Got bored, have a random sketch page for practice because I struggle drawing faces. And Ghosts.

Couple notes to self under the cut:

For Nocturne, I need to broaden the shoulders a bit. Just proportions in general. First sketch so that's my excuse. Elyan turned out better, but its features are squished. Ellis I just need to even the features out a bit.

I wanna do another attempt at RZ, I think I could do better. Same with Gerda and Cayde. I need to figure out how to draw Exos.

Drifter looks too soft, somehow. I don't know how to explain it.

Eris and Crow turned out pretty well, just some minor tweaks and it would probably be fine?

What is Andal's hair?

Ghost shells are... weird. I think I'm close to getting Glint and Shard? Once I figured out I need to start with a leaf shape it went okay. Not sure about... any of the more standard shells. I genuinely got lost while doing Rufus, I'm sorry.

If you actually made it this far (why are you here?) send me a picture of your guardian and their ghost, I need practice. I might even do it in colour with the glass pens if you toss some Silver my way ;)

Holy shittt they look GORGEOUS!! Love the lighting, and Nocturne is just about PERFECT!

The Huntress's Lair

Due to the fact that a wolf appeared in Gerda's life, she had to reconsider her stay on Ness. Dogs can't crawl on trees, and Levy worries about hammocks when they swing.

Therefore, a comfortable shelter was found under the root system of a huge tree!

@ellis-the-lightguide Thank you so much for the provided pillow leaves. Levy is thrilled with the new bed!

"What...?"

Freija had six boxes of apple pastries on the table sorted by type. One of the pies was half eaten; one forkful at a time, guessing by the fork still in it.

At the moment, the Titan was putting on her boots next to the door.

"That is a full pie," Thomas pointed out. "Or was, why are you...."

"Guy who gave them to me is trying to use a shitload of apples," Freija said with a shrug. "It's tasty, I didn't feel like cutting it up when there's a whole other one and he said there was more. Sunny suggested I get ice cream to eat with the rest."

He studied the boxes and sniffed. "They smell good." He looked in and picked out a small fried dumpling. "Taste good, too." He picked up three more to carry back into the den.

"Right? Friendly guy named Ellis. Dunno how old."

Thomas shrugged. "Age tells you nothing but it can explain some stuff."

Freija cut him a look. "Anyway, I'm gonna go get ice cream."

"Can you eat ice cream? Or carry it?"

Freija was about to get mad but that second one was a good point. She grabbed a thermal bag and tucked it under her arm on her way out.

I can tell if Zavala or Ikora are mad at me simply by how they say my name. If it's just Ellis or Ellis the Lightguide then there's nothing to worry about. But if they call me Lightguide Ellis that means I'm about to get ripped to pieces.

If you hear a weird noise in the rafters, there is a 50% chance it's RZ-3 and 40% chance it is a rat. Either way, don't shoot.

The goose in the Hangar is not a goose. The goose in the Bazaar is a goose. Either way, watch your step.

Pigeons are not permitted outside of their designated area in the Hangar, regardless of what Saint-14 says. Too many pigeons have been lost to ship engines, Tower cats, and Louis.

Do not approach the shadow in the Annex.

Don't harass the frames or RZ-3 will smite you. This includes Benedict 99-40, who is wandering around [redacted].

Don't violate COSHA rules around civilians or RZ-3 will smite you. Break them on your own time; don't drag civilians into it. (COSHA = City Occupational Safety and Hazard Agency)

The vending machine near the Annex [not Drifter's stash] will give you whatever drink you need most. Do not question it. Do not ask for a refund. Do not try to find out who stocks it.

The ramen shop in the Bazaar is run by a multi-generational family. They will feed you even if you're low on glimmer. Eating locally is encouraged!

If you see a sick or injured Tower cat, please call the hotline instead of trying to deal with it yourself! There is a Tower vet on call 24/7.

Dares, death pacts, "Thanatonaut research" waivers, and other agreements made while jumping off the Tower aren't legally binding and therefore not admissible in City court.

Contrary to popular opinion, RZ-3 is not the origin for 1/3 of the Tower's "weird rules" (eg "don't use fire extinguishers as 'engines' for cardboard box races"). He does know most of the stories behind them, however.

He sighed, hesitating a moment before taking his gloves off and setting them aside. He shifted Ellis to a more comfortable position before picking up the fabric the other had been trying to fix before passing out. After finding where he'd left off, he picked it back up, his stitches surprisingly tight and neat.
