Responsibilities:

Independently Compile financial information required to prepare complete financial statements including P&L, Cash Flow Statements, and Balance Sheet.

Monitor and track property income, ensure timely collection of rental receipts, and coordinate with counterparts in companies with shared properties to receive information in a timely manner & reconcile with bank deposits.

Monitor and maintain records using the company’s property management software from time to time.

Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.

Prepare management reports: occupancy, accounts receivable, and reports related to properties and projects of the company.

Handle all general accounting and finance transactions for Group entities as assigned.

Ensure that all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Establish and monitor the implementation of clear and effective accounting control procedures and enhance performance and efficiency thereof.

Coordinate with external auditors to ensure the successful completion of yearly financial audits.

Interact with suppliers, banks, and all external parties for payments and financial transactions for regular activities and ongoing projects.

Handle petty cash or such similar responsibilities from time to time as assigned.

Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.

Assist the Senior Accountant.

Create custom reports using Yardi.

Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.

Complete end of month close procedures.

Prepare and assist in corporate reporting requirements.

Any other job-related tasks as required by management.

Susan Doniz to Join Boeing as CIO / SVP IT and Data Analytics

Boeing has appointed Susan Doniz as the company's chief information officer and senior vice president of Information Technology & Data Analytics, effective in May 2020. Susan will report to Boeing President and CEO David Calhoun, serve on the company's Executive Council and be based in Chicago.

"Susan is a proven, customer-focused technology leader with extensive global experience across multiple industries, including commercial aviation," said Calhoun. "She brings deep insight and skills to digital transformation, data analytics and artificial intelligence – all essential to our long-term growth strategy as well as our continuous drive for operational and safety excellence. She brings as well a passion for STEM education and diversity and inclusion." Susan will succeed Vishwa Uddanwadiker, who has served in an interim capacity since October 2019. "I'd also like to thank Vishwa for stepping in to take on this assignment during an important time for Boeing and for his support during this transition," added Calhoun. "Vishwa demonstrated tremendous leadership, and we look forward to his continued significant contributions to the company." Susan joins Boeing from Qantas, where she has served as Group CIO since January 2017. UAE Eases Long-Term Residency Rules for Business Executives

(Bloomberg) — The United Arab Emirates said foreign executive directors will be eligible for long-term residency permits if they earn a monthly salary of 30,000 dirhams, in a sign the Gulf nation is easing regulations to ensure sustained growth in the economy.

Applicants will also need a bachelor’s degree and no less than five years of work experience to apply for a 10-year residency visa, according to a presentation by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship seen by Bloomberg. The news was first reported by Gulf News.

The move indicates further opening in a country where 80% of the population is made up of foreign expatriates, some of whom have lived in the UAE for decades with no long-term residency guarantee. A recently introduced residency law was criticized for mostly offering rights to millionaires.

“The 10-year visa would increase the propensity for expatriates to save and invest in the UAE given the outlook for longer-term residency, and we would expect strong demand for the visas,” said Monica Malik, chief economist at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

Executive directors seeking the visa would need to present a valid work contract and must show health insurance for himself and dependents during that entire visa period, according to the presentation.

The offer is being made under the so-called “Golden Card” program announced earlier this year, which restricts the total number of 10-year visas for 2019 at 6,800. That “relatively limited” number will cap the benefits for the economy, Malik said.

The ‘Manager Projects & Portfolio management’ is responsible for designing, delivering, and subsequently managing the Product & Guest Experience product portfolio. The role will include designing the framework and processes to deliver a best practice product portfolio management solution.

The role will be aligned to one key business objective: to ensure all products and associated product-impacting projects are conceived, delivered, tracked, and challenged in line with the strategic objectives of business and the Commercial agenda, and ensuring the portfolio delivers value and forecasted benefits (incremental Net Promotor Score, forecasted revenue, cost savings).

The incumbent will need to develop and maintain robust relationships with all parts of the business, including within Guest Experience, the wider Commercial Organization and delivery and support functions such as Operations, IT, HR, PMO, etc. to ensure that all product touchpoints and impacts are mapped and developed to enable successful product performance and a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

To be successful, the incumbent will:

Apply stakeholder management tools and techniques to engage product portfolio stakeholders at all levels, including strategy (executive) to execution (subject matter experts) across all impacted departments

Apply project management methodology to design, plan, and execute delivery of a product portfolio solution (including support technology)

The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) has appointed Jeff Chiang as Chief Operating Officer. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Politics and History from the University of Toronto and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University of Hong Kong, Jeff was a solicitor in a Hong Kong law firm before his switch into business aviation. He remains a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and currently holds a valid practicing certificate as well as a New Zealand Private Pilot’s License.

Jeff started his business aviation career with Asia Jet’s aircraft charter team and soon after became involved with aircraft management sales.
