Hi love!!! You are not wasting my time at all!! I love getting requests for Elrond!! I thought I'd make this in a little headcanon style! I hope you like it!!!

Jealous! Elrond Headcanon

Elrond is not typically a jealous man; he knows you love him, and he loves you

What he is though, is an insecure man, not all of the time, but when he sees you with someone that might in his mind be a better fit for you, he tends to spiral and doubt himself

Usually this results in his amping up the clinginess, he attaches himself to your side, kisses your temple, your hand, your forehead, and whispers compliments in your ear. Usually that works, and you shower him with affection having realized how he’s feeling.

Except it doesn’t work when Galadriel returns, bringing with her the King of the Southlands. Halbrand is a handsome man, with strong hands, a dry wit, and his eyes set on you.

You being the sweet person you are, stay by Halbrand’s side as he regales you with the stories of their travels, shushing Elrond, or gently pushing him away when he tries to interrupt.

Elrond is also very patient, so he gives you some time, he won't deny that the stories Halbrand tells are fascinating, but after a while he starts to feel anxious. What if you begin to prefer Halbrand’s company to his own? What can a herald offer when in contrast with a king? True, the Southlands are currently in ruin, but he is still a king.

You’re sitting across the crowded table from Halbrand listening intently as he tells the tale of his meeting with Galadriel to the other dinner guest when you feel Elrond’s hand on your knee. It’s warm and comforting, so you think nothing of it.

Then it starts to move higher, and you look at him out of the corner of your eye. He gives you an innocent look. When it bushes your clothed inner thigh, you grab it and turn slightly.

“Elrond.” You hiss, eyes wide.

He leans forward, looking as if he’s innocently whispering in your ear. “My sweet starlight, why do you turn from me? Why do you reject my touch? All I wish is to please the one who has captured my heart.”

“That is not appropriate at this time, my love.” You whisper back, an inkling of his motive appearing in your mind. “Are you jealous?”

He nips your earlobe, and you purse your lips to contain your surprised squeak.

“Do I need to be jealous, my starlight? I know you hold my heart in great esteem, I simply wished to repay the favor. Would you not like to leave here? Return to my chambers and let me feast on the greatest meal ever created?”

You stare down at your plate, trying to keep yourself calm.

“Let me feel you, sheathe myself in your warmth, until we both cry out in pleasure. I swear to you, I will pull the sweetest songs from your lips, over and over until the sun rises. Then we will begin again, until you beg me to stop, your pretty lips swollen and kiss-bruised, as you lay beneath me in ecstasy.” He purrs, fingers stroking your thigh.

Your heart races in your chest and you nod. “Lead the way.”

You both hastily get up from the table, and Elrond shoots a smug look at Halbrand before pressing his lips to your hand and leading you towards his chambers, fully intent on fulfilling his words.
