Video: "Her Moaning Woke Me up" Man Cries Out in Ibadan Over Pastor Who Slept With his Wife While he Was Asleep
Tumblr media
An Ibadan-based man had narrated how he caught his wife in a compromising situation with their pastor in his one bedroom rented apartment. The man simply identified as Oluwasina Adeshina made this known on a family affairs radio programme –“Kokoro Alate” on Agidigbo 88.7fm in Ibadan. Oluwasina noted that the pastor is the rightful owner of 4 out of the 6 children he has with his wife, adding that he has sent her packing on many occasions but refused to leave his house. Narrating her own side of the ordeal, the woman, Alimat Adeshina, noted that she gave birth to twins twice and have a total of 6 children. Insisting that she never gave birth to a child for the pastor, Alimat added that the pastor had written the family of her husband noting that he had at some point had affairs with her although trying to clear her out of the mess. The then pastor of their church, Pastor Adeyele noted that the family joined his church in 2013, adding that he had affairs with her in 2014 and for the fact that the husband of the woman is good to him, he had to confess and apologise for his misdeeds. “They gave birth to twins in 2016, and I was the one who named the children. They stopped coming to my church since around 2018 because a church was established close to them. “I received a call in July 2022 and to my surprise, it was her husband who called telling me to come take my wife and my children. “I called our landlord chairman and invited the husband, he noted that his wife is the one fraustrating him and they’ve sorted the grudges. He added that he married another wife last year and since she’s aware, she’s been making life a hell for him. “In January, it got a call for an invitation from Akobo Police Station. I met the woman (Alimat) there saying that her husband had sent her parking with 6 children asking for how I could assist. I recalled the story and we were allowed to go. “I received another call from Agidigbo Radio concerning this case again that the husband claimed that I am the father of 5 of his 6 children,” the accused pastor narrated. Narrating his own side of the story, Oluwashina (husband) noted that his family started attending the pastor’s church in 2014 after his mother’s death. “The case started when the pastor told me my wife reported that I don’t dress well. I accused them of extramarital affairs then and I was later told by the pastor that my wife will get pregnant and we must not abort the child. “The pastor told us to begin a vigil together and he comes around to sleep on my bed with my wife while I sleep on the floor. The first time he came, I told my wife to come with me but insisted she’s sleeping beside the pastor. “I caught them moaning one day while they thought I was asleep, they were having a conversation and when I confronted the pastor, he accepted but told me to save his image due to his pastoral ministry. “He later came to my shop telling me to ensure no other person hears about the case if I want to remain alive that he would come back for his children when they clock 15. “My wife took my case to her family house accusing me of not taking care of the children,” Oluwasina narrated. https://youtu.be/onMmUTfxY9w Read the full article

When you buy a car, you create no wealth. But when you buy a house, you create inter-generational wealth. Your car will be a wreck by the time your child inherits it, but your house will still pay rent. Think generationally. Stop renting houses and buying new cars. That is the wealth of fools. In fact, it is better to rent cars and buy land and houses. Buy things that appreciate. Except you absolutely need them, avoid things that depreciate. They are like ice on a hot day! A landlord without car is by far better than a car Lord without house! #Memoriespremierproperties #buylandinlagos #renoomokri #lagospropertyinvesment #nigeria (at Ibadan, Nigeria) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRlpmlZrwwx/?utm_medium=tumblr

Medical doctor shares photos of an apartment in Ibadan going for N700K
A medical doctor took to Twitter to share photos of an apartment he checked out in Ibadan.   He explained that the apartment located in Bodija was advertised as one with “modern facilities”.   However, on getting there, he found the shower to be placed too low such that only a really short person can use it.   He added that the basic rent for the house is 700K Naira.     Below are some Twitter…

PERSONAL FINANCE: LESSONS MY WIFE TAUGHT ME By Bayo Adeyinka ‘The goal in marriage is not to think alike but to think together’- Robert C. Dodds Before I got married, I could buy tomorrow on credit. As a young banker then, there were many temptations to live large. I had access to credit facilities by virtue of where I work. Many peddlers of consumables also gave the opportunity of buying on credit- buy now and pay later. Many would collect post-dated cheques and allow you walk away with items of your choice. I knew quite a few of my contemporaries then whose stories were similar- they wore shirts and suits on credit, took a loan to buy their cars and went for vacation at exotic destinations on credit. There was immense peer pressure as we all wanted what the other person had even if we had to borrow to have them. The creditors waited for payday just like us. They all knew we would receive our salary credits by the 25th. By the time each one of them showed up, the salary was finished. We usually joke among ourselves that one could only live large during the week when salary was paid. After that week, we went back to living from hand to mouth. Most salary earners are poor managers of their finances mostly because they expect that salaries are guaranteed. They hardly have savings set aside and this is why when a job loss occurs, their world come crashing down. Getting married changed my perspective on personal finance and through working together with my wife, I was able to get a better hang of my finances. We’ve been married 18 years and I want to share a few personal finance lessons I imbibed during this period. 1. If rent is more than one month’s salary, then the house is too big for us to live. Let me explain. We jointly arrived at this resolution when we got married. We wanted to be able to pay for our rent from one month’s salary. The house I lived in at that time cost an annual rent of N27,000. It was a 2-bedroom flat at Ashi, Ibadan. My monthly salary was N33,000. Consequently, each time rent was due, I paid from my monthly salary. The only time I have had to save in order to pay my rent was when I just moved to Lagos- and that was once. https://www.instagram.com/p/CH0ROocAqIW/?igshid=j066gzvysaco

HARD TIMES IN BUHARI’S CHANGE REGIME • Hike In VAT, Cost Of Electricity, Petrol, Foodstuffs Unbearable, Nigerians Lament • Mass Action Looms • Petrol Marketers Back Deregulation Guardian reports As governments in other climes strive to ameliorate the adverse effects of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) through palliative measures, bailouts and waivers, the Nigerian government appears to be aggravating the impact on its citizens and businesses. Rash of hikes and increases in cost of products and services, is thereby making life unbearable and near impossible for recovery. First, it was an increase of Value Added Tax (VAT) from five to 7.5 per cent, followed by resuscitation of Stamp Duty Charge, all in the bid to boost internally generated revenue in the midst of dwindling foreign earning from crude oil. This year also witnessed the introduction of Stamp Duty on house rents and C of O transactions. But the hike in the price of petrol and the cost of electricity within a space of two weeks appears to be the tipping point. For a people most of who had all along complained of not receiving government assistance or palliative during the lockdown period, had to take pay cuts or lost their means of livelihood, these hikes, coming at a time they were gradually getting back to a new normal life is unimaginable. For labour activists, lawyer, public affairs analysts, student leaders and other Nigerians, who have bemoaned the rise in the cost of living due the resuscitation of the Stamp Duty Charge, hike in VAT, the recent increase in electricity tariff and petrol pump price amid the ravaging coronavirus (COVID-19) is already making life unbearable. Speaking with The Guardian in Ibadan, a labour activist and rights lawyer, Femi Aborisade, said: “All of the measures are punitive economic measures. While government spoils the business class, in terms of reliefs, harsh economic measures are heaped on the masses. “It shows this government is anti-ordinary people and pro-rich. The masses cannot survive, unless they organise and resist through peaceful mass actions.” But marketers of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, especially the Major Oil Marketers https://www.instagram.com/p/CEvyXDDnBZ7/?igshid=188oyepyh9vnz
