Anything someone else wrote is their reception of a song; I don’t get involved in it. It’s none of my business.” (link)

August 20 2014 both dine at the Chateau Marmont. HollywoodLife reports “When Taylor saw John it was as if she saw a ghost. She was horrified and, for a moment, contemplated leaving. Cooler heads prevailed and she acted as if she didn't see him but she totally knew he was there and was uncomfortable."

Part 1

Theory:

TS7 will be called Lovers. It will be a double album and one side will be called ME! and the other side will be called YOU!. It’ll be released October 3rd. There will be 28 tracks, 15 on one side and 13 on the other. The next single and music video will be called angels with Drake and it will be track 5. Some other songs will be Kaleidoscope, Cheers, Youth, Language of Love, The Most Fun, and Heart(s). There will be a world tour that will start May 13th.

First of all the title of TS7: Lovers. We all know about the neon light sign in the ME! mv. She said that this was the most obvious Easter egg she has ever had in her live on Instagram. I guess this is just my opinion, but I think that this sounds like an album name. If you say all of her albums chronologically and add Lovers after rep it sounds good.

Now the double album. Both the Time and Entertainment Weekly issues that she was on the cover of were double issues. She was on the cover of TWO Elle issues, Elle UK and Elle USA. She had two magazines for Reputation. There were two reading type things for Rep tour, the hardcover book and the magazine. She also said that this album will be longer than any of her other albums. This means that it will have at least 23 tracks(Red had 22). There have been things in counts of 15 and we know that numerology is a big thing around here. 15+13=28(I don’t think that I need to explain 13). I know what you’re thinking. There were 29 pins on her jacket in the EW magazine. In the video she said that some Easter eggs are just her reminding us that she really loves cats. She had pins for the ladies of her jacket, but she has 3 cats now(love u Benji). 3-2=1 so the cats really only equal one pin, so 28. Idk this might be a stretch but I don’t know how else to explain it. The YOU and ME theory is already out there so I don’t think I need to explain it. This would support the Lovers theory because there are two lovers(her and Joe) in any romantic relationship. From Taylor’s perspective, You and ME are the Lovers in her relationship. Also, in Dress at the 7th second, she says “they got no idea about me and you”. Also, there was a Drake pin on the EW jacket. He won album of the year for his double album. He said he always DREAMED of doing a double album. I think that dream is a popular word among Swifties for this era.

Taylor confirmed that stamps on the calendar mean something. If you go to September and look at the bottom, there is a gold stamp with splatters in the shape of a star. This is the most extravagant stamp on the whole calendar. Also, she has always released albums in October-November and then she goes on tour in the summer. In the EW video, she said that special dates add up to 13. October 3rd is the 3rd day of the 10th month. 10+3=13. It does not make any sense for the album to be released June 13th and have the tour start this summer because that would mean this whole era would only last about a year. She has been planning this for two years, so it would be totally not logical for this era to be only one year long. I think that the Swifties who think that are just a little excited, and that’s okay.

The next single and mv will be called Angels, it will be a collab with Drake, and it will be track 5. We all know the angels theory, so I don’t need to explain it. It will be released August 13th/August 26th(she might do another countdown). We know there will be another single and that the calendar theory is true. The stamp on April 13th is the EXACT SAME as the one on August 13th. It would make sense chronologically because Taylor said on Ellen that she hadn’t finished the MV yet. She also hinted at it not even being filmed by saying that she would love for Ellen to be in it.

E. Jean Carroll, the longtime Elle magazine advice columnist who last year accused Donald J. Trump of raping her before he was elected president, said on Tuesday that she was fired by the publication because of Mr. Trump’s repeated insults against her.Ms. Carroll, the author of the “Ask E. She said in an interview on CNN that Mr. Trump threw her up against a wall so hard that “I hit my head really hard — boom.” She said that she tried to fight back against Mr. Trump’s violent advances.

At the time Ms. Carroll’s account was published, Mr. Trump asserted during an interview with The Hill, a Capitol Hill news outlet, that he would not have assaulted her because “she’s not my type.”

“I’ll say it with great respect,” Mr. Trump said. “No. 1, she’s not my type. No. 2, it never happened. It never happened, OK?”

Mr. Trump insisted that he never met Ms. Carroll, but the two were photographed together at a party in 1987 with Ms. Carroll’s former husband, John Johnson. Mr. Trump later said that the image was misleading. He labeled Ms. Carroll as a liar who was trying to sell a book.

“Standing with my coat on in a line?” Mr. Trump said in June. “Give me a break — with my back to the camera? I have no idea who she is.”

New York’s Appellate Division ruled last year that the second defamation suit against Mr. Trump, which was filed by Summer Zervos, a former contestant on Mr. Trump’s television show, “The Apprentice,” could proceed.

The Appellate Division later said that the Court of Appeals should determine whether Mr. Trump was entitled to the immunity he has asserted.

Like Ms. Carroll, Ms. Zervos has accused Mr. Trump of assaulting her before he became president, and of defaming her by branding her liar.

If Mr. Trump’s fails in his effort to suspend Ms. Carroll’s suit until Ms. Zervos’s suit is resolved, he may be required to submit a DNA sample, according to court filings.

In a letter to Mr. Trump’s lawyers last month, Ms. Carroll said that she believed Mr. Trump’s DNA could match genetic material found on the dress that she says she was wearing the day of the alleged attack and has kept since then.

Speaking about her new HBO series “Euphoria”, the 22 year old star also talks about her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger and her evolution of style with her stylist Law Roach.

No stranger to the makeup world, Kylie Jenner is venturing out to give us something more than lips. Kylie Jenner debuted her “Kylie Skin” skincare line on Youtube/Instagram this week. Available to purchase on May 22nd for $125, her collection is consist of six products:

Moisturizer

Eye Cream

Walnut Scrub

To debut the collection, Kylie upload a series of videos to her Youtube Channel explaining the different products but the internet had something else in mind. Her fans and Twitter are not excited about the Walnut Scrub. Even though Jenner claims the product is “gently enough to use every day”, the internet has another thing coming. Scrubs like this have been an issue within the beauty industry for years. If you remember the St. Ives Apricot scrub disaster you know what we are speaking about. Kylie is no stranger to harsh comments so we are sure this is not going to faze her. Also, we are still a little guilty because we still want to check this out.

LVMH & Rihanna

On May 10th, LVMH announced the new luxury Maison developed by Robyn Rihanna Fenty. The new Maison is named “Fenty” will debut in Fall 2020. Rihanna said:

“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

Let’s see what this gal has in store for us. We are also waiting for some new music so sis needs to hurry up.

A Shorter NYFW

I know I did not think that Fashion Week was too long but Tom Ford, the new chairman of the CFDA did. Starting this Spring 202 season, NYFW will only run from Friday Night to Wednesday.

Rebel Wilson says she wasn't fat shamed — but the internet disagrees

Rebel Wilson is one of Hollywood’s most in-demand comedic actresses, known primarily for her role as “Fat Amy” in the Pitch Perfect films. But on Tuesday she announced a new addition to her résumé when she revealed her gorgeous photo on the cover of Vogue Australia.

“I never would’ve thought this element would be added to my life: Vogue Covergirl,” she wrote on Instagram and Twitter. “This was such an amazing experience, thank you Vogue Australia and to all the designers and stylists who worked on this shoot!”

Appearing in a long brown trench coat and a black gown, Wilson raved about the work of the stylists on the shoot. However, Wilson’s fans have taken offense at the way she appears in the billowy look.

“I think it’s so amazing they put you on the cover and I adore you,” one follower wrote, “but I’m so sad they drowned you in fabric.” Another echoed the sentiment, writing, “You don’t need that giant coat to cover up your beauty.”

But criticism aimed at the high-fashion magazine continued when others suggested that Wilson might even appear Photoshopped.

“She doesn’t even have recognizable wrists,” someone commented. “They widened her smile and she was always naturally beautiful.” Another said: “They altered the photo. Look at her face and hands. Slimmed down. Why can’t they just show her in her natural beauty?”

Soon after, Wilson provided a response herself, assuring followers that she wasn’t Photoshopped by the publication to appear slimmer. Instead, she admitted to a bit of diet and exercise before the big shoot.

Nope, not slimmed down! I just ate healthy and exercised for the month before the shoot x but then immediately after ate brownies!

And when the shaming comments continued, Wilson went so far as to provide photographic evidence of the raw photos versus what appeared in the magazine.

The side-by-side images received a ton of feedback as well, with fans coming to Wilson’s defense by calling those who claimed the photos were Photoshopped offensive.

However, it wouldn’t be the first time that readers have seen plus-size models and actresses appear in oversized clothes on magazine covers, as if to hide their bodies.

Back in 2013, Melissa McCarthy was at the center of a similar controversy when she appeared on the cover of Elle in a large green coat. The immediate reaction from people who saw the cover was that the publication was to blame for intentionally covering up the actress. However, like Wilson, McCarthy came to her own defense to say that she chose the coat herself and loved the way she looked in it.

Other magazines have been accused of cutting out the bodies of their curvier models entirely and showing only the faces of the plus-size women they feature. From Gabourey Sidibe’s Elle cover in 2010 to nearly every magazine that Adele has covered, this has been the case.

But regardless of the intentions of any of these publications, many of Wilson’s fans agreed that the Vogue Australia cover is an accomplishment worth celebrating.
