How's Tempestmask doing? It's been a bit since we last heard of 'em. And more importantly, how do they feel about Foolpaw now seeing how he's grown over the moons? Have they tried to reconnect with him since then or has Tempestmask just kept their distance?

Doyalist response is Tempestmask is both bad and good! Now that Foolfeather is an adult, Tempest isn't nearly as scary, and he's able to see him as... sort of the sad old man that he is. Foolfeather has a really kind heart, and just really wants Tempestmask to get his shit together.

Tempestmask is incredibly competent worker, and good with getting other people talking about their feelings (not by choice, people just sort of dump on him), but getting in touch with his own feelings and opening up the raw wound of the relationship with his son is another bull to ride entirely. He has a hard time expressing it, but he is super proud of everything Foolfeather has done, and feels incredible guilt for abandoning him and causing him so much strife. Now that Foolfeather is older, Tempestmask is able to look at him and Not see the living embodiment of his heartbreak, but instead the skilled and clever cat foolfeather's become.

little of both! Coldstep doesn't like many other cats in general, and knows exactly how to push Yarrowblooms buttons 😈
