Might only be on episode 3 of True Detective s2, but it's framed like a TTRPG campaign which keeps insisting on individual scenes between PC and dm.
#and one of the players really love their cool vaping woman. Maybe a male PC. Very expansive cult centric backstory since they read up on 70s#80s hippie movements. Sad cop man PC likes being problematic as the character but then probably backs away from it in real life.#gay cop man clearly has something he wanted to wrestle with at the table that he wanted to try out#probably straight PC#hard to tell I guess.
