So, as far as we’re aware, Alex has seen Willie dance but he hasn’t heard him sing, right? Like, he knows Willie likes to sing because he was singing along to The Other Side Of Hollywood, but he was only singing the background with everyone else while Caleb led.

Can we get a scene where Willie serenades Alex with, like, a super chill Fade Away by Cipes & The People type love song in season 2?

What if in season 2, after Julie saves Willie from Caleb, they crash a Dirty Candy performance and Alex poofs in and starts dancing on instinct and he looks at Willie and instead of getting anxious and nervous, he gets all extra with his dancing and Willie’s in the audience with Julie, Flynn and the guys like *😲😲😲😳😳😳 s h o o k* “Alex can da- Oh, my god. ...I’m the luckiest ghost in the afterlife. Thank you, Universe! Whatever force that brought Alex to me, thank you!“ and Julie and the boys are just laughing at him while Alex gives a super cute big finale and blows a kiss to Willie and poofs off stage next to him and he suddenly gets super shy and asks “Hey. Did you like my dance?” and that’s when Willie kisses him.

Ok, that’s enough thinking and talking about Supernatural for the literal rest of my life. Now back to stanning Julie and The Phantoms where, while the two canonically gay boys are dead, they came back as ghosts and were both very big, very important parts of the (really good and really interesting and don’t even get me started on the ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE of a soundtrack!) story and one of them is a main character who already knew he was gay and was already out to everyone important in his life (and afterlife) so he didn’t get just another “sexuality crisis/self hatred then self acceptance then coming out” story but it’s an “oh shit me and my best friends got the biggest gig of our lives we’re gonna be rock stars oh shit I died OH SHIT I’M A GHOST OH THIS GIRL CAN SING WE SHOULD BE IN HER BAND OH SHIT CUTE GHOST BOY OH SHIT CUTE GHOST BOY LIKES ME AND I LIKE HIM” story and he likes pink and he loves to dance and he has anxiety and his best friend band mates aren’t weird about him being gay (and it’s not canon yet but I SWEAR both of them are also not straight so of course they’re cool with him and they’re like super progressive for having lived in the 80′s/early 90′s and I love them and they are my Emotional Support Handsome Ghost Boys) and they don’t tease him about his anxiety and both of them are like SUPER HAPPY for him finding his cute ass handsome ass ghost boyfriend (played by super cutie Booboo Stewart, by the way!) who is not as perfect for our cute gay little drummer boy as he seems because ooh, Big Bad Guy owns his soul and all of them are in trouble but in the end (almost) everything is Perfect and Fine and oh my god, I love Julie and The Phantoms. Watch it on Netflix now, tell your friends and please ask (politely) for a season 2 because I need it and the world needs it.

Ok, here’s how eyeliner!Reggie can happen in season 2

He just gets a feeling one day watching Julie draw some eyeliner around her pretty eyes. A feeling like he wants. He doesn’t yet know what he wants, but he wants.

She wasn’t going anywhere. They didn’t have a performance until the next day. She just felt like putting some on which, fair enough. It made her eyes pop nicely and it made her feel good, so he wasn’t about to judge her for putting on some make up for no reason.

He’d just felt like hanging out with Julie so he poofed outside her bedroom and knocked on the door, waiting for her to let him in rather than poofing right into her room like a heathen. Boundaries and all that were important to Julie and he was determined to be better about that.

Once she let him in, he sat on her bed and they started talking about whatever came to mind. Some Sunset Curve memories, Julie’s crush on Luke, (”It’s not a crush, Reggie! Luke and I are just friends!” Julie huffed. “Uh-huh. Sure.” Reggie rolled his eyes and chuckled, not believing her for a minute.) Reggie admitting he’s actually pretty good at playing a piano and Julie pretty much begging him to play for her sometime, throwing around a couple lyrics to tell Luke and Alex about later, or just about nothing.

It was actually kind of nice to just talk to Julie about something not involving the band or Caleb or their inevitable crossing over. He got to just relax and bond with his friend who he liked being around and who liked being around him. It made him feel like a normal, totally alive 17 year old in a cool band with all of his best friends rather than a ghost (kind of) living his best after life in a band with his two ghost best friends and a cool as hell lifer than can somehow see, hear and feel them and make others see and hear them.

Reggie looked up when Julie mumbled something about feeling like doing her make up, watching her grab a black eyeliner pencil, pink lip gloss and a compact mirror. “Oh, prettying yourself up to look cute for Luke?“ He teased, making kissy noises at her. “Dude, no! I just feel like putting on make up for myself sometimes.“ She said with a laugh and started to draw on her eyeliner.

“For what? You don’t need that anyway. You’re already super pretty on your own.“ Reggie told her, still kind of stuck in his 90′s mindset on some things. “Thank you, Reggie. But I don’t think I’m not pretty. It’s just for fun.“ She said as she copied what she did around her left eye on the right. Reggie blinked and tilted his head at that, watching Julie closer.

“Just for fun?“ Reggie asked softly, biting his lip as he watched her put on her lip gloss. He’d always just kind of assumed make up was there for girls who were insecure, who didn’t feel as pretty as they were, who felt like they needed it to impress cute boys. He never thought about girls just doing it for fun. He’d seen a couple boys wear it just for fun, but he hadn’t really thought about it too hard at the time.

He was suddenly hit with a feeling he can’t say he’d ever remembered feeling before as he watch Julie put away her make up and mirror.  He blinked at that and shook his head to shake the feeling away, sitting back down to ramble about more meaningless things. “Say, Jules... When you haven’t eaten something in a while, like... I dunno, pizza, you ever just start craving it really bad?“ He asked, making Julie look at him. “Is that your way of saying you miss being able to eat deep dish pizza?“ She asked. “Yes.“

A couple of hours later, Reggie still had that weird feeling in his stomach like he wanted something but he still couldn’t figure what it was that he wanted. He just knew it came back whenever he looked at Julie. He knew it definitely wasn’t Julie that he wanted. She was Luke’s girl, even if neither of them wanted to admit it yet. He sighed softly as Luke and Alex knocked on the door to come hang out with them, watching Julie open the door for them. “What have you two been doing without us for the last two hours?“ Luke asked as he sat next to Reggie, Alex leaning against the wall with a love struck look on his face, probably thinking about his date with Willie.

“Oh, you know. Talking about pizza and the weather, reliving a couple Sunset Curve memories, watching Julie put on make up, passing around some lyric ideas.“ Reggie shrugged, leaning his head on Luke’s shoulder. “Julie’s got some really good ones, actually.“ He said with a smile. “Oh, yeah? Let’s hear ‘em, then, Jules.“ Luke grinned excitedly, making Julie blush red. “Yeah, let’s hear ‘em, superstar.“ Alex nodded, attention shifting to Julie and her lyrics.

Julie chuckled and sang a couple lyrics she wrote down, blushing at the smitten look Luke was giving her the whole time. “So, umm... Yeah. That’s what we have.“ She said, tucking a curl behind her ear. “Julie, that sounds amazing.“ Luke said and Alex nodded in agreement, patting her back. Julie rolled her eyes and shook her head, walking toward Reggie.

“Yeah, yeah. Enough about me. What about you, Reg? Are you ok? You’ve been acting off and you keep giving me a weird look.“ She told him, concern in her eyes as she put a comforting hand on his shoulder. “What? No. No, I’m fine.“ He shook his head, leaning into her touch. “You sure? that look’s been there since our little make up talk.“ She pointed out, making him blush.

“Can you elaborate a little on “make up talk”?“ Alex asked, sitting at the edge of the bed. “What all happened?“ He asked and Reggie sighed, shaking his head. He knew his boys. He knew he wasn’t going to get out of this easily. “Julie was doing her make up just for fun and I made a joke about it and Julie set me straight.“ He said, glancing at Julie. “Sorry again.“ He said, shifting awkwardly under everyone’s gaze.

Julie sighed, shaking her head. “Come on, Reg. What’s going on? Do you want some eyeliner, too?“ She asked, making him stop and blink. Oh. He hadn’t even thought to consider that maybe he just wanted to try on some eyeliner, too. Maybe Julie was right. Maybe that’s what was bothering him the last couple of hours. He just wanted to try it on. “Um... Yeah.“ He said shyly.

Julie smiled and grabbed the pencil again, standing in front of Reggie. “Ok, close your eyes. It will be easier to put it on that way.“ She instructed so he closed his eyes with a smile, cringing a little when he felt the pencil against his eyelid which was honestly stupid. He was a ghost! He was literally made of air! Why did he have to feel a pencil against his eyes and why did it have to be uncomfortable?

“Stop fidgeting. I’m going to mess it up or stab you.“ Julie huffed, putting a hand on his shoulder. “Stay still. Just for two minutes, buddy.“ Reggie sighed and took a deep breath, closing his eyes and steeling himself so he didn’t move while Julie did his eyeliner.

With only a little bit of struggling and cringing, she was done after two minutes and held the compact mirror up to his face to look at himself. “So? How you feel?” She asked with a smile. Reggie looked at his reflection in the mirror, his breath catching as he took in the eyeliner. If he was being honest, he felt pretty damn hot. He said as much, making his friends all laugh fondly at him.

“You do look pretty hot, you know. You could wear eyeliner when we perform tomorrow. The girls will go crazy for you.“ Julie smirked, crossing her arms. “Julie’s right, dude. You look good this way.“ Alex said with a smile. “You look so confident.“ Reggie grinned and lowered his gaze, almost giddy at the thought of wearing eyeliner to their gig tomorrow. “I feel- I feel really good. I like this.“ He said, nodding quickly. “Now I get the whole “wearing make up just for fun and just for you” thing.“

“So does that mean the best bassist in the afterlife wearing eyeliner will be a regular thing now?“ Luke asked with a grin, feeling like he already knew the answer to that question. Reggie turned to him with a smile and nodded. “Yeah. I think eyeliner is officially a Reggie thing. I want to wear it all the time now. I feel more like me now.“ He said, admiring Julie’s handiwork in the mirror again. Julie smiled and hugged Reggie, giggling when she felt Luke and Alex join in on the hug. Reggie smiled and let out a content sigh, glad he had the three best friends in the world to support him through everything.
