Said no. Set a boundary. Didn't give in. Beating back any sign of guilt with a stick.
#random personal stuff#very sorry but my baking a wedding-esque cake or cupcakes for a party is a terrible idea#I am a notorious cake murderer with a lot of crumbs on my hands#and despite all efforts to reform...any attempt at such a thing would get massacred in the frosting stage#can bake on a small scale but not a skilled pastry chef#...also I literally do not own a cupcake pan#that would have been a good further excuse#I should have used that#not my party. not my problem to solve. no seeking ego boosts by trying to be indispensable and actually getting frazzled instead.
