I was barely 6 when #HurricaneAndrew hit my hometown of #Homestead Florida on my sister’s 9th birthday. It took months for my #family rebuild but one thing is for sure, #Andrew made our family so much stronger and closer. It also made me terrified of storms to this day. Linda Somers, one of the Admins on this Facebook page didn't like that I disagreed with her post about Florida not having to worry about #HurricaneMaria so she deleted my comments on the post. When I asked why she removed them she showed poor grammar skills and bragged about her large number of followers. As far as I can tell none of the Admins are Meteorologists and Linda looks like a 20 something that was probably just a kid when #HurricaneAndrew struck. This was taken on Sunday morning at 6am. When we lost our power. We ended up regaining our power back at 6pm. So, we were pretty much without power for like 12 hours. Which isn't bad.
