A few things I noticed that are distinctively different in the industry between groups of professionals is the following. One group (gate keepers) want to monetize every piece of information they possess in knowledge & experience refusing to share much about: INVENTORY SUPPLIERS PROTOCOLS RESOURCES THE ACTUAL NAMES OF PRODUCTS The second group (legacy building enterprises) are freely sharing information. These are normal practices implemented: SUBRENTING PRICING MODELS SHARING SUPPLIERS INSURANCE RESOURCES REFERS OUT TO OTHERS IN THE INDUSTRY PUBLICIZES PRODUCT SOURCES (in preparation to have other companies to collaborate with and source from when higher volumes of the inventory is needed to meet a client's demand) Have you noticed that you have to be scarce in what you can do design wise with certain preferred inventory?
