{ owen patrick joyner, cis male, he/him } have you heard that ( cale tucker ) from ( titan a.e. ) appeared in town?  i know, i can’t believe it either.  he is ( 22 ) years old and is a ( mechanic ).  I’ve heard that he has a tendency to be ( charming &&. charismatic ) and ( cynical &&. close-minded ), and he has ( some ) of his old memories.

cale james tucker, born in the year 3028 to military man sam and waitress danielle, is from pierce, colorado. when he was two, his mother developed a serious infection in her blood, which ultimately killed her. he doesn’t remember much about his mom and so grew very close to his dad over the years.

at the age of four and a half, his planet was destroyed by a very hostile race called the drej, who wanted to make sure that all human life was ended so that they could be the superior race. his father, who was assigned to hide a ship called the titan, made it out, but they never saw each other again. the only reminder cale had of his father was a gold ring that sam had given to him before he left.

cale lived on a planet called vusstra with tek, an alien who was like a second father to him after losing sam, and they soon had to leave due to cale getting into trouble numerous times. they traveled to tau-14, and cale ended up getting a job collecting scrap from the junkyard of the planet, which wasn’t always easy, as he and the other aliens would butt heads due to his cocky attitude.

after a fight with two aliens, firrikash and po, he met joseph korso, who was docked on the planet along with akima, whom cale had caught a glimpse of. they were the only two humans who cale had met in a long time, and after the reveal that korso knew sam, and he’d unlocked the ring’s secret, which was a genetically encoded map that could tell them where the titan was hidden, the blond had finally felt that there was hope for the human race, an idea that he’d long abandoned.

cale and akima became close during the venture to find the titan, and he also met stith, preed, and gune. after being captured by the drej along with akima, and after seeing akima be jettisoned away from him, he was determined to escape back to the valkyrie. he was successful in escaping after stealing a drej stinger and was reunited with the group.

shortly thereafter, he and akima were heading to trade off some valuables to a drifter colony, new bangkok, when they learned of korso’s scheme to give away the titan to the drej in order to get rich. cale, after angrily confronting him, ran away with akima, but not before she got injured.

a couple of hours later, after healing up, akima joined cale in fixing up a ship on new bangkok and headed off for the andali nebula, where the titan was hidden. they learned that the titan was created to build a new home for humans after earth was destroyed, but before they could activate it, korso and preed showed up and attempted to stop them.

the drej soon showed up, and cale had to fix a breaker that was malfunctioning, preventing the titan from being powered. he was rescued by korso after being pinned by a fallen drej stinger, and they both made it to where the breaker was, but after fixing it, cale had to go back to the titan alone and power it up using his ring. the titan used the drej’s energy beams to reactivate, thus defeating them and creating a new earth.

cale remembers everything up to korso’s betrayal, but after that, everything is a haze or draws a blank.
