Introducing Pecan Print House: A New Chapter for Our Family

I’m excited to announce a new chapter for Angie and me: we’ve started a business called Pecan Print House! As an artist, my creative practice has always centered on fostering connection, particularly in an age dominated by technology. My Removed series was born from a desire to question how smartphones and tech use can alienate us, even from those we share intimate spaces with.

In our home, we’ve always searched for ways to stay connected, organized, and grounded—without relying on our phones. With three kids under 8, there’s always a lot going on. To keep us on track, we’ve been designing and using our own bound calendars for years. These calendars became such a vital part of our lives that we decided to make them available to everyone.

Introducing Our 2025-2026 Academic Continuous Calendars and Yearly Continuous Calendars Our new line of calendars is designed to help families and students stay organized while also creating a shared connection within the home. These are not just tools for planning; they’re a way to break free from screens and cultivate intentional living.

Each calendar is printed on premium, smooth matte paper that feels amazing to write on. The design features our signature gradients—carefully selected colors that we love living with every day. These calendars are large enough to be practical (usable writing space!) and stylish enough to double as wall art.

We’re especially excited about the 2025-2026 Academic Continuous Calendar, which is perfect for students heading off to college. Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful Class of 2025 gift, a tool to help your college student stay on track, or something to keep your family organized, these calendars are designed to make life a little easier—and a lot more beautiful.

This is a true family-run business. Everything we create comes from our own brains, made for our home, crafted by our hands, and sent out into the world for others to enjoy and benefit from. Even our kids often pitch in, helping pack orders and stamp shipping tubes!

Feeling lucky to be home everyday with @angiepickersgill and Corbin and Tessa (who is about to be one month old already!) but I will also be glad when all of this is over and society can return back to normal. Corbin is generally ready to jump out the window most moments. Today also marks the 2 year anniversary of losing Angie’s beloved brother Sam. It’s difficult to explain the feeling when you put your heart into your work and then someone who truly appreciates it builds a relationship with you and then makes the leap to live with your art.
