The Sanctification process
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
We cannot say “i believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God” and think we are save, there is a second step. Thousands of people in the world believe Jesus is the Son of God but do not obey His commands at all nor are interested to follow Him faithfully. When we accept Jesus Christ into our heart and the Father freely forgives our sins, that is only the first step. The second step determines if our soul will be saved at the end; we have to go through the sanctification process. This step is done with our participation with the Holy Spirit; it is the path which will lead us to bear fruit of the Holy Spirit and be transformed from the inside out a little bit every day and it is a lifetime process.
Jesus warned us that He is the vine, we are the branches and a branch that does not yield fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire.
I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.
John 15:1‭-‬8 amp
How do we dwell in Jesus? By obeying His is every command. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love.
John 15:9‭-‬10 ampc
The sanctification process is nothing to be afraid of;. through the Holy will help us and we get in bonus the peace and joy that pass understanding. But that process is necessary to be saved. We are called to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ :
Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Philippians 2:12‭-‬13 ampc
The moment we think we know all that God has to offer and we understand everything we have a problem. We must always desire and ask to be transformed more. It is a life long process. The sanctification process does not happen in a month. And we can’t go through it on our own timing either, God only knows when we are ready to learn some things. Therefore we must offer ourselves to God every day and submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit.

Good Morning World Daily Devotionals for April 26, 2023 Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 15:5(KJV): 5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. Proverbs 15:5(Amp): 5 A fool despises his father's instruction and correction, but he who regards reproof acquires prudence.
Thought for the Day
If we love our earthly fathers, we respect and obey them. As adults, we are grateful that they disciplined us out of love and protection. These things are true not only of our relationships with our natural fathers but also of our heavenly Father. To enter the Kingdom of God, we must have a child-like heart of trust, knowing that He loves us far more than any earthly father could and that His instructions are for our good. We are blessed when we remain teachable, with child-like faith, and yield to our Father's correction. "But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein" (Luke 18:16-17).
Jesus is our supreme example of obedience, desiring to please His Father at all times. He never did anything except what His Father desired Him to do. He was obedient to the point of death, yielding Himself to the cross. The sacrifice of the perfectly obedient Son of God made it possible to save many disobedient sons.
Obedience is evidence that we are true disciples of Christ. Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). For most Christians, learning submission to Our Father's will is the hardest lesson to learn, but if we rebel at His leading, we will suffer for our disobedience. God never wants us to be hurt or suffer at Satan's hand, but if we disobey God, we may reap the consequences of our sins. The Bible gives numerous warnings that obedience brings blessing and disobedience leads to destruction: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it" (Isaiah 1:18-20).
Cleansing and forgiveness are available to us when we come to Christ. Our sins, which have left a deep stain upon our souls, will be forgiven and our souls cleansed. As new creatures in Christ, we are made as white as snow. Many suffer under the burden of guilt for their sins. This is unnecessary, because "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness..." (1 John 1:9-10 AMP).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your Son to die for my sins. I may not ever understand a love like that, but I am eternally grateful for it. I also appreciate Your hand of correction in my life when I fail. I know without it; I would have gone astray and the enemy would have destroyed me. Lord, help us to be obedient to Your will. Give us a greater desire to serve You and others. Keep us from the evil one and his temptations. Bless our loved ones and keep them in Your hand. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Daily Devotional for December 13, 2022
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living Devotional Scripture: Proverbs 30:17 (KJV): 17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
Proverbs 30:17 (AMP): 17 The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother, the ravens of the valley will pick it out, and the young vultures will devour it.
  Thought for the Day
The penalty for mocking and scorning one's parents was grim in the Old Testament. It carried the death penalty. The Israelites were careful to bury their dead. A body left unburied for birds to feed upon indicated an ignoble death, such as by violence or execution. Vultures picking an eye out of a dead body is what Agur seemed to be referring to as the result of dishonoring one's parents; for such a sin leads to other sins, exposing one to all the dangers of an evil life. Implicit in this proverb is the truth that though one may escape the punishment of man for dishonoring one's parents, one will not escape God's.
The Bible stresses that children are to respect their parents. It is so important to God, that He made it one of the Ten Commandments: "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee" (Exodus 20:12).
God gave other laws that charged Israel to deal very strongly with rebellious children in the Old Testament. The penalty for striking or cursing one's parents had the same penalty as for adultery or murder; the guilty party was to be stoned to death. "And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death. …And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death" (Exodus 21:15,17). It was a serious offense before God. The word for "curseth" in Hebrew is "halal," meaning "to bring into contempt, curse, despise." Belittling or mocking one's parents is a serious offense to God. Even if there is nothing about them that commands respect, we must refrain from speaking reviling words against them. Children with unholy parents should pray for them and ask God to change them. This is especially important for young people to understand. We are to bless our parents and speak respectfully to them and of them. Praise God, that under the New Testament law, children can find mercy and forgiveness if they have been rebellious to their parents. Spiritually dishonoring parents can result in spiritual blindness and even spiritual death unless rebellious children repent.
The Old Testament law often sounds extreme to our modern ears because our culture is so lenient about rebellion and even glamorizes it. It would help society to better enforce punishment for crimes that are directed against those in positions of authority. These punishments would be an example to cause those bent on evil to fear and respect the laws. It would work for everyone's good, especially the young. Those who honor their parents and elders seldom come to the evil end that Agur depicted. Prayer for the Day I honor You as my heavenly Father and gladly submit unto You, trusting You in all things. Please remove any trace of rebellion from my heart. I also honor my natural parents and my spiritual parents. Lord, I desire to always be respectful to the church elders and the authorities that You have designated on earth. Deliver me from any anger against those in authority, and if I have been wronged by any of them, I am trusting that You will properly deal with them. I want to have a heart that is submissive and trusting and free from all rebellion. I humbly ask this in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.

I believe we as a Church have developed a very dangerous habit. We have gotten in the habit of, in the face of controversial issues, SAYING, “Well God couldn’t REALLY think this is bad,” instead of ASKING God, “What am I missing that explains why You say this is bad?” We lean more and more on our own understanding, which is heavily influenced by the world, instead of seeking God’s truth.
Lying, cheating, sexual sins, rage, gossip, grudges, etc. - we underestimate how toxic and destructive these things are when we allow them a hold in our lives, because we stop at our own understanding instead of seeking God’s perfect, omniscient insight. We can’t immediately SEE the link between our sins and our mental illnesses, or broken relationships, or struggles with anger and impatience and lust, or simply (but most tragically) our growing distance from the God who wants to save and heal us from the damage our sins cause us. We ignore all the many examples of God developing the strongest, most admirable character and discipline in His servants THROUGH the trials they went through, and instead we claim that God couldn’t possibly want anything more for us than a soft, easy life without conflict. We set our social issues up as gods and assume that what we feel in our hearts will always guide us true, ignoring all the times our hearts have betrayed us.
And because we are the Church, we mislead those around us into believing by our actions that because WE accept these things, GOD accepts these things. We weaken ourselves and weaken others who can even less afford to be weakened. Worse still, we fight and claw at each other for the RIGHT to have our weak, worldly thinking that leads others into sin. We hurt instead of working with each other, and then we wonder why people claim Christians don’t look any different (or look worse) than everyone else.
This is not a condemnation. This is a plea from one weak Christian to another. We NEED to set aside our own desires - desires driven by emotion, bodily functions, desire for acceptance, and fear of conflict - and seek wisdom from God in His Word. The World needs to see Christ and see their need for salvation, and God wants to show them this truth THROUGH us, rather than us blocking the path for others like the Pharisees did.
Please join me in praying that we as a Church will wake up and see the damage we are doing, and rediscover the love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, justice, and compassion that are inherent in God’s truth.
——
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
- Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
- James 1:2-4 NIV
“If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].”
- James 1:5-8 AMP
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.”
- Jesus, Matthew 23:13, 15, 27-28 NIV
“Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?”
“They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
“Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. ‘Make level paths for your feet,’ so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.”
- Hebrews 12:7, 10-13 NIV

Today's Daily Encounter 19th May 2022
Using our Success for God's Glory: Lydia
"And when she was baptized, along with her household, she pleaded with us, saying, 'If you have judged me and decided that I am faithful to the Lord [a true believer], come to my house and stay.' And she persuaded us."1
Lydia was a businesswoman, an entrepreneur. She was knowledgeable and skillful in her craft. Her business was successful and profitable (Acts 16:14). She owned, and was the head of, her own home. It is likely that she owned slaves who worked under her (Acts 16:15). She was respected and was considered a prominent citizen in her community. But, more than this, she was a faithful follower of Christ.
Paul and Silas met Lydia by the riverbank in the middle of a woman's prayer meeting (Acts 16:13). It could have been that she was leading the meeting for she was the only woman named. However, she was immediately open to the words of these missionaries and she and her household were all baptized. She then opened her home for them to stay as long as they needed to. Later, her home served as the church for the believers in Phillipi.
Lydia didn't allow her successful status to keep her from being a humble servant of the Lord, and when opportunity presented itself, she was eager to give of what she had to help build the Lord's ministry. Lydia is an example to both women and men today who make their work and successes a priority ahead of their relationship with the Lord. Lydia is briefly mentioned in Scripture, but the lesson the Lord wants us to learn from this strong and competent person is great. If God is gracious enough to bless us with success, then we can, in turn, use that success to glorify God and further His kingdom. Let us, like Lydia, be judged "Faithful to the Lord"!
Suggested Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, what a powerful lesson we can learn from Lydia. She loved you first and you made her great in your kingdom and among men. Give me the desire to use the gifts you've given me to honor you. Allow me to be found faithful to you! In Jesus' loving name, Amen.1. Acts 16:15 (Amplified Bible - AMP).

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, and I ask You to forgive me of anything I have done that could displease You in any way. I ask You to cover me with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and fill me with Your Holy Spirit & Fire. Cause my thoughts to be Your thoughts, my desires Your desires, my will Your will, and put a guard across my mouth that I can say no more or no less than You would have me say. Keep me on the path that You have laid out for me today, and show me satan's tactics in advance.
I acknowledge the whole armor of God. I pray that every thought that satan or any of his kingdom tries to put in my mind will bounce off the helmet of salvation and return to the sender. Heal every memory that could hold me back from being all that You want me to be. I recognize that I have on the breastplate of righteousness, my loins are girded with the truth and my feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. I take up the sword of the spirit and the shield of faith.
Now, for myself and all the people I am going to refer to, I ask You to draw us to Yourself, convict us mightily of our sins, keep us from temptation, deliver us from evil and cover us with the Blood of Jesus. Dispatch angels (and I now dispatch them) to keep us from any kind of accidents, harm, injuries, illness, death, destruction, disease, pain or infection.
Bind our marriages together and make us one in You. Bind our families together and make us one in You. If there is anyone in our lives that You do not approve of, I ask You to move them out and move in the people that You do approve of. Bless every bite of food we eat, the air we breathe and let it help us and not hurt us. Bless our finances and give us as much as we can handle without sinning against You.
Now, satan, I come against you and your entire kingdom and I declare, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, that you cannot and will not have any part in my life or the lives of the people I refer to, in any way shape or form. You can have nothing to do( with our minds, bodies, souls, spirits, emotions and wills; our marriages, finances, friendships, acquaintances and fellowships; our homes, schools, workplaces and places of recreation; our transportation, or any vehicle that could come close to us; or any decision that is made concerning anyone of us. (Now call out the name of every person that you pray for daily.)
For every person I have referred to, I now break every curse, spell and hex that may have been put out against anyone of us. I break the power of any curse from a witch, warlock or satanist; every santerian curse, roots curse, Indian curse, voodoo curse, and curse of words spoken, or anything written or any objects. I reverse the curse and send it back to the demon that brought it in the first place, AND I COMMAND THAT DEMON TO GO BOUND INTO UNINHABITED DRY PLACES IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I break every ungodly emotional soul tie that is connected to any of us, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus and through His Precious living blood, I bind and sever every cord of any prince or principality, any strong man and every spirit of darkness over my house at (your address). I put a Jesus Christ bloodline in between each one of you and I cut off your communications, confuse your camp, render you inactive, and cast you out, in Jesus' Name.
I bind and cast out every spirit of poverty, lack, confusion, cloudiness, mind binding, selfishness, anxiety, and procrastination. I bind and cast out every spirit of fear, heaviness, jealousy, bondage, whoredom, lying, perversion, slumber and infirmity. I plead the blood of Jesus around the property line, above the roof, and below the foundation of my home, and I bind you, satan, and your entire kingdom from crossing the bloodline. I command you for myself and the people I have just referred to, that you can have nothing to do with us or any aspect of our lives in any way, shape or form! I now call on God's warring angels to make it happen. I SEAL THIS In THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS I PRAY, AMEN!

well, it seems as if yesterday was a time of weeping.  i don't know what was going on in the spirit world but it must have been something.  i was weeping all day long.  often, for no apparent reason, i would just start crying.  all i know is, it was not for myself.  no one likes to spend their day in tears, but i was privileged to know that God would share His tears with me.
perhaps they were tears needed to water a new birth into the kingdom.  there could be many reasons.  we obey without knowing now, the reason behind it.  "passing through the Valley of weeping (baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings."  psa 84:6 amp
what does our precious word say?  "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."  psa 30:5  how can we restrain ourselves from joy when we know we have been redeemed?  free and yet we willing submit ourselves to servitude.  "but if the servant shall plainly say, i love my master, my wife, and my children; i will not go free."  exo 21:5  then it is said they are to pierce his ear and he will be the master's servant for life.  has your ear been pierced for your master?  are you unwillingly to leave?
slavery in america was a horrible thing.  slavery throughout the world was.  but can we pay for the sins of our fathers?  it is burden enough to pay for one's own sin.  will payment for another's be required of us?  not so according to the word.  "fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin."  deut 24:16  yet, this is the dichotomy that life in Jesus brings.  to be forgiven, one must forgive.  to really be free, one must submit their will to His.  to save one's life, they must lose it.
this certainly was not in my plans of writing about this day.  i thought it was to be about forgiveness.  then again, maybe God has tied all this together brilliantly, as usual.  we can all spend out lives feeling used and abused; neglected or ignored.  or we can decide to forgive those who have hurt and wounded us and feel sympathy for those who persist in such things.  "but if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."  rom 12:20  the coals of fire being the receipt for their deeds coming due.
i cannot begin to imagine the torments that some blacks have gone through.  even now the prejudice remains in the hearts of some.  i am old enough to remember when there were separate drinking fountains for blacks and whites.  and yes, they were required to sit at the back of the bus.  perhaps it was even worse in some parts of the world.  it was the slave trader, john newton, that penned the song "amazing grace".  but neither can i imagine the torment and fear a young child feels as they are being abused; physically, mentally or sexually.
just because i cannot know your torment doesn't mean i cannot feel your pain.  it certainly doesn't mean that God wasn't there to see your pain.  they will, in the end, receive their judgements.  now, the primary thing in those with bitterness, is to get them set free.  free from the invisible wounds that influence their every action.  freedom requires forgiveness.
honestly, i do not know yet if i would be able to forgive someone who had grievously injured me.  no one ever has.  at least to the extent that it affected me.  i just know, it is the hurts that wound us deepest, they are the ones we must give to Him.  lay all those feelings of hurt and hatred at the cross.  if we all really ready to release it, He will release us.  we must keep confessing it until it becomes truth.  keep acting as though things were the same until it is no longer an act.
we do this knowing there is a righteous judge at the bench.  how would we desire Him to rule on our own misdeeds?  "do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."  gal 6:7  i speak not for others, but for myself.  i would rather have my sins forgiven, than to retain the sins of another.  Jesus took their sins upon the cross as much as He did mine.  what an overwhelming idea.
whenever we start to think that we are "special" in some way, He will certainly humble us to know that we are only forgiven.  has He not said, "so the last will be first, and the first last.”  matt 20:16  "but by the grace of God i am what i am."  1 cor 15:10
we all stand only by grace, and grace is freely given.  as He has given to me, so must we all give to others.  would you know His peace?  "peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."  john 14:27  i pray you all will dwell in the peace He offers.

Genesis 3:1-10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Fall of Man
3 Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And [a]the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, “Can it really be that God has said, ‘You shall not eat from [b]any tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden, 3 except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God said, ‘You shall not eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die! 5 For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is, you will have greater awareness], and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.” 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband [c]with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of the two of them were opened [that is, their awareness increased], and they knew that they were naked; and they fastened fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool [afternoon breeze] of the day, so the man and his wife hid and kept themselves hidden from the [d]presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to Adam, and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 He said, “I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
1 John 1:8-9 NLT
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But i f we confess our sins to him, He is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE us our sins and to CLEANSE us from ALL wickedness.
Genesis 3:14-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 The Lord God said to the serpent,
“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all the cattle,
And more than any animal of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And dust you shall eat
All the days of your life.
15
“And I will put enmity (open hostility)
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed (offspring) and her [a]Seed;
He shall [fatally] bruise your head,
And you shall [only] bruise His heel.”
16 To the woman He said,
“I will greatly multiply
Your pain in childbirth;
In pain you will give birth to children;
Yet your desire and longing will be for your husband,
And he will rule [with authority] over you and be responsible for you.”
17 Then to Adam the Lord God said, “Because you have listened [attentively] to the voice of your wife, and have eaten [fruit] from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’;
The ground is [now] under a curse because of you;
In sorrow and toil you shall eat [the fruit] of it
All the days of your life.
18
“Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you;
And you shall eat the plants of the field.
19
“By the sweat of your face
You will eat bread
Until you return to the ground,
For from it you were taken;
For you are dust,
And to dust you shall return.”
20 The man named his wife Eve (life spring, life giver), because she was the mother of all the living. 21 The Lord God made tunics of [animal] skins for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
Genesis 4:8-16 Amplified Bible (AMP)
8 Cain talked with Abel his brother [about what God had said]. And when they were [alone, working] in the field, Cain [a]attacked Abel his brother and killed him.
9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he [lied and] said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” 10 The Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s [innocent] blood is crying out to Me from the ground [for justice]. 11 And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s [shed] blood from your hand. 12 When you cultivate the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength [it will resist producing good crops] for you; you shall be a fugitive and a vagabond [roaming aimlessly] on the earth [in perpetual exile without a home, a degraded outcast].” 13 Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, You have driven me out this day from the face of the land; and from Your face (presence) I will be hidden, and I will be a fugitive and an [aimless] vagabond on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.” 15 And the Lord said to him, “[b]Therefore, whoever kills Cain, a sevenfold vengeance [that is, punishment seven times worse] shall be taken on him [by Me].” And the Lord set a [protective] [c]mark (sign) on Cain, so that no one who found (met) him would kill him.
16 So Cain went away from the [manifested] presence of the Lord, and lived in the land of Nod [wandering in exile], east of Eden.
Exodus 34:5-7 Amplified Bible (AMP)
5 Then the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with Moses as he proclaimed the Name of the Lord. 6 Then the Lord passed by in front of him, and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth (faithfulness); 7 keeping mercy and lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; but He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting (avenging) the iniquity (sin, guilt) of the fathers upon the children and the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers].”
Psalm 99:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
8 You answered them, O Lord our God;
You were a forgiving God to them,
And yet an avenger of their evil practices.
Luke 23:34 Amplified Bible (AMP)
34 And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His clothes among themselves.

Anger, frustration, annoyance, bitterness, rage, jealousy, vindictiveness, are all feeling not producing the righteousness of God and when those feelings are present for a while they can all give a foothold for demons to start playing with our minds as the Word of God says:
When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].
Ephesians 4:26‭-‬27 amp
Unfortunately some believers do not take into consideration the severity of their actions led by those feelings, but they are very important to remember:
But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You cursed fool! [You empty-headed idiot!] shall be liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire.
Matthew 5:22 amp
The Word of God gives us many instructions on those kind of feelings
Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry. For man’s anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires].
James 1:19‭-‬20 amp
Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind).
Ephesians 4:31 ampc
But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!
Colossians 3:8 ampc
But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God’s likeness! Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.
James 3:8‭-‬10 ampc
Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released.
Luke 6:37 ampc
The Word of God also provides us with wonderful prayers to deal with our shortcomings
Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
Psalm 141:3 ampc
Yet, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand.
Isaiah 64:8 amp
Every day I ask our Lord Jesus to set a guard over upon my mouth and to keep watch at the doctor of my lips because as we are all battling with our flesh and our desire to please God it is so easy to slip in certain circumstances, especially when other people are saying hurtful things to us! The second prayer is the most important prayer for our relationship with God, and it works not only with feelings not producing the righteousness of God but it is for God to transform us into the person He wants us to be. We are all clay into the hands of God, and He is the Potter and He is the only one who can transform us from the inside out. As we pray for Him to transform us we will start reacting the way He wants us to react, situations that would ordinarily create in us negative feelings will stop affecting us badly. If we truly desire to do His will this prayer will be the one prayer we cherish the most. If we claim to love God but never change in any godly way we have a severe problem in our spiritual life. Changing according to His will requires total depandace on Him and and the will to please Him above all things. The change is rarely instantaneous but we all have to start somewhere. Blessings!!!

Amen.

Micah 7:1-20 | AMP 1 WOE IS me! For I am as when the summer fruits have been gathered, as when the vintage grapes have been gleaned and there is no cluster to eat, no first-ripe fig for which my appetite craves.2 The godly man has perished from the earth, and there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; each hunts his brother with a net.3 Both their hands are put forth and are upon what is evil to do it diligently; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters his evil desire. Thus they twist between them [the course of justice].4 The best of them is like a brier; the most upright or the straightest is like a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even of [God’s] judgment and your punishment, has come; now shall be their perplexity and confusion.5 Trust not in a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Keep the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom. 6 For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--a man’s enemies are the men (members) of his own house. 7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.8 Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteous deliverance. 10 Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, Where is the Lord your God? My eyes will see my desire upon her; now she will be trodden down as the mire of the streets.11 In the day that your walls are to be built [a day for building], in that day shall the boundary [of Israel] be far extended and the decree [against her] be far removed. 12 In that day they will come to you from Assyria and from the cities of Matzor [Egypt] and from Egypt even to the river [Euphrates], from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.13 Yet shall the earth be desolate because of those who dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.14 Rule and feed Your people with Your rod and scepter, the flock of Your inheritance who dwell alone in a forest in the midst of Carmel [a garden land]; they shall feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.15 As in the days of your coming forth from the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.16 The nations shall see [God’s deliverance] and be ashamed of all their might [which cannot be compared to His]. They shall lay their hands upon their mouths in consternation; their ears shall be deaf.17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their strongholds and close places. They shall turn and come with fear and dread to the Lord our God and shall be afraid and stand in awe because of You [O Lord]. 18 Who is a God like You, Who forgives iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retains not His anger forever, because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness.19 He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. 20 You will show Your faithfulness and perform the sure promise to Jacob and loving-kindness and mercy to Abraham, as You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Put Off the Old Man
I once knew a family who was graciously given a whole house full of new furniture. The only problem was that they were not willing to give up the old worn out and crumbling stuff that they were so used to living with. They tried to add the new to the old. But it just didn’t work. It took them awhile but finally, they let the old stuff go and went on with the new. But there was struggle. Changes to our houses can be difficult. But transformations in our personalities are even harder. They are impossible for us to accomplish. These personality changes require a true work of the Holy Spirit. A change of temperament may will require a deep surgical work by a skilled surgeon, God himself. But they also take a willingness on our part as well. God will only do what we will allow him to do. I think this is the thought behind one of my favorite chapters in the whole New Testament. Put off the old man and let the newcomer come to maturity:
  Colossians 3:1–17 (AMP)
IF THEN (or since) you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory. So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God). It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will), Among whom you also once walked, when you were living in and addicted to [such practices]. But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips! Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old (unregenerate) self with its evil practices, And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. [In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person]. Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]. And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]. And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.
As you and I read through this chapter, and it may be a bit much for many Facebook readers, just keep in your mind the need to ask ourselves: Old furniture or new furniture?
Which will it be? God’s or my own? What is my choice? What will be yours?
Lord Jesus, you are the best designer of them all. We invite you afresh and anew to do what you do best in and for our lives. Deck our lives with the splendor of your glory. Amen!!!

Speak the Desired End Result
Need a breakthrough in your finances, health, or family? Check out Kenneth Copeland’s Six I’s of Faith for Supernatural Breakthrough!
READING TIME: 8 MINUTES
Are you standing in faith for finances, healing, a spouse, children, a ministry or anything else? If so, you already know this: Standing in faith isn’t for the faint of heart. God knows receiving supernatural breakthroughs will test your resolve—that’s why He tells us to break out the spiritual armor, use His authority without abandon, and persevere until we break through to victory. Think about it.
Those are battle terms.
Praise God, it’s a battle Jesus has already won! We’re just claiming the victory and protecting the spoils from the enemy (who didn’t seem to get the memo that he lost!).
Kenneth Copeland has outlined a special tactic he and Gloria use in their battle strategy to get results. Whatever you’re going after in the spirit realm, here are some secrets for seeing a manifestation in your finances, health, relationships or any other area of promise. Here is how to use Kenneth Copeland’s six I’s of faith to get your supernatural breakthrough.
1. I Believe“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” –Mark 11:24 (NIV)
The first of the six I’s of faith for supernatural breakthrough is: I believe. This is a declaration of faith, and it comes from the heart—or spirit—of the born-again believer. It’s one Kenneth says you can’t do without.
Should you say “I believe” before you really believe? Yes! We call things that be not as though they were, right? But ultimately, your goal should be to build and develop your faith to a place of believing what God says above what your circumstances say—even if those circumstances are screaming at the top of their lungs.
When do you believe it?
Before it comes to pass. That’s real faith. “I’ll believe it when I see it” is nothing more than skepticism fueled by doubt. That’s dangerous because a double-minded man receives nothing from God (James 1:7-8); so don’t say you believe, then turn and talk the problem or the absence of the solution. Put your hand right over your mouth if you have to!
When you start hearing Satan whisper at you, “You’ll never get what you want. It’s too late. Just accept things as they are,” that’s when you turn the tables on him. That’s what Jesus did when He was tempted in the wilderness, and the devil took off pretty quickly.
Jesus took authority over the devil and over His situation by speaking the Word. That’s what you need to do, too, when you need a supernatural breakthrough. Whatever you’re believing for, if it is in God’s Word, you have the answer. Speak it out!
The more you do, the more you’ll be able to say with complete confidence—“I believe.”
Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland teach you how to start believing when you pray.
2. I Will“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” –Isaiah 1:19 (ESV)
Believing is only the beginning. To get your supernatural breakthrough, you also need to make a decision and say the second I of faith, I will. This declaration brings your will in line with your faith. It’s deciding to take a stand to break through every hindrance—and win.
When you say, “I will,” you’re saying, “I will have faith in God. I will believe His Word. I will pursue faith and receive every promise He has for me. I will refuse to give up until I see my supernatural breakthrough.”
It’s the epitome of a willing heart. That may sound simple, but so many Christians aren’t willing to do what it takes to receive by faith. They’d rather blame God for whatever is wrong or missing—saying, “Well, it must not be God’s will.”
Not so!
He created us for fellowship with Him—for relationship. And a healthy relationship can’t exist without free will. That means we have a part to play in it. Everything that happens is not necessarily God’s will; otherwise, everyone on the planet would be saved. God doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent (2 Peter 3:9).
When you’re willing to do what it takes to activate your faith—you will have what you’re standing for.
Are you willing?
Are you willing to renew your mind continually with the Word of God? Are you willing to leave behind old habits and anything that hinders you? Are you willing to seek counsel from mature believers and then receive what they say, rather than reject it? Are you willing to make adjustments in your thinking and living?
If so, say, “I will.”
3. I Take It“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” –Mark 11:24 (NIV)
You believe and you have a willing heart. Now, it’s time to take your first action step with the third I of faith: I take it. Mark 11:24 tells us that when we pray, we should expect to receive. But some Christians pray, believe and then kick back in their recliners waiting for the manifestation to drop in their laps. That’s not what Jesus is telling us to do.
If we zoom in on one word in this verse, we find an important clue.
The Greek word translated receive in Mark 11:24 is lambano, which means “to take with the hand, lay hold of,” or “to take in order to carry away.” You can take faith because Jesus is offering it to you! And you use that faith to take those things you know are yours according to His Word.
Learn A Foolproof Strategy for Developing Fearless Faith HERE.
For example, faith will heal your body. It will straighten out your children. It will cause your finances to flourish. Faith will remove limitations and conquer anything the world can throw at you because, as 1 John 5:4 says, “This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (KJV).
It’s no wonder God said:
A righteous person will live by faith (Hebrews 10:38).
Have faith in God [constantly] (Mark 11:22, AMP).
It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
As far as God is concerned, faith isn’t an a la carte situation—it’s all or nothing.
Why? Because we don’t receive as He wants us to without faith…and our receiving is extremely important to Him! After all, He sent Jesus to the cross to take upon Himself the whole curse—every sickness, every disease, all poverty and every other kind of defeat—so that we could be BLESSED.
He paid the price of His own blood to purchase our salvation, our deliverance, our healing and our prosperity. He sacrificed His own Son to provide us with abundant life—and the only way for us to fully receive it is by faith!
So, anyone can just “leave it up to God,” but they will miss out on a lot because that’s not the way He designed things to work. As one preacher says, “We can’t leave up to God what He has left up to us.” And He gave us the responsibility of receiving His BLESSINGS by faith. When you see a promise in the Word, don’t hesitate; contend for your supernatural breakthrough, and say, “I take it!”
4. I Have It“Whoever…does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.” –Mark 11:23 (NASB)
Once you take it in the spirit realm, you won’t see it in the natural realm yet. That’s what this next I of faith, I have it, is all about. It’s the power of have. That’s what you’re seeking, isn’t it? To have the things you need and desire. The definition of the English word have is “to possess, to own.” That’s easy to understand in the natural: When you hold the deed to some property in your hand—you really know you have it!
It becomes something entirely different when you need to have something by faith. That’s why you’ve got to be so careful about what you say you have. Mark 11:23 says you’ll have what you say. What are you saying? Consider some of these common errors in speaking:
“I have a cold.”
“We’re having financial trouble.”
“I’ll never have a strong marriage.”
“I have crazy, rebellious children.”
If you find yourself saying these things, why are you talking like that? Your words can get you into a lot of trouble by canceling out the will and testament of the Lord Jesus Christ that makes you an heir to His promises.
Instead, say these things:
“I don’t have sickness. Sickness is part of the curse, and Jesus has redeemed me. I have healing.”
“I have provision and financial blessing.”
“I have good health.”
“I have strong relationships.”
“I have children who love and honor the Lord.”
Whatever supernatural breakthrough you need, whatever you’re believing for—say it out loud—“I have it!”
Once you believe, don’t toil for it—stand in faith with these 5 Ways to Let THE BLESSING Do the Work.
5. I Thank You for It“By prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” –Philippians 4:6 (NIV)
The next I of faith for supernatural breakthrough is: I thank You for it!
Think about this: When we pray, we come into God’s presence. But when we praise, He comes into ours!
Kenneth Copeland has said it time and again: “Praise is the big gun of faith.” In so many cases, personal praise is the missing element to crossing from believing to receiving. If you’re believing for healing, once you go through the healing scriptures in the Old and New Testaments, begin to praise and thank our heavenly Father who sent Jesus to the cross. Praise Him for healing you!
“Oh, thank You, Jesus, for bearing my sins in Your own body on the tree. By Your stripes I was, and I am, healed!”
Praise Him! Thank Him! When you can’t sleep because of pain, praise Him. When you start to worry about finances, praise Him. When you’re facing the pain of loneliness or the desire for family, praise Him.
In that place of praise and worship, great victories are won.

6. I Forgive“Faith…worketh by love” –Galatians 5:6 (KJV)
The last I of faith for supernatural breakthrough is: I forgive. This declaration is listed last but is the most important of all. In fact, the five other I’s of faith are dependent on it. That’s because faith will not work in an unforgiving heart.
Here’s why:
Unforgiveness blocks your own forgiveness (Mark 11:25).
Unforgiveness takes you out of the love walk. (Faith won’t work without love.)
Unforgiveness is a prayer blocker.
Unforgiveness is disobedience.
If you said right off, “I don’t have anyone to forgive,” it’s a sure sign you do. No matter where you are in life, it takes time to stop, think and ask the Lord to bring to your remembrance anyone you have anything against. It isn’t always some colossal offense. It could be as simple as a remark the checker at the grocery store made. It could even be that you haven’t forgiven yourself. (That counts, too!)
The devil will try to keep you in unforgiveness so you will continue going ’round and ’round the same mountain WITHOUT YOUR BLESSING. Don’t let him get away with it! Forgive—quickly—and watch how fast your supernatural breakthrough appears.
