Meanwhile in Evergreen Harbor:

The Hecking-Feldman-Chen-Liao family is celebrating Spooky day at home. Megan and Tess are dressed up in couples costumes with Tess as heroic part-alien Captain Sigma and Megan as Renée Redmond*, Captain Sigma's nemesis/lover in one movie. Chrissy and Luna also dressed up in couples costumes, with Chrissy as a forest fairy and Luna as an arachnid witch. Their son Hamuera dressed up as a pirate to match with his cousin Emily. The two cousins carve pumpkins together to put outside and when Hamuera’s done, he gets shocked by something and gasps. I was looking around like what happened but I'm still not sure. 👀😅

Cam and Piper head home and find their respective family members outside the townhouse. They greet their loved ones and invite them all inside. While Piper spends time with her auntie Tess, moms, and brother, Cam catches up with her mom and Piper’s auntie Megan. "Did you get taller?" Megan jokes and Cam grins. "No, maybe you got shorter*, auntie Megs." She teases as Megan’s eyes widen before she laughs. "You're just like your auntie Iseul. She's always teasing me too." Megan says playfully. Plus, Megan asks Paenji how she and Min Jun are doing. "Good, it's been weird to have an empty house now with Cece married and in Henford on Bagley and Cammy at university, but it has its benefits now that we have more alone time." Paenji says, her eyes sparkling. "Umma, please." Cam says, making a face as Paenji and Megan laugh.

Emily hangs out with her cousin Hamuera, ma, and her auntie Iseul. After that, Tess goes outside cause she’s hungry as heck and eats a bowl of something that I forgot what it is but she looks cute and goofy doing so. 🤔😄

Back to the main universe:

Hamuera hangs out with his ma while he does some cross stitching. "Ma, I like your outfit. The green top is very cute." He says to Chrissy, who smiles. "Thanks nooboo." She says. The two are joined by Hamuera’s other mom Luna. She says hi to Hamuera before flirting with her wife, making Hamuera grimace playfully. "Mom, ma, please. No one wants to see all that." He jokes in a scandalized voice and Luna makes a playful face at him but laughs as well.

Luna, Chrissy, Paenji, and Hamuera have a late lunch/early dinner with Cam and Piper in the dining area, and then head back home. Piper and Cam decide to stay a while longer, and Piper sits with Cam as she builds a computer chip in the robotics lab upstairs. "Cammy, you look so hot when you weld." Piper says, fanning her face. "I am hot Pipes, the flames on this blowtorch are intense." Cam jokes back, blowing Piper a kiss. "You know what I meant, Kang." Piper teases back and Cam smiles before turning back to her computer chip.

Cam then refines her class project, and once it's outstanding quality, she goes in to to present it*. She comes back feeling relieved to mark one thing off, and runs into Piper outside their room. "Hey you," Piper says, smiling softly at Cam. "Hey," Cam says, and she pulls Piper into a kiss before kissing her neck. "Wow, okay." Piper says, blushing as Cam pulls away from her a minute later. "Sorry, you just looked so cute I had to." Cam says, grinning and Piper laughs. "I definitely don't mind Kang." She says flirtatiously.

An hour later, Cam and Piper head to Larry's Lagoon commons. They're met by Cam's mom and Piper’s moms and baby brother brother Hamuera. Cam and Piper hug their respective family members before the group walks inside together.

I had Tess, Luna, Chrissy, Megan, and their respective kids visit Tess’s moms’ house in Willow Creek. Unfortunately they got there so late that all there was left to do was sleep. Tess and Megan slept in Tess’s old bedroom on the third floor, Piper, Hamuera and Emily slept in the large as heck kids room that Olivia and Angie had set up on the second floor, and Luna and Chrissy took the guest bedroom on the first floor.

After school, Cam and Kiran come over to hang out with Piper and Emily respectively. While Piper flirts and checks in with her girlfriend Cam, Emily hugs her friend Kiran. Plus, Iseul comes over to hang out with Megan and Tess, and Hamuera greets her. "Hey auntie Is*." He says. "Hey Hamuera. How was school?" Hamuera makes a face. "Mostly okay. Auntie Is, can I ask you for advice?" Iseul nods. "How the heck do you ask out a cute girl when you're awkward as heck and have a hard time looking her in the eyes because you keep getting shy?" Iseul smiles. "Oh okay. I'd say work up to it, like maybe ask her to do something casual like hangout and then see if she feels the same way for you and ask her once you're more comfortable with her." Iseul says, and Hamuera nods. "It sounds so simple but I still feel throwing up and fainting at the same time when I think about it." He confesses anxiously, and Iseul nods, patting him on the shoulder. "Okay, just start with asking her to hang out and see where it leads." Iseul says. "Thanks auntie Is. I know you're technically Cam's auntie, and Piper’s future auntie-in-law, but it's nice having you around. You and auntie Megan are like my cool old person aunties." He half-jokes, and Iseul laughs. "Thanks a lot, Hamuera." She says.

Meanwhile, Piper and Cam head to Piper’s house in Evergreen Harbor. As soon as Piper steps out of the Smuber, she rushes to the porch where her mom is standing and hugs her tightly. "Mom! I missed you so much." She says, and Luna blinks back tears as she hugs her oldest nooboo. "I missed you too, Pipes." She says. "The house just isn't the same without your chatter and singing and loudness." She adds teasingly, and Piper grins. While Cam greets Luna, Piper goes to say hi to her other family members, and everyone is happy to see her. Piper cries again when she sees her baby brother, and he teases her lovingly but blinks back tears too. "You're a fartface but I miss you." Hamuera says to her, and Piper snorts through her tears. "Same here, Butthead." She jokes and they laugh and hug again. Plus, Piper hugs her mama, who holds her tightly and jokes that she won’t let Piper go back to college before breaking away and just looking at Piper and trying not to cry herself, and she hugs her auntie Megan and cousin Emily who also tell her they’ve missed her. Megan tells her that Tess is out for a quick moonlit jog but she’ll be back in 15 minutes.

It was finally time to age Cam and Piper up so I could send them off to Foxbury. Technically Cam turns 18 in June and Piper turns 18 in October but I was like let me just age both of them up into young adults together.

Cam’s house is a bit more spacious, so I added Piper to the household and threw a party with the household members as hosts so I could invite a bunch of sims. I invited Piper’s moms, brother, aunties Megan and Tess, cousins Emily, Amir and Safiya, as well as her grandmas and grandpas on both sides, and her great-grandma Alicia and her partner Dani. For Cam’s side, it was her parents, (I think her maternal grandparents too), her auntie Iseul and Iseul’s girlfriend Grace, her sister Cece and Cece’ wife Hanh.

Iseul chats with her brother as he makes the cake for both teens and she tries to tamp down on her sappiness. “It seems like just yesterday you and Paenji called me to the hospital when Cammy was born, and she was this tiny baby, and now she’s turning 18.” Iseul says, smiling as she thinks back on holding her niece as a baby at the hospital, joking how tiny and potato-like she was, and being sappy as heck as then-baby Cam wrapped her hand around Iseul’s finger as she held her. “I know.” Min Jun says, blinking rapidly to stop from crying. “My little girl, and now she’s going to college.” He says and Iseul nods. “Appa, auntie Is, save the sappiness for the day you guys drop me off at my dorm.” Cam calls playfully from the dining table, where she’s sitting with her mom, Paenji. “Oh, your dad and mom and I are going to be crying that whole day.” Iseul half-jokes, and Cam rolls her eyes but smiles. She feels sappy as well, knowing she’s going to go and live at Foxbury that coming Fall semester. It’s scary as heck, but a good change.

All the guests arrive, and Cam and Piper both blow out the candles on the cake, and age up. This made me sappy as well, and I was like 🥺 as I took the photos. 😊

Back at the Hecking-Feldman-Chen-Liao household*, it's a bit late so everyone's in a sleepy mood. Luna passes by her son Hamuera, who's knocked out on the back patio's bench. She gently wakes him and tells him to go upstairs and head to bed. Hamuera nods through a yawn, and goes upstairs.

In Piper’s room, her girlfriend Cam is over to visit her. They stay up for a bit, flirting and talking, before Piper suggests they woohoo. Cam agrees, and after that they snuggle up in Piper’s bed and drift off.

Meanwhile, Tess and Megan snuggle up together too, and the next morning Tess gets up first. She yawns and stretches before looking down at her sleeping wife. She smiles as Megan sighs in her sleep and her heart melts a bit. Tess has been in love with Megan since they met in Selvadorada, when Tess ran into her at a hostel they both stayed at and they'd had a vacation fling and Tess had fallen for her. They’d started seeing each other after that, and Tess knew Megan was the one, and in a year and a half, she’d proposed and they’d gotten married and had their third nooboo. Married life wasn’t perfect, but it was amazing, and Tess felt like if she had to do it all over again, she would.

Later that night (since I accidentally had Megan stay at Iseul’s place for longer) Megan and Iseul head to the spice festival with Iseul’s brother Min Jun and Megan’s wife Tess, daughter Emily, and niblings Piper and Hamuera. Iseul hugs her older brother while Megan catches up with Tess and the kids, and Tess’s pack alpha/Megan’s sister-in-law Rory.

After that, Cam heads inside and talks to Piper's brother Hamuera. "I like your T-shirt, Mera." She says, and Hamuera grins, looking down at it. "Thanks, I got it with my friend Lola." He says, blushing a bit as Cam gives him a teasing look. Cam hugs Piper's ma, Chrissy, who asks about Cam's classes and they geek out about the latest invention they heard about. Chrissy's also excited to hear that Cam has an internship with a nearby engineering firm and congratulates her before adding, "You probably know this already, but Luna and I consider you as a daughter to us and we're so happy that you're with our Pipes," Chrissy says and Cam smiles. "That means so much, Chrissy. Thank you." Cam says, blinking back some tears and trying not to get sappy as Chrissy hugs her again.

Back in the Hecking-Feldman-Chen-Liao household, Megan’s parents Biyu and Haoran, Tess’s moms Angie and Olivia, and Megan’s oldest two kids Safiya and Amir came over. Megan hugged her parents and her two oldest nooboos and chatted with her moms-in-law as well. Emily was happy to have both grandparents and her siblings over, and Piper and Hamuera were happy to see their cousins great-aunties and great-uncle.

Hamuera sat and talked with his cousin Amir. “So, you’re going to Britchester?” He asked. “Yup, I’ll be school rivals with Pipes and her GF Cam.” Amir added jokingly as he glanced at his other cousin Piper. “Yeah, yeah.” Piper grumbled good naturedly but she smiled. “What about you, H?” Amir asked. “Foxbury's my first pick, I love the campus and ma says it has a great science department.” He added. Amir nodded. Amir chatted with Safiya and Pipe while Hamuera blew bubbles and watched them float through the air, reflecting in the light. I feel like this interation is pretty cute, especially when sims get that look of wonder in their eyes at the bubbles. 😊

After welcoming Tess and Megan back home, everyone headed to bed. Chrissy snuggled up with Luna, Hamuera headed to his room, Emily headed to her room (she was sleeping in the main house's guest room while her moms were on vacation because her room seemed too empty and spooky), and Tess snuggled with Megan in their room.

Currently I have Tess, Megs, and Emily in the same household as Luna, Chrissy, Piper, Hamuera, and Gus but I'm thinking with the new pack I'll create a two household situation so they'll live together but I can switch between the two and it won't feel so overcrowded with eight sims at once.

The next day, Emily’s in a much better mood. She has breakfast with her family, and then gets dressed for the day before heading back to the kitchen.

"Hey Mera." Emily says to her cousin, plonking down at a chair. "Hey Emmy." Hamuera says, smiling. "So, your moms told me you came home upset yesterday." Hamuera says. Emily nods, biting her lip. "It's stupid. I got jealous and was a butt to Kiran and Rahul." Emily admits. Hamuera nods. "Did you talk to Kiran?" He asks. "Not yet, but they're coming over today so we'll talk." Emily says.

Emily runs into her mom outside the kitchen, and she gives her a hug. "Mom, you just saw me twenty minutes ago." Emily says. "I know. I just want to make sure you're okay, nooboo." Megan says. "I am, I mean it sucks that Kiran's going out with Rahul but I know I acted like a butt to them." Emily says. Megan nods, scanning Emily's face. "It's gonna be okay, snugglebug. There's so many sims out there who you'll meet and like." Megan says gently. Emily nods, but in her mind she's not sure if she'll ever like anyone like she likes Kiran.

Megan also talks with her nephew Hamuera, and he asks her for advice on his crush, Lola. "Ask her to go on a group outing and then see if you connect more." Megan says, and Hamuera nods, considering it. "Okay, thanks auntie Megs." He says.
