I don't think Heidi really gave a shit about that cape, she just saw it as an easy few grand* for her to splurge on more shitass dresses for herself. (*$130 a pop, she wants 30, so she's expecting to get $3,900 for a cape that doesn't really pair with many outfits all that well.) I think she only wore the sample one once for a promotional picture, and once she posted it for sale, she basically forgot about it.

I mean, most of her recent campaigns involved her ignoring them until the last day or two, so I'm not surprised about her not advertising it at all. You do have a point about her not wearing the prototype, even when she wasn't actively advertising her other campaigns she at least wore the prototype for it everywhere she went, that part is actually a change in her usual store promotion routine.

Listen I’m not going to invalidate Holly and her experiences in her previous marriage and all, if she’s saying it happened then we don’t have any evidence aside from opinions to decide that it’s made up at the end of the day.

But she needs to stop trying to rewrite and respin drama that happened years ago. Nothing she says now is going to make people change their minds on the situation and even if her marriage was abusive and horrible it doesn’t paint her as a martyr or the one in the right - she still struck up a relationship with a creeper that was married at the time and slandered her friend in pursuit of that relationship. Kind of a mirror of Jared and his “Heidi was abusive so I got a pass to do whatever obviously”

All I'll say is that I'm a cynical bitch. There are several things that have me questioning and doubting - but none of my suspicions matter. It's very much a "he said, she said" situation right now, unless Ross follows through on the legal recourse he apparently mentioned in a stream last night and some of the details wind up spilling onto the internet.

Did Heidi move back in with her parents? She posted some tweets about her parents adopting another cat, but her phrasing sounds like she's living there with them. I.E.: "We're not replacing Bean" (sounds like she's choosing with them, if it was just her parents adopting the cat, why say "we" and not "they"?) or "She'll come home Thursday" (said as if it's the place she's living in too.) I think she vaguely mentioned having to move again a while ago, maybe that's where she went.

Hard to tell, I see the point you're making but you know that her ass-licking whiteknights will swear that she was using the "royal we" and not that she's actually living with them, even though she's phrasing it like she's a major part of the decision making process, which if she's not living with them I question why she's so spoiled that she's deciding on a pet for her parents that she wouldn't be living with.

I saw that tweet, I was surprised that she would be that crass with a joke like that, although I guarantee that her asshole sniffing whiteknights are going to screech that it's just a joke and she should get a pass for it, even though we all know that she always gets a pass because she's their precious forest nymph apple queen.

Right after you posted about her losing a sale on the rose dress, she suddenly got back to 15 sales. Manipulating numbers again?

I'm assuming that you made this comment sometime last night or early this morning, because she actually changed it again at the last minute, dropping the goal again to 20 sales before apparently saying "fuck it" and going through with the production anyway. Allegedly she had to convince the manufacturer to agree to the smaller goal, so go ahead and take that with as many grains of salt as you need. It wasn't until she dropped the goal to the point where it's basically completed when she was finally able to get past that 15 sale block, assuming it's not her slowly buying up the last five, since she already said she's going to do that.

That essay from the one anon got me to thinking...What WAS Heidi's endgame back in 2019? Even if Jared never came back to defend himself and Holly was successfully bullied by Heidi's flying monkeys into staying off the internet for good, eventually the drama would have died down and people would move on from her anyway. Was she expecting another guy with a high income and/or popularity to come around feeling bad for her and pick up where Jared left her, or was she really expecting to post "I'm a victim and my ex is a really awful person" several times a week for the rest of her life and get sympathy donations for it? If she was expecting the latter, that's extremely shortsighted for her.

Keep in mind, anon, Heidi's ability to see past her own nose is next to nothing, she's shown herself time and time again to be incredibly shortsighted and refuses to look at the long term. So I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if she was actually expecting to get free money by screeching about her ex husband until the end of time.

Heidi not posting on Twitter has me thinking...She's really shit at promoting herself.

Her shop Twitter, when she's not just retweeting other people, is her latching onto whatever is her most recent preorder campaign or one-off single item and promoting that and that alone for a month at a time or longer, ignoring everything else she could be selling. She depends entirely on one item doing really good or her one handmade piece that she put a price tag in the hundreds of dollars to sell, and repeatedly posts about that instead of showing the variety of merch she has available.

Your blog was recently talking about how Heidi only gets sales from her followers because they have a parasocial relationship with her and they're buying her things out of pity. This isn't surprising at all, if I were a potential new customer perusing her Twitter, I would be led to believe that she only has one or two items on sale at any given time and no other merch, and it wouldn't be worth going to her store website since she's appearing to only sell that and nothing else, and following her us pointless because she sells one item for months before posting a different item for sale.

I mean shit, even her shop Twitter profile pic and header image are showing her wearing dresses that she no longer sells, because she couldn't be assed to update it to something more current.

Because she's lazy as fuck, anon, that's why you see her complaining so much about having to put any effort into working for a living. And I went to check to see if she really did stop selling the retirement home nightgowns she called dresses in her profile images, I couldn't find them listed anymore either but I found this literal pile of ugly scraps she tried to make into a dress that she's trying to sell for $275. Nothing quite like overpriced moldy looking dumpster dive fashion. 🙃

IMO I think she's trying to say making tablecloth skirts is complex because she needs to justify charging hundreds of dollars for something anyone with basic level sewing skills and a sewing machine can make in their own home for way cheaper.

Wouldn't surprise me, Heidi's all about maximizing profits while being as lazy as possible, in order to do that she'll need to convince people that she actually has advanced skills and hoping nobody notices that she's making very simplistic projects that anyone else can make for a fraction of her pricing, and would probably look better, too.

I've been off Tumblr for a long time, mostly because I've had some offline things going on that made me put this blog on hold, and to much more minor extent because Heidi wasn't doing much noteworthy other than her usual posting her overpriced and lace saturated garbage. That changed somewhat recently, but rather than individually respond to the flood of comments that I received, I'm just going to post the screenshots that I have.

It's funny because she's said a few times before that she doesn't like being in pictures and videos. Some bullshit about how she's "a simple girl who doesn't want to be perceived" or however she phrased it. And yet all she does is make videos and post photos of herself advertising her merch with her face front and center, even if it's to the detriment of the merch she's trying to promote. So more lies, she absolutely thinks that she's hot shit and uses Twitter to boost her already overinflated ego.

She has to get her narcissistic ego boost somehow. 🙃

In addition to the lack of advertising/promotion, the fact that Heidi extends deadlines and lowers sale minimums any time her campaigns are about to fail is probably why her last few of them struggled so hard. There used to be some sense of urgency in her campaigns, if she didn't get at least this number of pre-orders by this date, nobody received their purchase.

Now that she's shifting numbers around in a desperate attempt to call her campaigns successful, there's no urgency. You can wait until you have a few more paychecks in to send her $100+, she's just gonna extend the deadline anyway.

And not only that, she's extra screwing herself over because (and you pointed this out before) nobody is going to want their money floating around in Heidi's bank account for who knows how long until they either get their item or a refund. So her customers are getting more hesitant to order her clothes when it could be months before she even goes through with production.

TL;DR: Heidi's so desperate to succeed that she's causing herself to fail.

Well said, anon, although it seems like this time she didn't bother with changing the goal or extending the timefeame, she just let the cape campaign fail after it sat at three sales for weeks.

With how often she's had to lower her campaign goals to make them technically succeed, I wonder why she doesn't just say "Preorders open, whatever is ordered is what I'll make!" It's not like she's making full runs of these clothes anyway, the last few campaigns ended with her only making the amount that was ordered. Making a goal amount that can be changed whenever she wants is just pointless.

She's not making them herself, she has a manufacturer make them, I don't know what that manufacturer's minimum order size is, with how widely it varies even between similar items like the capes, I personally think that she's adding numbers to the goal and then removing the extra order slots when the campaign starts falling short, as I find it hard to believe that the manufacturer is willing to lower the minimum order themselves for nearly every single campaign.
