SUPPORTING PALESTINE / VOTING A 3RD PARTY CANDIDATE:
US CITIZENS PLS READ:
Since Biden and Trump are both trash, I feel like voters who care about Palestine will inevitably be stuck between not voting at all or voting for a 3rd party candidate. Let me help you sort some of that out some possible MISCONCEPTIONS:
'Voting for a third party will get a republican in power. Rather than break up the democratic vote and get Trump in power again, I'd rather take the safe route and vote for genocide joe' I hope reading the statement out loud yourself will bring you to your senses. Voting Biden this time around means continuing genocide with your OWN hands. Re-electing someone means you approve of their actions in their previous term and would like them to continue.
But isn't voting for a 3rd party candidate the same as voting for Trump, since you're just making the democratic candidate lose votes? No. Let's say I am a democrat and I vote a 3rd party candidate, and because of that, the democratic candidate loses by a small margin. That makes a statement: "If we had taken our voters who are anti-genocide seriously, we wouldn't have had this loss. Hey maybe next time, if we want this group's votes, we should take their claims more seriously, maybe then we can get their votes." Those running for congress will take notice of this too since they're also trying to get elected. This is not the same as voting for trump, which sends the message of 'I support Trump and his policies' Will this mean we might suffer another Trump presidency though? Possibly, but It's a long game we're fighting: 75 years of ethnic cleansing + American support of genocide is going to take time and strategy to dismantle. If we are disturbed about Trump being president, we must then focus our energy into the local congressional races. Having a democratic majority congress can subdue the effects of a Trump presidency.
'I don't support either Biden or Trump so I won't vote at all. That'll show them!' In America, if you don't vote, you don't count. The side with the majority of votes WILL win, whether its 100 ppl voting or the whole country voting. Not voting doesn't show anything! The ONLY way to show resistance/displeasure with candidates is if you show that: "YES I'm a voter (that could have voted for you if you supported Palestine), BUT since you support genocide, you just lost that potential vote." On the other hand, If you do not vote at all, the message elected officials are hearing is: "People who oppose the genocide are not part of elections. They don't affect whether I get elected or not, so why should I listen to their concerns?" Remember, the goal of every politician is re-election. Without being elected, they can't achieve any of their goals. And so they will listen to those who are helping them get elected, whether that's through money, or votes.
LASTLY. LISTEN UP. You might thing the presidential election is the most important but the REAL IMPORTANT ELECTIONS ARE THE LOCAL CONGRESSIONAL ONES. Congress members ( NOT the president) are the ones whose job it is to listen to the people. If you truly care about Palestine, make sure to support the VERY FEW congress-ppl who have showed their support for a ceasefire. Get them re-elected and show the people with power that- the other side might have money but we have VOTING POWER. So if they want to get elected by us, they MUST address our concerns.
TLDR:

seriously considering demonstrating outside the starbucks on my school campus cos i am sick and tired of white canadians pretending they’re not actively funding a genocide by buying their shitty ass sewage water
even when i wear my kuffiyeh i get dirty looks. people will side-step me or just flat out ignore me in class, not that i give a rats ass if representing palestine makes people uncomfortable or angry
still, no telling what these women of colonial complexion will do if i take a bigger stand and call them out on their imperialistic self indulgence

Medical Credentialing Services Explained: A Guide for Healthcare Providers
In the current fast-paced healthcare environment, provider information accuracy, efficiency, and compliance are more crucial than ever. Medical practices, hospitals, and individual providers are responsible for verifying that their credentials are current and properly submitted to insurance payers and regulatory agencies. This is where Medical Credentialing Services and provider enrollment services come into play.
What Are Medical Credentialing Services?
Medical credentialing services include the methodical process of confirmation of a health care provider's credentials. These encompass their education, training, employment history, licenses, and certifications. Credentialing verifies that health care providers are up to the standards demanded by health care facilities and insurance networks.
Without proper credentialing, providers can be denied access to payer networks, resulting in reimbursement delays or loss of revenue. An efficient physician credentialing service ensures that this is done smoothly and according to the constantly changing rules.
The Importance of Provider Enrollment Services
Provider enrollment is hand-in-hand with credentialing. After credentials have been confirmed, providers need to be enrolled with payers so they can bill for their services. This includes sending applications, supporting documents, and monitoring approvals across several payers.
Whether your organization is a small private group practice or a large healthcare system, provider enrollment is not a one-time project. There is ongoing maintenance, re-enrollment, and updating when a provider has a change of location, specialty, or employment status.
By collaborating with a reputable credentialing company in the USA, healthcare organizations can do away with administrative hassles and have a seamless run.
Why Outsource to a Physician Credentialing Company?
Outsourcing to a reputable doctor credentialing firm has many benefits:
1. Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance
Credentialing regulations are different across states, specialties, and payers. A doctor credentialing service is aware of the nuance of these regulations and remains current on compliance updates, minimizing the chances of denial or delay.
2. Improved Turnaround Times
Credentialing and enrollment may take months or weeks if done in-house. A professional firm has the technology and workforce to streamline the process without jeopardizing accuracy at each level.
3. Accuracy in Applications
Incomplete applications or missed deadlines can cost practices thousands of dollars in lost reimbursements. Credentialing professionals are taught to circumvent usual mistakes and get applications accurately the first time.
4. Patient Care Focus
By outsourcing credentialing duties, healthcare professionals are able to do what is truly important—provide quality care to their patients without being mired in administrative work.
Choosing the Right Credentialing Company in the USA
When selecting a credentialing company in the USA, consider the following factors:
Experience with your specialty and state regulations
Transparency in workflow with frequent status updates
Dedicated credentialing specialists or account managers
Individualized solutions for single providers and groups
Real-time technology tools to track credentialing status
Utilizing a company that both performs Medical Credentialing Services and enrolls healthcare providers provides consistency and no-loose-ends communication.
Credentialing Service for Physicians: Who Can Benefit?
If you're:
Physician new to a practice
Nurse practitioner embarking on independent practice
Telehealth provider practicing across multiple states
Healthcare group growing with new hires
…you need credentialing services to stay in compliance and bill insurance payers. Even old providers need re-credentialing every 2-3 years. Thus, ongoing support from a credentialing partner is essential.
Advantages of Effective Healthcare Provider Enrollment
Effective healthcare provider enrollment results in:
Speedier revenue cycle: Get paid sooner by enrolling in payer networks earlier.
Enhanced reputation: Prevent delays in service or billing gaps that can anger patients.
Regulatory compliance: Remain on the good side of CMS, commercial payers, and state boards.
Operational efficiency: Avoid wasting staff time and redundant paperwork.
What to Expect from a Credentialing Process
Here's an overview of what the majority of medical credentialing services do:
Information Collection: Obtaining provider information, licenses, certifications, and work history.
Application Submission: Completing forms for insurance payers, hospital privileges, and state boards.
Verification & Follow-up: Verifying credentials and maintaining contact with payers.
Approval & Enrollment: Receipt of payer IDs and final approval to begin billing.
A full-service credentialing service for physicians manages every step, from data collection to monitoring applications and renewals.
FAQ: Medical Credentialing & Provider Enrollment
Q1: How many days does it take to become credentialed?
Credentialing usually takes between 60 to 120 days, depending on the payer, state, and completeness of the documentation.
Q2: May I bill insurance prior to becoming credentialed?
Generally no. Pre-credential billing may lead to denied claims. Some payers permit retroactive billing, but this is not always the case.
Q3: Do I have to re-credential with the same payer?
Yes. Most insurers re-credential every 2-3 years to make sure your information is up-to-date.
Q4: Is provider enrollment distinct from credentialing?
Yes. Credentialing confirms you meet the qualifications; provider enrollment enrolls you with payers to bill for services.
Q5: What happens if my credentials expire?
You can be dropped from insurance networks, lose hospital privileges, and experience payment delays. Monitoring on an ongoing basis is crucial to avoid lapses.
Conclusion
Medical credentialing and provider enrollment are the building blocks of a successful medical practice. Whether you are an individual provider or an organization with many physicians, using a trusted physician credentialing firm streamlines the process, expedites approvals, and protects your revenue.
With the ideal credentialing firm in the USA, you can concentrate on providing superior care while professionals manage paperwork. Avoid having administrative obstacles hinder your growth—invest in professional Medical Credentialing Services and have peace of mind.

How Credentialing Companies in Los Angeles Support Telehealth Providers
The rapid expansion of telehealth services has transformed healthcare delivery, offering patients greater access to medical care while improving efficiency for providers. However, telehealth providers in Los Angeles face significant regulatory, administrative, and insurance-related challenges that can hinder their ability to operate effectively. Medical credentialing companies in Los Angeles play a crucial role in ensuring telehealth providers meet legal and industry requirements, maintain compliance, and gain network participation with insurers. By managing the complex credentialing process, these companies help telehealth providers focus on patient care while minimizing administrative burdens and delays.
The Importance of Credentialing for Telehealth Providers
Credentialing is a mandatory process that verifies the qualifications, experience, and legitimacy of healthcare providers. It involves an extensive review of a provider’s education, training, licensure, certifications, and work history. Credentialing is essential for telehealth providers because it:
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Grants access to insurance networks and reimbursement opportunities.
Enhances provider credibility and trust with patients.
Mitigates risks associated with fraudulent or unqualified practitioners.
Challenges Faced by Telehealth Providers in Credentialing
The credentialing process is time-consuming and complex, often taking months to complete. Telehealth providers in Los Angeles encounter several key challenges, including:
State-Specific Regulations: California has strict telehealth regulations requiring providers to be licensed in the state and adhere to telehealth-specific policies, making credentialing more intricate.
Insurance Panel Limitations: Many insurers have limited spots for providers, leading to rejections or long wait times for approval.
Frequent Regulatory Changes: As telehealth evolves, so do credentialing requirements, requiring providers to stay updated on policy modifications.
Credentialing Delays: Paperwork errors, missing documentation, and verification delays can postpone the approval process, affecting revenue flow.
Medicare and Medicaid Compliance: Federal programs require extensive documentation and verification, adding another layer of complexity.
How Credentialing Companies in Los Angeles Help Telehealth Providers
Credentialing companies specialize in managing and expediting the credentialing process for healthcare providers. Their services benefit telehealth providers in multiple ways:
1. Streamlining the Credentialing Process
Credentialing companies handle the entire process, from application submission to final approval. They ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time, reducing the likelihood of rejections or delays.
2. Navigating Insurance Enrollment
Joining insurance networks is crucial for telehealth providers to receive reimbursements from private insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid. Credentialing companies work closely with insurance carriers to secure provider participation and negotiate contracts, ensuring fair reimbursement rates.
3. Ensuring Compliance with State and Federal Regulations
California has stringent telehealth regulations that providers must follow. Credentialing companies stay updated on regulatory changes and help providers maintain compliance with California’s Medical Board, HIPAA, and other legal requirements.
4. Handling Primary Source Verification
Credentialing companies verify providers' qualifications directly from original sources, including medical schools, licensing boards, and certification organizations. This ensures accuracy and legitimacy in the credentialing process.
5. Reducing Administrative Burden
Telehealth providers often lack the time and resources to navigate the credentialing process. By outsourcing credentialing, providers can focus on delivering patient care rather than dealing with complex paperwork and follow-ups.
6. Maintaining Ongoing Credentialing and Re-Credentialing
Credentialing is not a one-time process; providers must undergo periodic re-credentialing to maintain active status with insurers. Credentialing companies manage renewal deadlines, update provider information, and prevent lapses in participation.
Benefits of Using Credentialing Services for Telehealth Providers
Outsourcing credentialing to a professional company provides numerous advantages, including:
Faster Approvals: Expert handling reduces errors and expedites the process.
Increased Revenue Opportunities: Participation in insurance networks allows providers to bill for a broader range of services.
Enhanced Compliance: Credentialing companies ensure providers meet all legal and accreditation requirements.
Reduced Risk: Thorough verification protects providers from legal or financial consequences due to compliance failures.
Better Focus on Patient Care: By eliminating administrative burdens, providers can dedicate more time to serving patients.
Conclusion
As telehealth continues to revolutionize healthcare in Los Angeles, proper credentialing remains a critical component for provider success. Credentialing companies play a vital role in supporting telehealth providers by handling complex credentialing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating insurance enrollment. By partnering with a credentialing service, telehealth providers can focus on delivering high-quality care while securing their place in an increasingly competitive healthcare landscape.

if I've learned anything from grad school it's to check your sources, and this has proven invaluable in the dozens of instances when I've had an MBA-type try to tell me something about finances or leadership. Case in point:
Tumblr media
Firefox serves me clickbaity articles through Pocket, which is fine because I like Firefox. But sometimes an article makes me curious. I'm pretty anal about my finances, and I wondered if this article was, as I suspected, total horseshit, or could potentially benefit me and help me get my spending under control. So let's check the article in question.
It mostly seems like common sense. "...track expenses and income for at least a month before setting a budget...How much money do I have or earn? How much do I want to save?" Basic shit like that. But then I get to this section:
Tumblr media
This sounds fucking made up to me. And thankfully, they've provided a source to their claim that "research has repeatedly shown" that writing things down changes behavior. First mistake. What research is this?
Tumblr media
Forbes, naturally, my #1 source for absolute dogshit fart-sniffing financial schlock. Forbes is the type of website that guy from high school who constantly posts on linkedin trawls daily for little articles like this that make him feel better about refusing to pay for a decent package for his employees' healthcare (I'm from the United States, a barbaric, conflict-ridden country in the throes of civil unrest, so obsessed with violence that its warlords prioritize weapons over universal medical coverage. I digress). Forbes constantly posts shit like this, and I constantly spend my time at leadership seminars debunking poor consultants who get paid to read these claims credulously. Look at this highlighted text. Does it make sense to you that simply writing your financial goals down would result in a 10x increase in your income? Because if it does, let me make you an offer on this sick ass bridge.
Thankfully, Forbes also makes the mistake of citing their sources. Let's check to see where this hyperlink goes:
Tumblr media
SidSavara. I've never heard of this site, but the About section tells me that Sid is "a technology leader who empowers teams to grow into their best selves. He is a life-long learner enjoys developing software, leading teams in delivering mission critical projects, playing guitar and watching football and basketball."
That doesn't mean anything. What are his LinkedIn credentials? With the caveat that anyone can lie on Linkedin, Mr. Savara appears to be a Software Engineer. Which is fine! I'm glad software engineers exist! But Sid's got nothing in his professional history which suggests he knows shit about finance. So I'm already pretty skeptical of his website, which is increasingly looking like a personal fart-huffing blog.
The article itself repeats the credulous claim made in the Forbes story earlier, but this time, provides no link for the 3% story. Mr. Savara is smarter than his colleages at Forbes, it's much wiser to just make shit up.
HOWEVER. I am not the first person to have followed this rabbit hole. Because at the very top of this article, there is a disclaimer.
Tumblr media
Uh oh!
Sid's been called out before, and in the follow up to this article, he reveals the truth.
Tumblr media
You can guess where this is going.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So to go back to the VERY beginning of this post, both Pocket/Good Housekeeping and Forbes failed to do even the most basic of research, taking the wild claim that writing down your budget may increase your income by 10x on good faith and the word of a(n admittedly honest about his shortcomings) software engineer.
Why did I spend 30 minutes to make a tumblr post about this? Mostly to show off how smart I am, but also to remind folks of just how flimsy any claim on the internet can be. Click those links, follow those sources, and when the sources stop linking, ask why.
