Κάμψη του ρυθμού ανάπτυξης της αγοράς αιολικής ενέργειας στην Ελλάδα, καταγράφει η έρευνα της  ΕΛΕΤΑΕΝ. Συνολικά η εγκατεστημένη ισχύς ανέρχεται στα 5.326 ΜW στο τέλος του πρώτου εξαμήνου, με κορυφαίους παίχτες την ΤΕΡΝΑ Ενεργειακή, την MORE και την Ibertrola Rokas. Συνολικά, οι επενδύσεις στην Αιολική Ενέργεια στην Ελλάδα διαμορφώθηκαν στα 110 εκατ. ευρώ, σε όρους νέων ανεμογεννητριών που συνδέθηκαν στο σύστημα, το πρώτο εξάμηνο του 2024. Συνολικά η ισχύς που αποδίδουν τα συνδεδεμένα αιολικά πάρκα στην Ελλάδα  ανέρχεται στα 5.326 MW. Αυτό αντιστοιχεί σε ετήσιο ρυθμό ανάπτυξης 3,7%. Το προηγούμενο έτος, 2023, αποτέλεσε το δεύτερο -μετά το 2019- καλύτερο έτος με τις περισσότερες αιολικές εγκαταστάσεις. Το πλήθος των εγκαταστάσεων που ολοκληρώθηκαν εντός του 2023, ακολουθείται από μείωση του ρυθμού αύξησης στις αρχές του 2024. Οι δρομολογημένες επενδύσεις Κατά το τέλος του Ιουνίου 2024 ήταν υπό κατασκευή ή είχαν συμβολαιοποιηθεί περί τα 970 MW νέων αιολικών πάρκων, η μεγάλη πλειοψηφία των οποίων αναμένεται να συνδεθούν στο δίκτυο εντός των επόμενων 18 μηνών. Σημειώνεται ότι όλα τα ως άνω αναφερόμενα μεγέθη αφορούν αιολική ισχύ που αποδίδεται στο δίκτυο. Οι κατασκευαστές H εικόνα για τους κατασκευαστές των ανεμογεννητριών είναι η εξής: H Vestas έχει προμηθεύσει το 45% της συνολικής αποδιδόμενης αιολικής ισχύος στην Ελλάδα.
