If Keegan is sick with a cold or flu, he would be the type to carry a box of tissues around with him.

If Hesh is sick with a cold or flu, he stuffs his pockets full of cough drops. The strong menthol ones no one likes.

If Logan is sick with a cold or flu, he'll mask up and keep his distance.

If Merrick is sick with a cold or flu, he stays home until it passes.

If Kick is sick with a cold or flu, he'll pull out a NyQuil bottle from his coat and drink it straight.

Naps are great because it's like time travel, but you wake up not knowing where the heck you are and where you've been. You're just there now.

For context, I had a power nap in the truck, and now we're somewhere.

Hesh in the beginning of the game’s got vaguely 2008 swag, and it’s just a thing of the game being made 2013, but i like to think yeah he just dresses that way… but when [reader] comes along she gives him a little nudge to dress nice! one specific outfit i imagine him looking sexy in, white wife pleaser, black pleated trousers (but high waisted), dogtags :) and Keegan’s ass would look amazing in Western Wrangler “wrancher” dress jeans; i think he would wear slim fit clothes idk. you ever think of clothes the boys would look good in, i wonder?

So... fashion show time with the Ghosts! Complete with pictures! How do our boys dress? Primarily for comfort.

Merrick : I see Merrick having a mature taste and the fisherman style fits him well (plus he was in the Navy so it suits him). He's a guy that values comfort first and foremost and despite his gruff exterior, this man enjoys the cozy life when he can.

Keegan: I picture him rocking flannels. Like, he'll throw on a flannel and some nice black jeans and go about his way. It's simple and effective and comfy for him. He does wear darks quite a bit so blacks and grays are common in his wardrobe.

Logan: Logan has a more street style based fashion. He's the perpetual hoodie guy and goes for comfort primarily. I think his style also highlights his age.

Hesh: More mature and kind of the modern casual, shops at Gap style. It's typical modern male fashion and functional. Nothing fancy but presentable and nice.

Kick: Whatever the fuck you'd call this. Hunter S. Thompson core?

I feel like Merrick is so pep-pep coded he's the type to fall asleep in a recliner with a sleeve of saltine crackers nearby.

I also have this really stupid scene in my head where Logan comes into the common room of wherever they call their base and he's like 'mail call'. He hands out whatever mail they have and then hands Merrick his. Logan is like 'Ooh...this feels like a magazine...mailed in discreet wrapping...someone have a date with their hand tonight?"

Merrick is like "mind your own business, kid!" At night in his bunk when he's alone he opens the package and pulls out an old copy he got from a correspondence of 'Better Homes & Garden Autumn Soup Recipe Edition' and he's like "Oh, I can't wait to try some of these out when the temp drops."

Well...that's kind of true...

But it's 'the Merrick dealing with being a widower' piece.

Merrick HeadCanons: General Things Vol. 1

Let's talk about our favorite grouchy pep pep, shall we?

Merrick is a fruit guy. What I mean by this is that you'll see him chomping down on a banana or apple as a snack. He always has a fresh fruit somewhere nearby.

Loud as fuck sneezes.

This guy has a wealth of knowledge about illicit activities. Want to know how to hot wire a car? Ask him...but you'll probably be too intimidated to do so.

Breakfast king! This guy loves breakfast and when he's in the mood, he goes all out. You're getting a full spread with him.

Was a coffee drinker but his doctors told him to cut it out due to health reasons. They told him to switch to green tea which he actually, surprisingly, enjoys.

Big ol' dog daddy! When Hesh is away, Merrick watches & cares for Riley. He plays Frisbee with him in the park. Keegan sometimes joins too.

Despite being the more serious member of the Ghosts, Merrick has a soft spot for children.

If he shaves, he uses a safety razor.

His all time favorite meal is pot roast with apple pie a la mode. The Ghost boys will always make this for him when his birthday rolls around.

It's rumored that he does talk baby talk to Riley. Logan swears he heard it once but it has been unconfirmed.

Merrick always smells like Irish Spring soap even though he doesn't use it.

Owns a pair of Crocs. "They're my lawn shoes!"

Gives the best Christmas presents. In fact, Christmas is always held at his place. It was a tradition that was started by his late wife and he keeps it going in her honor. The Ghost boys do it to honor her memory too as she was very supportive of all of them.

Likes to go fishing and actually knows how to noodle for fish (noodling is catching a fish with your bare hands).

Always wears socks and hardly ever walks around barefoot. Merrick even saves those anti-slip socks you get at the hospital. "They have to be good if they're hospital grade."

His favorite season is summer. Despite being a grump, he does enjoy tubing down the river with the Ghost boys.
