Supplies
Hey friends,
So I’m a couple of weeks from truly starting my first grow ever! Yay! I’ve spent a countless amount of time reading articles, reviews, and forum sites making sure I have everything I need to do this right. I figured I should fill you all in on anything and everything I’ve decided to buy for my set up. Just a warning I may have gone a wee bit overboard...
Before taking on this little venture I’ve been growing flowers, herbs, vegetable, etc. for years now. This is just the next logical grow to try. Being someone who partakes of the magical benefits of our dear friend Mary growing seems long term cost effective for my lifestyle. So I’m not afraid to be dropping a little bit of money into growing the best and most dank weed I can muster!
First things firs you need seeds right? There are many sights out there dedicated to sending quality seeds discreetly. You can do a little bit of research to find reputable sellers or follow one of my reccommendations of Nirvana Seeds or Seedsman. The nice thing about seedsman is they have a few different payment options. I personaly prefer bitcoin because of the high level of discretion needed in this under taking. What’s really cool is that if you use the bitcoin option they provide you with additional discounts/samples!
Warning: If this is your firs time purchasing or using bitcoin do a little bit of research because depending on your method of purchase of the Coins it could take a few days to process.
Phew! Finally time to just list out my supplies

After doing a bunch of research, here are the supplies I bought to grow

I recently decided to get back into growing. I hadn't done a grow in a long time, and now all of the genetics and technology makes everything different than what it used to be. After doing a lot of browsing, and finding a balance between quality and low cost, here's what I ended up getting. I am extremely satisfied with everything I decided on. Everything below is between $350-$400. Getting only the necessities would be $300, possibly $275.

Light: Growstar Reflector Series 600W LED with 2 Cree Cobs - https://amzn.to/2PQq3wF You'll see very positive reviews are popping up on various grow sites about this specific light. It has cree cobs on it, so you're getting truly full spectrum. It's lightweight, powerful lights, but also light on the electricity bill. Runs cool. For autoflowers, you just turn this light on and off for veg and flower stage.

Grow Tent This low-cost, high-quality tent in available at Walmart. I think you'll need 72in height, nothing less.

Carbon Filter and Exhaust Fan: https://amzn.to/2HUN5vZ If you really need to prevent the pungent cannabis smells then you'll need something stronger than my recommendation. Also, a bottle of Ozium comes in handy.

Coco Coir with Perlite: https://amzn.to/2POkyP1. You can make this yourself if you want to save a few bucks. Or, if you buy this at a gardening store, it'll cost less than online.

Nutrients I chose to use: https://amzn.to/2zX2xU4 I'm growing autoflowers, and they need 50% less than the recommended dosage. These are some great, strong nutes, highly recommended for a coco coir grow.

Calmag: https://amzn.to/2A2cX4V Make sure it's 2-0-0 if you use the nutes above

Ph up down: https://amzn.to/2PVyhDR

Ph meter: https://amzn.to/2zY9xjo Don't rely on the ph drip test or dipsticks involving matching colors. Get a digital meter.

3 gallon smartpots: https://amzn.to/2LzJEvH

Cheapest glasses to protect your eyes from the grow light: https://amzn.to/2HRhQlG

Rapid Rooter starter plugs: https://amzn.to/317kN9e To save money, you can get starter plugs at the dollar store.

Digital Humidity Meter: https://amzn.to/2ZLA5Um During veg, you'll want this to be just over 50%. During flowering you'll want this to be under 50%.

Mini Dehumidifier: https://amzn.to/2LDndpp

Clip on Magnifier: https://amzn.to/2ZXXb5B To know when to harvest, you'll look at the trichomes. This is a 60x microscope lens you clip over the camera of your mobile device. Other options: Get 100x if you really want to see cool stuff. I don't think you'll need more than 100x. You can also get a USB or firewire lens to plug into your phone or computer. Lastly, there's this jeweler's loupe

That's just about everything you need. I did leave out what you'll need for excess water drainage. The easiest method is to set your plants on a rack (like, from the oven) and underneath it, place a glass or plastic to catch all the excess drainage water. I also left out harvest supplies.

All proceeds from post clicks get donated directly to Mission Rabies - Mission Rabies is a charity which was founded as a project of Worldwide Veterinary Service in 2013 with one aim, eliminate dog bite transmitted rabies through a research driven One Health approach.

#cannabisgrow #beginnergrowing #recommendations #growlights #growsupplies

source https://smoke-indica.com/after-doing-a-bunch-of-research-here-are-the-supplies-i-bought-to-grow/
