I’ve been going back through my old digital art and redrawing some of it for funsies. The first distinct era is ✨Cats with Anime Hair. Like a lot of animal-loving “art” kids, I was obsessed with Warrior Cats. I mostly drew cringey OCs and unsolicited catsonas of my friends and I. I got my first copy of Photoshop from my middle school computer teacher and the rest is history.

These old drawings date back to early 2010s. The Flametooth (lol) one was my first ever digital drawing according to the DeviantArt description, and the Icestar one was the first pic I posted on DA. I believe they were all drawn with a mouse except pic 4. I don't think I got a tablet until a few years later.

     Yoko had seen this guy in the city a couple of times throughout the past week. She hadn’t said anything, keeping her thoughts to herself but... Boy, did this guy look totally dumb or what? She’d see him walking across the street and just stop and watch, waiting for him to trip or worse. He just looked like the kind of idiot who stopped paying attention after a while and it amused her and made her unreasonably anxious for no reason.

     She found herself wondering a bit more about him as the week went on. Was he the type of person to forget to tie his shoes? Did he fall for those “Made ya look” pranks? How easy would it be to trick him in general..? Yoko couldn’t stop thinking about it.. She had to talk to him. She had to start up a conversation with him for one purpose... She just wanted to mess with him. And maybe, somewhere deep, deep down, Yoko wanted to get to know him better as well.

    So that following week, when Yoko saw the fellow red-head, she walked up to him. “I’ve seen you around here quite a bit recently.” She stated, taking a better look at his features now that she was standing nearby. Walking up to people in this city had become a bad habit of her’s; it’s how she made a lot of friends.. But at the same time, Yoko realized it was sort of a weird social-interaction. She flashed a smile, wondering just how weird she must look to this stranger.

     Wandering around at night probably wasn’t the best idea when you were new in a place, injured, and well.. Not in the best state of mind. She stumbled through some alleyways, shivering. Her outfit wasn’t exactly the best for the season. She would’ve had something better on if-- Well, she didn’t want to think about it right now.

     Her teeth chattered and she held her arms close to herself. She desperately wanted to find a place to at least go into for a bit, but it seemed that everything was closed. She eventually just couldn’t go on anymore, her body protesting with every step. Jessica resigned to sitting down in front of a store, pulling her knees up to her chest.

“God, who knew that a simple meetup would have ended up like this..?

     Not even a day ago, she was up at Blackwood Pines with her friends. The whole night had gone wrong, however. Wendigos, pranks going too far, death... It was all so bad.
