Select your device and upload the data file to be processed, click the “Analyze File” button, and wait for the system to return the detailed information
Select the DTC and click “DTC off-Beta”
After the processing is completed, the system will return the corresponding successfully processed data file.

How to Modify BMW ISN/VIN by FormulaFlash?
In the previous article, we announced that FormulaFlash ECU Programmer will add BMW ISN/VIN modification feature on Nov. 12th, 2024 and shared the tips on how to receive a 6-month free license for this feature (click here to review). Today, we’ll guide you through using this new function with FormulaFlash.
For example: BMW 7 Series 2008- 2015 MSD85.4
Connect FormulaFlash and computer, and supply power to the device as well
Run FormulaFlash software
Input MSD85 in the search box to quickly find the corresponding car model
Follow the diagram to connect FormulaFlash and BMW MSD85 DME correctly
After that, click “Connection” and wait the process is complete
Then click “VIN/ISN/IMMOFF”
It will read the EEPORM and Flash data quickly, and show the PSW, VIN and ISN info.
Modify ISN:
Input the new ISN and click “Modify”
For example, we modify the last 2 digits “EA” to “12”, and then click “Modify”
It will show “Success” once the ISN is modified successfully.
Generate:
Click “Generate” and confirm to write the data directly to ECU
Wait a while, it will write the data into the ECU successfully.
Alright! That’s the whole process to modify BMW VIN/ISN by FormulaFlash ECU and TCU Chip Tuning Tool, very easy and fast!

How to use FormulaFLash ECU Programmer for the first time? Need activation? Need activation code?

FormulaFLash is different from other ECU programmer. It’s easy to install and activate the software. No need activation code! No need factory for activation! Customer can activate the device after receiving.
Operation guide:
1.Download FormulaFLash software (29.8 MB)
2.After downloading, you will get a Formula_1.0.0.2 folder
3.Open this folder, and find FormulaFLASH.exe
4.Connect FormulaFLash ECU Chip Tuning Tool and computer
5.Unzip FormulaFLASH.exe software package, it will open the software program automatically, and prompt you to activate, just click “Yes”, and the device will be activated soon.
Kindly notice:
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet with a good signal.
Disable firewall and anti-virus before unzipping FormulaFLASH.exe, otherwise, the software cannot be opened normally.
