Rainbow Megamix :: Help Needed!

The Rainbow Megamix Mini Project has been going officially for a week now and it keeps growing with each show looking incredible, the rainbows flying during All This Time and SIBWAWC. Every volunteer reports how excited people are to wave their rainbows during those songs and the flags are always gone incredibly quickly, giving them a rush of excitement and happiness seeing them fly high after.

The project has already been an amazing success, but we still need your help!

We have one show that as of now does not have any volunteers to help pass out flags that we will send to you! If you are attending the show in Hollywood, Florida and are willing to be of assistance, please let us know! You can find all of the up to date volunteer information here, and if you're willing to volunteer for any of the other upcoming fitfwt shows, please reach out. We would love to have you! Temperatures will reach above 110ºF/ 44ºC

There is an 'Excessive Heat Warning' for the entire weekend!

Major Heat Risk due to dangerously hot temperatures will occur.

Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those vulnerable or participating in outdoor activities.

YOU MUST drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air- conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on each other. Nobody should be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. This is especially true because car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

The Chelsea is located on Level 3 of The Cosmopolitan Hotel, next to the elevators (see maps below)

If you're under 18 you're not allowed on the casino floor.

The venue accepts cash and card.

Parking: Parking available at The Cosmopolitan Hotel ($20-23). If you're a guest staying at the hotel, parking is free. Nevada residents with valid Nevada drivers license receive complimentary parking for 3 hours. Info here.

Las Vegas recap!!

Kind of going backwards on this one! The show was so much fun!! You could feel the floor bouncing below you. The venue was super cool and we ended up being on the safe a bit with a bunch of room to dance!

I’m bummed he didn’t sing Common People or Holding onto Heartache (which is my song at the moment 😩)

From his tweet I was expecting a little bit of a messier vibe from him/the band but I’m also thinking he had too much fun earlier 🙃

Okay… a mini rant. The whole pre-show lining up was a disaster. The venue made it super clear that there were so fan lines and then fans created them anyways. When we first go to the venue (maybe 30 mins before) there was a huge mob of people and they weren’t even letting hotel guests through. We ended up going to the back of the line and grabbing drinks and just hanging out. Randomly people from the front would come to the back of the line and yell at everyone to move back (in a not so nice way) because it was too crowded at the front and security was getting upset. Like it wasn’t the back of the lines fault that the front of the line was overcrowded. Maybe follow the rules and don’t start a line in the first place. The communication was awful because at one point everyone was being told to go to the second floor or move away from the venue or else it would be cancelled so we did and then the line stayed anyway. It was just a mess!

But none of that mattered once we were inside! We just had so so so much fun dancing the night away with Louis!

Rainbow Megamix :: Las Vegas

After two incredible nights at the Greek in Berkeley and the Hollywood Bowl in LA, Louis is taking on Las Vegas at the Chelsea! It’s sure to be another incredible night and we are ready to see him make another stage his own.

Tonight’s show is also the first since the mini-project started that we do not have a volunteer to hand out flags, which means we are relying on everyone at the show to provide their own when possible! We hope there will still be a wonderful showing of flags dancing along in the (rainbow!) lights of All This Time and SIBWAWC, but so much depends on whether people know about the project and helping spread the word! Please help us boost the information here on tumblr, but also on your other socials. We already have a tweet and IG post to make things easier on those platforms.

Thank you to everyone who has participated so far and helped make every venue feel like a safe space! We hope the rainbow dance party will continue tonight and can’t wait to see Louis surrounded by lights either way.
