It’s Fan Fic Friday and Episode Three of Reading Between the Lines Podcast is out . . . NOW!!

Episode three: Your Life for Mine features the beautiful work of Mary, aka VVitchqueen and her compelling Eleanor introspection.

The fic itself is neat and concise, but the discussion . . . whooo boy!! Tuck in with tissues, because it’s LONG and there’s some trauma!

Once again, I want to send out a profound thank you to @magicbubblepipe for his gorgeous and super sad cover art, inspired by a shoot I did back in my hay day. When I did it, I wanted Marilyn Monroe looking in the mirror and seeing Jean Harlow, the woman from whom she’d taken most of her inspiration, from her platinum blonde hair and comedic timing to, ultimately, her untimely death.

Kelsey took that image and that idea and gave us the repressed season three Eleanor, shoved back into England’s tightly corseted grasp, looking at the freedom she sacrificed in exchange for a pardon and the comfort of Woodes Rogers’ protection. Eleanor sees what her future becomes and she mourns it.
