I think that Rook's thought process is completely valid. They did the responsible thing, and they don't want the kits to know because they don't want them to feel unwanted. That's more mature than a lot of people could be.

had a dream a new cat came to the clan named Chumtail and you loved chumtail but so many readers hated chumtail and you kept trying to make people be at least civil in their hate cause it was getting you down and chumtail was just a silly kitty it was a very weird dream, there was nothing notable about chumtail except the hate they were like the most background background character

those are the clan founders! Scorchstar, Nettlestem, Wildfang, Oaktuft, Morningpaw, Goldenkit, & Sunkit.

Scorchstar was eventually killed by dogs, and so was Nettlestem, though at seperate times. Sunwish was murdered by Scorchstar. Morningbloom died in childbirth. Goldenstar fell off a cliff. Oaktuft died of old age. Wildfang was never really featured on the blog, she died very early on before I started recording moons, but she died in a rogue attack.

oh 100%. i think he and Wolfstar have a very interesting relationship--especially with the whole Bearspring conflict too, as i imagine she probably didn't apologize to Wolf like she did to Marsh. Marshjump isn't a Timid cat per se but he's rather passive, and I think his personality meshes well with Wolfstar's more forward approach to things. i think they're good friends, especially after Wolfstar killed Ravenstar, but he'll always have this feeling that he Owes Her Something. Wolfstar does have some self-sacrificing tendencies, especially now that she has lives to spare, so I think she very much doesnt believe he owes her shit, though she's not open enough about her feelings to say that to him ever
