Rainy day chic: a white Ralph Lauren Polo jacket, jeans from True Religion & Nike sneakers

So finally I get a chance to visit Goenneranlage, the historic park in Baden Baden, Germany, with a view of the Black Forest Mountains. It's Tuesday morning and I still have a few hours before I take the afternoon train to Bermersbach, a small village in the mountains located about 16 km from Baden Baden. Even as I am deciding what clothes to wear in my hotel room, it begins to rain. I am concerned that I don't have any rainboots or even a raincoat and hope my Nike sneakers will match up the weather for the day. My white Ralph Lauren Polo jacket that I take almost everywhere with me, is fast becoming my indispensable companion. From mild weather to chilly evenings and rainy days like today, it makes me look sophisticated and chic at all times. I also love how good the white color looks when it rains, especially when every other color in nature has reached its saturation level!

The park is pretty quiet. With just a couple of workers tending to the flowers, I have the gardens practically to myself.

I find the perfect spot laid out with wrought-iron chairs and tables, where I can sit and loose myself in the beauty surrounding me. :)

It seems to me that everything around me is bursting with joy-the trees, the river, the birds and the flowers. So alone and so far away, I feel one with nature......

Time to say goodbye....we'll be back soon.....:)
