CONCERT COUNTDOWN: We're counting down to our Music For Pixels Summer Charity Concert (http://is.gd/GetNoisy2015) where 23 artists from 5 countries are getting together LIVE on Google Hangout to #GetNoisy about stopping violence against women through their music.
Every day, we'll be highlighting one of these 23 artists. Today, we meet powerhouse Swedish singer-songwriter ULRIKA.
ULRIKA says: “I am honored to get to play my music in support of The Pixel Project’s mission to spread awareness, and to put an end to violence against women. As a swedish feminist, I am a strong believer of absolute equality between the genders, and the thought of a human being not knowing her true worth, strengths and rights makes me very disheartened. NO ONE should make decisions based on fear and no one should have to live a life without love.”

Hannah says: “ I am so blessed to lend my voice to such a worthy cause. Violence against women is violence against those who are the hearts of communities around the world, from Canada to Congo. It is destructive. It is never okay. It is never their fault. I hope that we will empower women and men to speak out to end violence against women in their communities and around the world.”

Every day, we'll be highlighting one of these 23 artists. Today, we meet rising young artist Eva Universe.
Eva says: “ Domestic violence and abuse against women has been a very relevant topic in the media. Major headlines have featured horrific stories about this type of violence with well known celebrities and athletes. As an artist with a voice that has the power to reach the masses, I think it's equally important to spread the awareness of how common it is among the rest of the population and to emphasize not only that this greatly exists, but to spread the knowledge of how to help bring this violence against women to an end.”
