Wallis Day Kate Kane or Ruby Rose Kate Kane

Ruby Rose.

Wallis Day did fantastic with what she was given and yeah, Ruby Rose's acting isn't always up to the level as her co-stars (and I fully get why she had to go) but I got so fucking attached to Rose's Kate over the first season. Day's Kate feels... off. Her breakup with Sophie and her leaving the team both permanently felt very out of character for Kate, especially a newly traumatized Kate. I love how this new Kate seems more thoughtful, especially toward Mary with giving her a gift for her med graduation, but also the same edge of impulsivity with the end of Kanemoore and going off on a wild goose chase to find Bruce. But at the end of the day: Rose's Kate is as awkward as she is angry, and Day's Kate is more relaxed.
