Helluva Boss Theory “Stolas Outfits And They Say About Him”

something i just noticed when re-watching some helluva boss episodes was stolas outfits and what they say about him as a person

this is his usual outfit

very royal, regal and just screams price, it’s a nice outfit, but i was never a really big fan of it, stolas design in general is really cool, i love his entire look, but this outfit, i never really liked it, and i didn’t really know why i didn’t like it until i saw his other outfits, such as his date outfit

this outfit, i fucking loved so much, it’s so him, it’s colourful, it has stars in it, which is what he loves, he seemed so happy in it, everything about this outfit just screams him and i figured out why i don’t like his usual outfit attire

his usual outfit attire is him putting up the persona that he’s a prince of hell, he’s supposed to maintain his image of a powerful being, and i’m not gonna lie, i don’t like his hat, it’s very over the top and a bit tacky, and in ep 7, we saw that the crown is just a part of the hat, and i think it’s symbolic to how he views his royal life, something he doesn’t really hold a lot of personal value over, a fake facade he puts up for the sake of reputation and marriage

but in his date attire is entirely something else, it’s very formal and a bit over the top, but it’s so graceful and beautiful, it does have some royal elements to it, but it’s a bit overshadowed by everything else, and this outfit was intended to be a date outfit, nothing about royalty at all, this outfit is so much like stolas himself, i can’t even describe it right, but its’ just so him in a way i don’t know how to explain it
