- HAND IN HAND. The cutest bar soap that happens to be sustainable and give back to communities in need. Perfect.

- LUSH is one of those companies that continues to do everything well, despite being a behemoth global chain found in every-other shopping mall. All of their plastic packaging is made out of recycled products, and you can recycle the notoriously-hard-to-recycle caps in-store. Plus, they tell you who made your individual handwash / bath bomb / scrub! S’cute.

- Make something yourself! There are loads of great recipes for skincare at Kale & Caramel and other sites. Put it in a mason jar and wrap a ribbon around it. Ta-da!

2. Homeware

- BLOCKSHOP. Their products are handmade and ethical, not to mention gorgeous. Big favorites include their pillowcases and cloth napkins.

- BUYMEONCE. Can’t vouch for this one personally, but the name says it all. Sustainable, long-lasting products that are made in the US.

- Your local farmer’s market or co-op! I get a lot of christmas shopping done there.

3. Clothes / Shoes / Accessories

- VEJA is a new brand for me, but one I’m absolutely stoked about. They are a French company that *doesn’t* ravage ecosystems to raise cattle, so that’s cool. Check out their vegan footwear with sustainably-harvested rubber.

- GIRLFRIEND COLLECTIVE makes bras and leggings and other neat things out of recycled plastic! Pretty sweet. Plus they champion ethical production and body-image-friendly modeling.

- SANDQVIST. I’ve been singing their praises for years, but as the Swedish backpack company has expanded they’ve managed to stay ethical and sustainable. A bit pricey, but their products really last.

- BLUE PLANET EYEWEAR makes sunglasses out of reclaimed and recycled plastics. Plus they make you look coooool.

Still can’t figure out what to get for your honey / mom / brother?

Donate money.

Seriously. Most of us already have enough stuff in our lives, but there are loads of organizations that will make better use of that cash than you will. Here are a few:

- International Rescue Committee. These are the people who get families out of war zones in Syria and the like. So, they need all the help they can get.

- Consider anti-homelessness charities like Shelter in the U.K., TECHO in South America, and the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans in the U.S. This time of year is hard for everybody, especially if you don’t have a warm place to sleep.

- Anti-plastic / plastic clean-up organizations like the 5 Gyres Institute help get plastic out of the ocean. See: ‘they need all the help they can get.’

It's my favorite store and I was wondering if you could write about RFA + V & Saeran trying out stuff with MC, like a SFW bath together reacting to the bath bomb, or using a massage bar, or face masks together. Lol this is really specific but I was amazed when I first tried their stuff and I was wondering if you think that they would like them.

Thanks to school stress, Yoosung’s normally clean skin was an oily nightmare

Stressing out over a multitude of work projects is enough to give anyone bad skin, especially in Jaehee’s case

She’s in awe at the variety of products but she lets you handle the purchasing since she has no idea what to pick

After going home, you show Jaehee how to use a face scrub to scrub all of her worries away

The shop is courtesy of Heather Swanepel who handcrafts small batches of products to ensure quality and freshness. Using the best, ethically sourced ingredients, Rinse’s collection of body products are 93 to 100 percent natural and will leave you looking and feeling fresh. In addition, and exclusive to the Downtown Disney District location will be Rinse’s tub truffles, pure essential oils, diffusers and the k9 Wash + Spray that is designed to keep your pets refreshed.
