I've been thinking a lot about that one post I made a while back and wanted to see it in the form of a comic.

As a little bonus trivia for Right of Law, I did plan out which Toa would be on the various kolhii teams participating in Ahkmou’s tournament (plus a few others that had been banned from entering).  Not sure how many of these characters will come up again in the future, but if nothing else, they are now confirmed to exist in the Melding Universe.

Divakar Parida

Divakar Parida Freedom fighter

Divakar Parida (November 30, 1911 - April 4, 1911) was a leader of the people and a freedom fighter. He was hanged along with his colleague Raghunath Mohanty. Both are known as Raghu-Divakar.

Biography--

The rebel Divakar Parida was the eldest son of his father Visoyi Samanta Harihar Parida and his mother Tara Devi. He was born on November 30, 1911 in Gadbanikilo, Ranpur. Although he inherited a lot of property in the succession sources after his father's death, he was still working for the Ranpur Raja's printing press. Divakar was also a poet and astrologer. According to Sri Sri Arteshwar Dev, he has authored two books in the name of Jatakalanka and two books of revolutionary poetry called Jagiuth and Agai Chal.

The oppression of the innocent people in the 'Road Beti' of the Ranpur king's harvest caused a great stir in his mind. He resigned and joined the people's movement in protest of the Gadjati injustice and oppression. On January 5, 1936, on the full moon day of the Poush, a mass rally was held in front of Ranpur Gad Raj Uas at the urging of the people. Bezelgate, a political activist who had come to suppress the rally, was killed in what became known as the Cold War. Divakar and his accomplice Raghunath were arrested on suspicion of plotting to assassinate Bezelgate. Divakar and Raghunath were sentenced to death by firing squad. On the morning of April 4, 181, Raghu-Divakar was hanged in Bhagalpur Jail, Bihar.

Following in the footsteps of Divakar, his younger brother Ratnakar and Chakradhar and younger sister Indumati also joined the struggle for independence.

Raghunath Mohanty and Divakar Parida wrote a book about the struggle story of Samarendra Baliar Singh, the revolutionary hero Raghu Divakar.

 Remember how I said last night I wasn’t sure when the next page would come out? Well uh. I was in a productive mood last night... Theoretically, since I’m not really doing intensive shading anymore, the pages should be done quicker. But I mean, time and motivation are also things. So anyway. Ahkmou makes his return! With a nice appearance from Gadjati (there’s a few other Po-Matoran that will appear within the next few pages). Also something to expect... two guest pages!

I was thinking about The Legend Continues and realized how much Gadjati and Dosne are like Merry and Pippin 

They’re of the same species as Jaller and Takua (in which a lot of people compared them to Frodo and Sam) and the fact that their task is sort of outside of what Jaller and Takua are doing but it still ties in with the plot

I also noticed how they go to see what Jaller and Takua are doing and want to follow along without disturbing their mission

Dosne = Merry, responsible one that has to watch over Gadjati / also plays as Jaller’s counterpart

Gadjati = Pippin, the irresponsible one who’s sort of the not-as-bright one as the other / also plays as Takua’s counterpart
