#GRISHAVERSE ROLEPLAY

hi all! i'm 27F, in EST, and looking for someone to write with on discord!

my main idea is a figure skating plot, m/f, and i am open to playing either m or f! the plot, in a quick summary, would be that our muses are new partners and are starting to practice for competition season (or i'm fine with them having been established partners, too!). but i'm really looking to explore some themes of mutual pining, friends to lovers, angst, and all that good stuff. i've been rping for about 10 years, but i want this to be pretty laid back - i'd love to do a good mix of texting threads for just some easy back and forth stuff, but also mixed with some actual prose, around 1-3 paragraphs a response.

nsfw is welcome, but will not be the entire basis of the rp. i also love plotting and getting to know my writing partners, so i'm happy to chat, make playlists, pinterest boards, etc.

i'm open to doing OCs that we could create separately (or if you already have one, that's great too!) or these are some fandoms i'm familiar with and we could make a modern!au for these:

It wasn't even early morning yet, when Nikolai went down to the stables; in fact, it was that early, that nobody except the horses were present. Sleepless as he had been during the last nights, he had reached a point where the walls of the palace started to feel suffocating and he needed a change of air, that was more than the workshops and the library. He left Zoya a note, letting her know that he was gone for a ride and intended to be back at dinnertime latest. As much as he appreciated her presence and as much as he loved her, she couldn't do anything about the gloomy restlessness that kept him awake. Absent mindedly he prepared his favourite horse, Punchline. Everything that happened back at the little island was bothering him. From the loss of more Grisha, over what they discovered, the incident with the Darkling he hadn't told anyone yet - Saints, he wouldn't even know what to say and could only imagine the panic and concern it would send to the Triumvirate if he'd share this little fun fact. And the unshakeable feeling that they only slowed down and not stopped what happened. The church was destroyed and Nikolai had reconstructed the plans best he could with David's input. It only felt like the beginning of another problem. He had let Tamar's spy network reach every undercover Grisha to inform them about the problem, given them the choice to return to the Little Palace if they'd like to. Unfortunately, with that, only part of the problem was tackled; since otkazat'sya were targeted too for the experiments it was a worldwide danger rather than a Ravka-focused one. A cold chill let him shiver when he thought about the poor souls that have been mutilated in the process of trying to turn non-Grisha into Grisha and Grisha into amplifiers. Punchline's soft nibbling at his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts and made him aware that he'd been standing like frozen next to the half saddled horse. Nik softly stroked the velvet nuzzle of the animal and gave him an apologizing smile: "My apologies, buddy. I seem to be a bit distracted." He finished quickly and led outside, where he chose to make his way through one of the close woods. He didn't bother taking guards with him this time; the demon would be guard enough.

I am looking for someone to write a detailed novella style roleplay with me. This typically involves at least 1000 words per reply as I love fleshing out the world and my characters. I live in the CET time zone and I try to reply at least every other day depending on my shifts.

The long rides through the forest did only as much for his nerves and not only was he still quite restless, the demon was harder to control again too, as if the events on the island influenced it too. He didn't trust his own ability to keep it under control and returned to be locked in for the night until he felt more secure again. Some risks not even he thought were worth taking. Now, he was pacing in front of the door to the war room. He made the decision that the Triumvirate and Zoya needed to know the full truth about what happened back there. Not only for the safety of the country, but because he owed them that much as his most trusted people. But Saints, it was a topic he dreaded talking about. How did you tell the people that mattered to you, that the man they all suffered under and that should be quite literally be unreachably locked away holding the world together, reached out to him in a way he still wasn't sure even he understood? Because in all the years of the demon's existence within him, this had never happened before in such a way. Let alone the sympathy and understanding this little conversation stirred in him. At least, so he thought, he didn't have to share that with his people.

There was no way around it. With a last deep breath Nikolai straightened his shoulders and pushed the doors to the war room open, maybe the first person to arrive.
