szybkie uwagi wyłapane z opinii na temat klubów, w których zagra Käärijä w przyszłym tygodniu:

Kraków, Hype Park: szatnia 5zł gotówką; w barze można płacić kartą; w lokalu nie ma porządnego ogrzewania ani wentylacji! Jeśli masz zamiar przyjść na otwarcie bram to musisz się ciepło ubrać, żeby nie zmarznąć; najlepiej ubrać się na cebulę, bo potem na koncercie na pewno zrobi się zaduch. Do tego klub ma dwie sale i trzeba uważać, żeby za przedsionkiem skręcić w dobrą stronę (nie biegamy!!!). Toaleta tragiczna.

(tak przy okazji gorąco polecam w wolnym czasie obejrzeć wystawę szopek krakowskich przy Rynku Głównym - w poniedziałek bilety są tańsze)

Warszawa, Progresja: ogólnie mało uwag, szatnia płatna, ochrona skrupulatna, bramy otwierają późnawo, wentylacja kiepska (czyli znowu zimno przed imprezą i zaduch w trakcie), scena szeroka dobrze widoczna

Gdańsk, B90: szatnia gotówką 5zł, ochrona skrupulatna, wszędzie filary zasłaniające scenę, jest pięterko z barem i widokiem na salę ale tam jest zimno

Now same in english. Here is a summary of opinions on the clubs where Käärijä will perform in Poland

Krakow, Hype Park: cloakroom 5zł cash only; bar accepts car payment; the venue doesn't have proper heating and ventilation system! If you want to arrive at gates time you need to dress warmly or you'll be cold; better dress in layers because during concerts it gets super warm. The club has two concert halls so watch out to turn the right way after entrance (no running!!!). Toilets are a disaster.

(By the way if you have some free time I highly recommend visiting the traditional Szopki/Christmas cribs exhibition at Main Square)

Warsaw, Progresja: not much criticism, cloakroom is paid, security is dilligent, gates can open late, poor ventilation (so again cold before the show and super hot during it), the stage is wide and well-visible

Gdansk, B90: cloakroom 5zł cash only, dilligent security, there are pillars everywhere obscuring the stage, there is a bar on a balcony with a view on the hall but it gets cold there

Gig Young (born Byron Elsworth Barr; November 4, 1913 – October 19, 1978) Film and television actor.

During the 1950′s he appeared on shows like The Silver Theater,  Pulitzer Prize Playhouse, The Bigelow Theatre, Robert Montgomery Presents, Schlitz Playhouse of Stars, Producers' Showcase, Lux Video Theatre, Warner Brothers Presents, The United States Steel Hour, Climax!, Studio One, Goodyear Theatre, The Twilight Zone (Episode: "Walking Distance") and  Shirley Temple's Storybook.  

 On the 1964–65 NBC series The Rogues, he shared appearances on a rotating basis with David Niven and Charles Boyer. It was one of Young's favorite roles.  He later said, "I loved it, the public loved it, only NBC didn't love it."  (Wikipedia)

Charles Boyer (French: [bwaje]; August 28, 1899 – August 26, 1978) Film, stage and television actor who appeared in more than 80 films between 1920 and 1976.  

Boyer moved into television as one of the pioneering producers and stars of the anthology show Four Star Playhouse (1952–56). It was made by Four Star Productions which would make Boyer and partners David Niven and Dick Powell rich.

In 1956, Boyer was a guest star on I Love Lucy.   On March 17, 1957, Boyer starred in an adaptation for TV of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, There Shall Be No Night, by Robert E. Sherwood. The performance starred Katharine Cornell, and was broadcast on NBC as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame.

Boyer was reunited with David Niven in The Rogues (1964–65), a television series also starring Gig Young. Niven, Boyer and Young revolved from week to week as the episode's leading man, sometimes appearing together, although most episodes wound up being helmed by Young since both Niven and Boyer had flourishing movie careers.  (Wikipedia)

Lieutenant Colonel James David Graham Niven (/��nɪvən/; March 1, 1910 – July 29, 1983) Film and television actor, soldier, memoirist, and novelist.   He appeared in many shows for television and nearly 100 films.

He appeared several times on various short-drama shows and was one of the "four stars" of the dramatic anthology series Four Star Playhouse, appearing in 33 episodes. The show was produced by Four Star Television, which was co-owned and founded by Niven, Ida Lupino, Dick Powell and Charles Boyer. The show ended in 1955, but Four Star TV became a highly successful TV production company.

In 1959, he became the host of his own TV drama series, The David Niven Show, which ran for 13 episodes that summer.

In 1964, Charles Boyer, Gig Young and top-billed Niven appeared in the Four Star series The Rogues. Niven played Alexander 'Alec' Fleming, one of a family of retired con-artists who now fleece villains in the interests of justice. This was his only recurring role on television, and the series was originally set up to more or less revolve between the three leads in various combinations (one-lead, two-lead and three-lead episodes), although the least otherwise busy Gig Young wound up carrying most of the series. TSUKISHIMA KEI who hated pda and openly showed his disdain for it before and during your relationship, and yet somehow he starts craving it slowly but surely.

craving doesn’t exactly describe it. it’s like he’s learned how to crave it in a way that’s unconsciously done. in a way he’s known since forever on how to interlock fingers and shove your hands both in his pocket. in a way that—he might have even lied to you about hating pda in the first place.

you can’t forget that scrunched up face he made seeing your peers doing… revolting things, as he phrased it, but when you followed his line of sight, you’re only met with the most timid looking couples gigging to each other, face so close as if they’ve just shared a sweet secret under their breath.

“they’re cute.” you look back at him, see how his eyes soften through his glasses. a half smile forming. then blinks away as he mutters,

“no they’re not.”

‘but they are!”

you scoff at him. that night, he kisses you tenderly on the forehead before he walks out your door, ending your study session in the softness that he thrives in under quiet, private spaces. “you can have my notes, don’t stay up too long.”

“okay, mister ‘i hate pda but i’d spoil you with kisses in private’ tsukishima”

“do you want me to revoke your privileges?”

it’s even funnier thinking about it now. he was never the same after the third date, when he kissed your hand before holding them as you amble your way through the aquarium. or the fourth date, when he doesn’t seem bothered resting his chin over your shoulder while being sandwhiched in a crowded highway bus. or the four months in, a greeting is never a greeting unless its in the form of a hug. he could only sigh and offer his arms wide open, trying (and failing) to hide his gorgeous smile once he wraps his arms around you, all snuggly and oblivious to the peering gazes around you.

by the time he realizes, it’s already too late.

“kei?”

he freezes mid-bite of his shortcake, eyeing your own slice held up for him to take. he complies without a word and—to your satisfaction, munches it with a hum of approval. you can’t help but chuckle and think he’s cute. unbothered.

“you know i’m starting to trust your adventurous nature-” you halved your cake, bring the other to his lips, and if it wasn’t for the little grin you’re sporting right now—

he eyes the cake,

then to you,

you can see the little gears shifting in his big brain from the way he blinks and raise a brow. lips slightly parted.

“wait-”

looks like he’s finally snapped out of it.

you mutter a small ‘sorry’ as you watch through the window a couple smacking each other’s lips across the street, casually directing your fork towards yourself. it was fun while it lasted, you finally have more reasons to tease him later too—

“i want a bite.”

you sputter out, “huh?” tsukishima kei looks bashful, but also staring down at you as if you’ve personally offended him. either way, you’re a bit dumbfounded to even move, let alone register what he had just said.

he scoffs. then grabbed your arm, guiding the slice you’re holding back to his mouth.

he munches it much more slowly, ear’s pink, looking anywhere but you.

“you good?” you ask, holding back a chuckle.

“mmhm.” he nods. wordless, inviting you to never speak anything about it either.

and to his luck, you never did. just basked in the affections you both give and receive. after all, who cares about pda?

he walks you home, hand in his. he demands a kiss before you go, and you give him without thought.

life doesn’t seem to give a damn either.
