hindbodes replied to your photoset “Same two mice! Roan is a heck of a drug, y’all.”
What... is that breed. I want to find somebody who owns one.
Baha! The variety is called “Roan” it’s either “T1″ or “T2″ I always get them mixed up but instead of automatically roaning up when the mouse gets the coat in, it slowly morphs into the patterning as the mouse gets older!
It’s very pretty and is like a surprise with every mouse! :D

Rules: Answer 20 questions, then tag 5 bloggers that you want to get to know better.
Name: Jess
Nicknames: Not really any but Hairball did stick for a while
Age: 22
Height: About 5’4”
Orientation: A bisexual harlot
Nationality: I’m a kiwi, but I’m a half Brit as my Mum’s family comes from Leicester, England
Favourite fruit: Starwberries
Favourite season: Idk they’re all great in their own respects I guess, Summer is warm and sunny, Autumn is cooler and colourful, Winter is cold but beautiful and Spring is green and sees new life return in the form of flowers, warmth, green grass and baby animals of all kinds
Favourite plant: Hmmm, not sure, I guess I’d have to say pine trees because they’re tall and smell lovely
Favourite colour: Black like Richard Barber’s lipstick
Favourite animal: So many. I love all kinds of animals with a particular fondness for cats, dogs, sheep, horses, deer and owls
Coffer, tea or hot chocolate: Hot chocolate is the sweetest of these I guess but there’s something to be said about a good cup of tea. I hate coffee though, can’t stand it
Average sleep hours: I aim for 8 but I think I’ve been getting closer to 7, 7.5 lately, which isn’t enough for the job I do
Dog or cat person: Please, I love cats and dogs both
Favourite fictional character: I’m not really sure, I have a few
Number of blankets you sleep with: Depends on the weather, if it’s really hot I’ll just have a sheet, but I can sleep with as many as five on top of my duvet in the winter. Right now I just have the duvet and nothing on it, it’s not that cold at night right now
Blog created: I saw a friend had it when I was in my first year at uni (four years ago, sheesh :| ) and it seemed like a great way to waste my time. Turns out that was a correct. It was, and still is, a weird hodgepodge of things I like
Number of followers: 241
Random fact: I had to have my appendix out when I was nine, not long after my brothers were born. I still remember the date of the operation, being freezing cold and putting on a thermal despite having a fever of 38.8C (this was just before Mum raced me into the emergency room), what the room I stayed in looked like, the faces of two of the nurses that were looking after me following the operation, and I remember losing consciousness after being anaesthetised. They gave me a shot of general anaesthetic through my IV line and wheeled me into theatre. I remember one of the nurses comforting me telling me “it’ll be like blinking, just like blinking, you’ll close your eyes then wake up instantly”. She was right, I passed out as the surgeon and doctors were lifting me onto the table (it was really weird, I was looking into the theatre lights but instead of everything going black like falling asleep everything suddenly went white). What felt like only seconds later I’m waking up from a pitch blackness at 10:30am in a recovery room to see my grandfather standing at my bed, smiling at me

Z-Fighting is a digital phenomenon that happens when two or more shapes in a 3D simulated environment overlap and cause strange visual artifacting. It looks weird and kinda bad.
