Hillary (Ellenia) wears a crudely designed; Ao Tac a traditional dress worn by Vietnamese during the Nguyen Dynasty. It's not the said dress per-say but the structure of it is there.

Princia on the other hand wears a simple but elegant dress, based on one of the posts made by the creator with a slight variation. Just a fun alteration/trivia. Sadie's just wearing a green sweater in honor of the Viller twin's Slytherin color.

the RCM being limited to using exclusively muzzleloaders (or exclusively non-jacketed ammunition, uncertain) as service pistols is one of my favorite bits of world building from disco elysium, and i love how, visually, harry’s pepper box pistol makes no sense whatsoever. Why does the 9mm bullet obviously have a shell casing if it’s a muzzleloader, why does it have a rim, why is it copper colored if it’s supposed to have an unjacketed. Kim has to tamp down the ammunition for his (much simpler) pistol with a ramrod, which makes sense, but if we’re to take the visual representation of the 9mm at face value it implies Harry’s Villiers is a breach loading firearm. However this goes contrary to most of the dialogue as breach-loading weapons of all make are suggested to be highly rare, exclusive, and beyond the reach of the average RCM officer. In the case of any muzzle loader, Kim’s, Harry’s, or Ruby’s, if they are as they’re described they’d also need a method of ignition, like a percussion cap, but this is never mentioned or shown. Ultimately none of this matters whatsoever and I think the way Disco Elysium handles firearms is really cool, but if they wanted to make my pedant’s heart flutter just a little bit more the cartridges would look like this

What do the guys have for gem weapons? Harrys gem is on his back like lapis lazuli so does he have like a special power instead like she had her water control? Does the damage to harrys gem affect his abilities? Can he still fuse?

I leave this open for discussion since I actually am not totally decided yet with some of these, so please reply or inbox if you have ideas for this / weapons / abilities of Harry and other gemsonas as part of this AU. My personal ideas under the read more but again these are not concrete by any means lol

What I can say is that I really, really like the disco ball imagery and would suggest that Harry has both psychic abilities and light / color manipulation powers. As a weapon, if he can summon one it would likely be a giant "wrecking ball" / flail, similar to Sugilite, except with a sort of disco ball at the end. The handle would be engraved with 'sunrise, parabellum', in reference to his Villiers 9mm pepperbox pistol in the game. Harry is a wrecking ball of a person, hard hitting, explosive, and leaving plenty of destruction and chaos in his wake. His nostalgia for the past (disco being a symbol of this) can be violent. I'll draw something for this soon but again I am entirely open to ideas as this is the part I'm not as comfortable with deciding upon immediately and would really appreciate input.

I would say, yes, he can still fuse, but his fusions are incredibly unstable and it takes him a lot of time and effort to do so again after his damage occurred. Funny enough, the idea for this entire AU was so I could design a Harry / Kim fusion, but the entire crossover became more interesting to me than a one-off drawing. However, when I finally figure it out I will definitely illustrate his possible fusions, like Harry / Kim and Jean / Harry and so on.

Hmmmmmm you make a really good point because I already see het fans joining the fandom (Harries and Swifties) and they're already shipping him with women and straight defending. It'll get worse when the movie comes out. It makes me wonder why closeted actors take het roles that will make it harder for them to CO later. But I suppose they want to show how versatile they are and they want to grow as an actor and try different things and if they want to become a household name then they won't get there on queer roles alone because like 10% of roles are queer. I wish closeted actors refused to talk about their sexuality or private life at all but it's hard when interviewers always bring it up and it's what fans care about, and obviously het people outnumber queer people by a lot so they'll always be the target for these interviews.

I'm not sure though if tioy comes out before or after m&g. Tioy filmed before m&g but every update account on twitter says that m&g will come out first (maybe because of the ongoing strikes?).

I thought he knew spanish since his mother is spanish? That would be the most obvious explanation. I haven't seen the interview in question, so i can't really comment.

Closeted actors takes straight roles, because if they only did queer roles, people would assume they were queer, and most likely have a mostly queer fanbase, and then they might as well come out. If they don't ever have aspirations of taking straight roles, there's also hardly potential fan loss. The loss only happens when you do both and your fame comes to a point where you can't satisfy either side anymore. The queerbaiting accusations becomes too loud, and the hets are projecting and defending you from people who thinks you're queer. At the same time, if you are queer, you have your own community saying you are fake representation since you are straight presenting. It's a bind and if he becomes big and gains a big het fanbase in addition to his current mostly queer fanbase, he has to make several decisions i think.
