so APPARENTLY me and my bestie have been drinking liquid different ways our entire lives.

I drink liquid out of a glass by putting my bottom lip and tongue on the bottom rim of the glass. The beverage flows over my tongue, then I swallow.

My bestie drinks liquid out of a glass by putting their bottom lip (only) on the bottom rim of the glass. The beverage flows through their bottom teeth, into the bottom of their mouth (under their tongue), then they swallow.

#polls #I feel like I’m going insane lmao #they always say that they prefer room temp water because it hurts their teeth #and I was always like ‘how??’#until TODAY when I learned that the water is actively flowing THROUGH their bottom teeth #and I’m like. yeah ok that probably hurts #I also have dental trauma tho so im vv careful about glass/ceramic/etc not touching my teeth #hence why my tongue is always between my mouth and the cup when I drink #idk!!#yall tell us which one of us is drinking water wrong
