3, 7, 11, 21, 31 for the D&D asks?
From the D&D Ask meme
3. Your favorite side quest.
One of my all-time favorite D&D characters in a 3.5 game was an Urban Druid named Keziah.  Urban Druid was one of the many alternate classes you could choose from the Dragon magazine that my GM at the time allowed because Dragon was done by Wizards of the Coast.  She was an Elf who came from a wizard/sorcerer family - she was the ‘black sheep’ of the family.  I’d have to say that my favorite side quests were all of Keziah’s personal ones.  She had all of these knowledges and skills (like cooking and research and history and apparently science) because she kept dissecting unusual creatures they wound up fighting - hell wasps, which she dissected and extracted their venom, which her party then tipped arrows and daggers with; these weird Under Dark cat-like creatures that she dissected and took the time to draw out and write up in her journals.  She was also on a quest to discover the truth behind the dwarf-elf hatred because she didn’t buy into the popular myths, so she learned dwarvish to a T and when she and her party visited one of the dwarven coastal cities, she spent a lot of time in their libraries and temples learning what she could of the culture and the ‘truth’.   7. Your favorite downtime activity.
In game?  Shopping.  I’d have to say that I’ve been overall fortunate to have GMs who’ve valued as much “roleplay” as “roll-play,” and that included lots of time spent roleplaying with NPCs in shops and taverns and marketplaces, shopping when we’d all earned up our XP and money/loot at the end of quests.  Future questions tended to rely on all of that shopping and roleplay because we always learned (no matter the game or characters) more about the cities we were in, the surrounding areas, the nobility/ruling class, and potential new quests to get involved with.
11. How often do you play and how often would you ideally like to play?
Right now, I don’t get to play at all.  I’m thinking of hitting up one of my grad school friends who offered back in early March when I got my teeth (long story) to run some online games so that I could practice talking and get used to the teeth.  Then we moved and Covid hit.  The friend is in Kyle, which is south of me, so virtual games would be ideal.  I just need to find out when he’s got time and what he might want to run so that I can get whatever books I’d need (thank Loki for PDF downloads!).   Back when I was with the ex, we were, for a while, part of three different gaming groups, which overall had the same people in them.  We gamed three nights a week (it had initially been one night a week and then expanded).  That went down to two when people’s schedules started to change, then one when the bulk of one of the groups wanted to move the game from our apartment to somewhere else, and I decided to focus on homework at that point.  After a while, even the one night we had going went down to nothing, and it’s been off and on since.  Well, it was off and on when I was in San Marcos, but when that one ended, I just haven’t been able to game.  Ideally, I’d love to game once a week.  I don’t think I could handle twice or three times a week again, but once a week would be lovely.   21. Have you ever regretted something your character has done?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!  Yes, oh yes.  Let’s see, once one of my elves, Delmara, got involved romantically/sexually with one of the party’s dwarves.  I was actually flirting with the dwarf’s player (and he was flirting back), and we thought it would be funny for them to hook up.  It made for some interesting gameplay and interaction with NPCs.  Later, the dwarf’s player and I had a HUGE falling out as friends, and he moved away, and I continued to play Delmara for a while, and when asked what happened to the dwarf, she explained that he “met with a tragic end.”  The rumors at that point were that the dwarf had been strung up from the wall around the city, missing his nether-bits.  Later, I played a different character in that city, and the Tales of the Dwarf On the Wall continued.  The regret there was hooking a character of mine up to another’s character.  There were many other regrets with other characters along the way, but off the top of my head, that’s the only one that really sticks out.
31. What is your favorite class? Favorite race?
Favorite class is more like classES - Cleric (generally of Trickster gods), Bards, Druids, Urban Druids, and Rangers.  Favorite race used to be Elf, and I think I’d still love playing them, but right now, I’m feeling very drawn toward playing Halflings if I can get back into a game.  I also really enjoyed playing a Tiefling once - he was a druid, and I believe he was neutral good.  Oh he was sexy fun.  All the women in the party wanted to bang him.
