POSITIVE SCREAM TIME

So I saw Heathers live yesterday and had the time of my life!! 

The theatre was actually really small, almost like a movie theatre, but the set design, the lighting, the cast was absolutely spectacular!! Some things were dragged out or made less dramatic but I hung onto every minute of it!!  Without further ado, and in no coherent, particular order or structure whatsoever, my ramble!

LIGHTS

SINGING 

THE COFFIN RIPPED OFF BLACK TO RAINBOW 

CONFETTI BURST FROM THE CEILING (I grabbed a single piece) 

AND THEY WORE RAINBOW UNDERWEAR THE MOST ENTERTAINING THING I SWEAR 

AAAAAAAAAA EVERYTHING ELSE

HEATHER CHANDLER WAS AN ICON VERONICA WAS ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH JD IN ACT 1 - Like absolutely obsessed 

 AND DEAD GIRL WALKING WAS THE BEST THINGGGGGG 

LITERALLY THEY DID IT ON TOP OF THE LOCKER AND BROUGHT IT INTO THE CENTRE AND LIGHTING 

Beautiful was niceeeee - Just an awesome introduction loved all the ensemble stuff 

CANDY STORE YESYEYSYESYYES

Fight For Me was my mum’s fave act 1 song and it was funnyyyyyy 

YOU’RE WELCOME WAS GOOD 

And Never Shut Up Again was alright- Didn’t really like Duke 

OK OUR LOVE IS GOD SHE WAS FREAKING GASPING WHEN HE HELD HER LIKE SHIT IT WAS GOOD 

She wasn’t so dramatic on the “you’re unconscious right Ram?! RAM-“ 

Big Fun was chill Martha and Veronica did a cute lil dance 

Me Inside Of Me with the period joke?! ON POINTTTTT- Little bit lame with Chandler tho 

Prom Or Hell got me laughing 

SEVENTEEN WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING THE HARMONIES AND JD WAS KIND OF QUESTIONING IT ALL JD WAS HOT MAN 

Shine A Light was so catchy and so good performance wise!! Like not my favourite to listen to but PERFORMANCE 

Ms Fleming overdid it (it being the ‘picks out a Steve in the audience and talks to him’) 

I Say No was awesomeee 

Kindergarten Boyfriend was SAD bc in the first verse with the scab and locket they did like a memory thing on the floor with a young Martha and Rammmmm

MEANT TO BE YOURS WAS GOLDENNNNN LIKE I CAN’T SHE HID HERSELF IN THE CLOSET AND SPRUNG OUT AT THE END AND HE HAD A MENTAL BREAKDOWN AND POINTED THE GUN AT HIS HEAD BUT THEN THE PARENTS 

The end was PRECIOUS THE AUDIENCE WAS CHEERINGGGGGG
