The game is currently split into eight Tiers. As with Crew, their base stats are generally weaker than the player's. No Guard Tenant can be stronger than Tier 4, regardless of where they're stationed. "Themed" Tenant Guards, such as the Fenerox or Rainbow Rogues, have a single permanently-set Tier. "Generic" player-race Tenant Guards get their stats by having enough objects crafted from Ores in their room, from Iron (Tier 1) to Durasteel (Tier 4). Guard Tenants have their stats dictated solely by the Tags of the objects in their room when a Colony Deed is placed. They're not going to be doing all the hard work for you at any time. Because of this, the player can keep their Crew/Pets of choice as they proceed through the game and they will grow in strength with the player, though both will always be considerably weaker than the player at all times. Crew and Pets have a baseline stat set (effectively Tier 1) that is then multiplied by the player's currently-equipped Armor Tier, regardless of the Tier of planet they were hired/captured from. If the Tenant pays with a procedurally-generated weapon, it will be at the planet's Tier.Īlly NPCs - Crew, Pets, and Guard Tenant- do not use spawn locations for their stats. The higher the Tier, the larger the amount of Pixels the Tenant will pay out. "Specialty" merchants who do not carry combat gear are of course exempt from this. Any procedurally-generated Weapons or Armor the Merchant carries will be at their location's Tier. Merchant stock is dictated by the spawn location's Tier, whether they be "permanent" residents, temporary Merchants summoned by a Quest, or summoned by the player as a Tenant via Colony Deed. Basically, the higher the area's Tier, the tougher its population is in a fight, just as it is with Monsters. This holds true for any NPC regardless of their attitude towards the player. This is largely dictated by where the NPC is spawned, but there are a few exceptions.įor non-allied NPCs, the Tier of the area they are spawned in dictates their hit points, damage output, and armor class. One important factor in the Tier system is how it affects NPCs, both friendly and hostile.

Hey because gamepedia tier list exploded and very obviously only considers whales at this point I updated my tier list again. Consider this a tier list for well informed, high skill players who are not whales. This represents a mixture of personal experience between tiers 16-20, anecdotes from other high ranking friends, and a whole bunch of calculations I’ve run. Character ratings are based on a mixture of attack and defense viability, keeping in mind what conditions you’re likely to encounter any character under, and having generally strong or ideal builds. As a result, some horse, armor, or flyer units might be rated a bit higher than you would expect.

i like lucina, she hits like a truck, but dear god, leaving her in range of any enemy with a decent atk stat is a serious danger. i only use her if i need to hit particularly hard, otherwise seliph is my to-go (and only other trained) red

Your first mistake is thinking that the actual Fire Emblem games have any bearing on Heroes lol

You tend to figure out who the OP characters are by playing a lot of higher-level arena matches. You could also check out Gamepedia’s Tier List (may be a bit controversial), while Gamepress is good for the more technical info like specific character builds and IV Calculators, if you wanna delve that deep into the strats

since launch day!! since within like 10 minutes of it coming out in my timezone, i kept checking over and over all day

hmmm i probably check every time i think about building a unit or a new banner comes around!! i track movement pretty closely, though i more often check gamepedia’s tier list because it’s easier to navigate than gamepress’s

probably green? but to be fair those seem to always be the ones i focus on... im really unlucky on blue though!

hmmmmm trying not to be biased!! i really like kippu’s soft art style but also like how AKIRA’s stands out...and mayo has really consistent quality? probably bridal cordelia overall, the special attack sprite is too cute
