GUESS WHO'S BACK ?

I played my first game of D&D and it was so much fun.

This is Pippin (formally Azlin, because I originally panic named her after my cat) my halfling rogue. She’s a crybaby and terrified of the unknown/anything outside her routine. She also steals silverware from taverns to trade for food and has a pet hamster named Sir Fluffyton who she believes to be a cursed knight.

Thus far her adventures has her terrified she’s in trouble after being caught sneaking out of a tavern, picking up a strange knife because ‘shinies’ and then throwing it away (narrowly missing another player) when she thinks it’s cursed.

Elesis blinks.

Just what happened here?

Her eyes go wide as she kneels on the floor. “No… Sir Fluffyton…” She whispers, picking up her most loyal companion’s broken corpse.

Lo and behold, there is a banana driven deep into his chest, his insides beginning to spill out.

Tears begin to well up at the corners of Elesis’ eyes. “You can’t be dead,” she sniffles, cradling him in her arms. “Oh…”

There’s a crash as a book crashes to the ground. Elesis doesn’t recall having purchased a copy of “How to Make Friends” by Dale Carnegie, but it doesn’t matter now. Dame Grandiosa’s beautiful porcelain face has been ruined by the accursed book.

Now shaking all over, Elesis scoots over and picks up her other fallen companion, holding them both close to her. “Please come back,” she sobs.

And then she sees the broken body of Maplehoof, her trusted steed. Crushed to death by potatoes, those terrible tubers.

Elesis sinks to the ground, shaking all over with sobs. They can’t be dead, this must be some terrible, horrible reality, they can’t be real, they have to be alternative facts or something…

Elsword smirks as he steps off the stool he was using to look into her room. Revenge is sweet, he thinks, especially when you pull out your trump card.
