the woman may be seen as nothing short of intimidating to the others ——  even without words,  the unspoken threat looming in the air was almost palpable.  the baby in her arms,  however,  felt none of that,  comfortably nestling into her arms.  though she could easily strike fear upon many,  what hakuno kishinami always felt with when in the presence of tara was a sort of tranquil peace,  safety.  the baby form of hakuno,  despite her stoicness,  seemed to have boundless energy which manifested in a notable state of wakefulness.  but the gentleness of being held like this seemed to lull her into a peaceful slumber—  that little head of hers bobbling softly as she dozed off.

( `_ゝ´) h8 the way certain aspects of hakuno is clearly because of a self insert protag purposes (derogatory) instead of something that could have been interesting and meaningful for her own character . and i am absolutely not having any of that for my portrayal !!!!!!

having the option to change her name so that players can put in their own? that's hakuno being a nameless nobody and seeing no value in her own given name, so it wouldn't matter what she's called (hakuno vc please call me whatever you'd like) (<- would change with development methinks)

making hakuno's blood type and birthday up to the "player's decision"? that's hakuno not knowing even the most basic things about herself because she has no memories about her past at all. just the feeling of emptiness and something missing <3

leaving hakuno's preferences vague to allow players to self-insert? that's hakuno not knowing her own preferences because she has no sense of self and doesn't know anything about herself

leaving certain dynamics she has with other characters vague so that players can decide if they wanna ship with that chara or nah? that's hakuno being bad at understanding her own emotions and feelings which is why when she feels strongly about someone, she doesn't know whether it's platonic or romantic or not

          —   but what if the one known the  “ big bad scary vampire "   doesn’t quite match that image ?    a wolf in sheep’s clothing.    large doe eyes instinctively squint at the sunlight pouring in as she opens the door,    her hand remains there,    keeping the doors opened in such a way that she reigns some form of control over it.    she keeps it open,    it’s not fully opened.    with a slow blink,    her gaze shifts to scan over the other;  ‎she makes it a point to not let her gaze fall onto that pretty little neck of theirs   (  she’s thirsty,    so thirsty,    but she doesn’t want to drink.    she doesn’t want to hurt anyone   )  .    it’s a sister,    she notes immediately,    seeing how it’s a fact made obvious by the garments the other girl wore   —   and having heard some of the   . . .   rumors    [  the speculations about her ?    the truth of her existence ?   ]    about herself,    hakuno is quick to piece together two and two.

          and yet,   the undead girl finds herself intrigued,    a part of her hoping that this wasn’t the case for this nun   /   a part of her knowing even if worse came to worse,    she wouldn’t be overpowered.    so her lips curve upwards into the smallest of smiles,    and it is with a slight arch of the brunette’s brow that she asks:
