Rae knew Icarus wasn’t lying when they said that Fable wasn’t there, he knew that even though Fable showed up halfway through their conversation, that they weren’t lying when they said he wasn’t there, because Icarus said things that they wouldn’t have said in font of Fable, and acted in ways that they wouldn’t have acted in front of Fable

Rae saw how quickly Icarus’ behavior changed when Fable showed up,

And he knows that if Fable was around they would have been more hostile

He knows that they would have tried better to hide how broken they are

He knows that they wouldn’t have asked him if he was okay after the fight

He knows that they wouldn’t have laughed at Aax’s joke

Anyways Headconnon time of Quixis will dance around in the world port with the music from the brown world, it's something to do when waiting for one to wake up and something to distract them from the decay.

I know we talk a lot about little gestures of lover here in the Fable community so here's a few more:

Momboo's the type of person to have a complete tone shift when someone (mainly her kids) are hurt. Like voice goes down like 70%, hand held out as a form of comfort if the person needs it, etc

Those who have their wings on a lot get "phantom wings" when they're off (not painful- idk how to describe it. They feel the weight on their back and all).

Additionally, these people who wear their wings a lot also tend to wrap them around those they are hugging/cuddling

Rae uses his tail to tickle Caspian's belly when they're sitting together

Whenever the polycule sleeps on the big couch it is a mess of limbs- Ocie half against the couch, half against Centross with Jerry's head in her lap, Centross mainly against the couch but leaning a bit on Wolf, who is cuddling up to Rae who has Aax across both him and Caspian, Aax's head in Rae's lap, tail around Caspian's leg. Rae's tail is curled around Caspian, who is tucked up next to his chest. Overall it's just a mess and a few of them end up sore from sleeping awkwardly.

Rae tried not to visit the memorial. He knew that if he went there, he'd start feeling the pain of losing her all over again, and he knew there were things he had to focus on. "I can grieve her once it's all over," He kept thinking. "I promised her I'd help her and I failed her. I can't fail anyone else."

And then he found his sibling standing by it, cursing it's very existence. "How could you do this, Rae?" Icarus had asked. "This isn't okay. She hurt me." They had said. Rae couldn't not hear the animosity in their voice against his mother, the hostility against them. He didn't blame them, but he also deserved a place to memorialize his parent. "She was my mother, Icarus." He had said. But to Icarus, that wasn't enough.

Icarus had attacked him there with a potion. Something that made him cough up sculk and sprout new horns and a tail. Something so vile that it made his body fight for it's life so hard it grew new bits.

He knew they didn't like it, knew when he made it that they wouldn't like it, and yet he deserved a place to keep her memories alive. She deserved it too, even if she had made bad decisions.

So, fearing that the spot would be blown up, like how the memorials of the bodies in the Endstone reset Strongholds had been, he started visiting it more. At first he'd try and see it from his windows, but that hadn't eased his mind. So instead he went closer, and closer. And eventually, one time, he decided to sit there.

And then he talked. "Hey mom..." He started with a simple greeting, "Well.. dead.. mom." It felt crazy, talking to an empty grave, a full ground instead of a hollow one, and yet... it was helping. "I wish you were still here..."

"I wish I could've been more of a son to you."

Random things at the thrift store that remind me of different Fable characters

I feel like most of these would be in the most random places, that first one also reminds me of like a heart of the sea!

Honestly most things here are Ocie coded so take mugs

^ rae, definitely says hes drinking tea but we all know its coffee

^ Oscar, he made it and Ocie cried a little bit

^ Momboo / Athena, while Momboo was sick she gave it to Athena as a present so they'd still have a piece of her (i made angst out of a MUG bro-)

^ Caspian, he made it in the first reset and it kept glitching in, probably only holds plants on the windowsill but it's still pretty (almost bought this one)

^ Ocie, it reminds me of the mug she had during the masquerade

Finally a floating man i think Icarus would enjoy a lot

Just for the giggles ick would have him at their desk even if it makes no sense (if this is a religion thing just ignore that, its just silly)

How Icarus says that he has and how they say that they’re glad Enderian has been trying to help Rae at least a little

How Rae tells Icarus that he loves them and how they tell him that he has a lot of that (love)

How they talk about what they remember and how upset Rae gets over them not having remembered that they were siblings
