Summerbolt (manga script) - chapter 5

CHAPTER 5: THE FIRST BATTLE

 We see Hikaru on the cover, laughing and spreading out his arms, half-naked and with two crossed lightning bolts tattooed on his chest, his eyes blazing in electricity while it’s raining heavily around him and thunder bolts are ripping the skies apart.

‘There’s no better time for some charging-up than a lightning storm, don’t you think?! Looks like the ‘summer bolt’ is gonna go wild again!!’

  The six boys from Yuki’s class step closer, getting ready to intervene as the dreadful Ulura also moves closer to the terrified baby doll, screwing her eyes while everyone starts shouting with great expectations.

‘Facing the tyrannical dark queen of ‘Sunbird’, what will Yuki do now? Will she accept Ulura’s challenge?!’

Everyone: ‘-Ulura!!! Ulura!!! Ulura!!! ULURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!’ (the girls from Yuki’s class push some of the other shouting students aside, folding their arms with angry faces)

The girls: ‘-Come on, Yuki!! Show that bitch how it’s done!!!’

Exo: ‘-Suru, don’t you think we should do something right about now?’

Hikaru: ‘-She has to decide what to do on her own. This is just the first of the many obstacles that she’ll have to face from now on. Her first battle.’ (Vega, King and Tokura start roaring madly along with the rest of the girls from the class, rivaling the crowd shouting for Ulura)

Tokura: ‘-Come ooooooooooooooooon, Yuki, baby!!!! Fuck her up!!!!

Vega, King: ‘-GO TO TOWN WITH HER, GIRL!!!!!’ (Seiren stands next to Hikaru with a most destructive angry face)

Seiren: ‘-Damn it! I’m gonna go and tear that bitch apart personally right now!!!’ (Hikaru pulls him back, shocking the pervert)

Hikaru: ‘-No! Stay down. Leave her. (the veins all over Hikaru’s mad face are seen, pulsing with huge amounts of electricity while he’s gritting his teeth, now sharper)

Hikaru: ‘-Trust me, I want to beat her up even more than you but remember that she hasn’t challenged any of us. The one she wants to fight now is Yuki.’ (Seiren looks at Hikaru with great concern)

Seiren: ‘-Hikaru … you … (sighs, looking at the two ladies again) You’re right. We can still support her to our heart’s content, though!!!’ (Hikaru nods, after which Yuki turns to her class, now lead by Hikaru and Seiren, shooting lightning bolts and red fireworks with comical faces)

Hikaru, Seiren: ‘-GO ON, YU!!!! WE’RE WITH YOU!!!! TAKE HER DOWN!!!! YOU CAN DEFINITELY DO IT!!!!’ (Yuki nods at her classmates with a smile, and then looks again at Ulura, suddenly very decisive)

Yuki: ‘-Alright, then! Let’s go to the yard and finish this right now!!!’

After that we see all the students from ‘Sunbird’ gathered in its back yard, stepping back and forming a circle around the two opponents, everyone shouting as loud as they can while Ulura suddenly smiles in a hideous way, disgusting Yuki.

Yuki: ‘-Is something funny?’

Ulura: ‘-Just you, newbie. I thought you’d be trembling in fear by now, knowing who you’re up against. The fact that you agreed to this so easily proves how ignorant you really are.’ (Yuki shrugs with zero emotion)

Yuki: ‘-You may be right but I don’t need much experience to know you’re a bad person.’ (Ulura starts laughing in an even more hideous way)

Ulura: ‘-Well, how right you are there!! I’m the most evil, beautiful and powerful person in this school!! It took me a lot of time and effort to forge my current reputation and I’m sure even a dumb sheep like you can realize how embarrassing it would be for me if I let you beat me in front of everyone!’

Yuki: ‘-You’re even shallower than you look.’ (Ulura’s fists are enveloped in green lasers while her eyes explode in the same element and she’s extremely mad)

Ulura: ‘-I was thinking of going easy on you, kid, but after an insult like that there’s no way I can forgive you!!! I’ll make you regret ever facing me!!!’

Yuki: ‘-Cut the chit-chat then and get to it.’ (Ulura launches to her)

Ulura: ‘-Why you little … !!’

Ulura shoots several lasers at the baby doll, which she easily dodges, jumping ahead and preparing a double kick, dodged by Ulura when her fist creates an explosion of ice blades, reaching her opponent.

A new wave of lasers cuts through the ice, heading for Yuki who dodges them as well, losing a few hairs, making the boys’ six shiver in terror, creating waves of ice blades emerging from the ground with her feet, destroyed by Ulura once again.

After that, she shoots a huge green laser from her mouth, dodged by the baby doll once again, running towards her when the black-haired tyrant starts moving, cutting everything around her with the laser. Suddenly, the ice beauty jumps in the air, spinning and passing beyond the laser, smashing her icy fist in Ulura’s body and crushing her in the building behind her, lots of smoke rising from there.

The laser disappears and the baby doll starts walking to where she’s thrown her opponent and to where everyone else is looking when the ground beneath her feet is destroyed by lots of green lasers, ripping her uniform in many places. As Yuki jumps aside, Ulura also emerges from the ground, having created long, thin and sharp laser claws over her nails, trying to cut Iceflame many times with no success.

One of the times in which the black-haired tyrant misses, the ground nearby is totally destroyed by her claws while Yuki trips her up, jumping over her and trying to prevent her from attacking any more when she explodes in green lasers entirely, throwing the baby doll at the other end of the yard, destroying everything around her.

Hikaru: ‘-Shit!! I didn’t see that coming!!’

Seiren: ‘-Looks like the fuckin’ bitch is not all talk!!’

Tokura: ‘-Guys, look at what’s happening! If we don’t do something now, she’s gonna kill her!!’

King: ‘-If we intervene now, her class will also act and then our girls are gonna get dragged into this as well. There’s gonna be blood on the floor and that’s the last thing we need right now.’ (Vega smiles decisively in that moment)

Vega: ‘-Alright, then! I was waiting for a chance to go all out, either way!!’ (Exo jumps in front of him with a comical scared expression, trembling)

Exo: ‘-NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NOW’S THE TIME TO RUN!!!!’ (Hikaru and Seiren drag him back, more serious than ever)

Seiren: ‘-We’re not going anywhere!! We’re staying with her till the end!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-To see how she’s gonna win!!!’

Vega, King, Tokura: -YEAH!!!!’

Yuki steps beyond the smoke, her uniform totally ripped and her body – having taken certain damage, taking a battle stance and getting ready to fight again when Ulura teleports in front of her, hitting her very fast in the face and crushing her in the ground.

Ulura: ‘-You … who do you think you are?! I … I am … (Yuki tries to get up when she steps on her back, pushing her down, shooting lasers from her foot, piercing the baby doll, looking most dreadfully mad) … the greatest one … (everyone looks in horror as the lasers pierce her) … IN THIS SCHOOL!!!! NO ONE CAN QUESTION MY POWER!!!!!’ (Hikaru and Seiren move forward)

Hikaru: ‘-That’s it! NOW I’M GONNA KILL HER!!!!’

Seiren: ‘-YOU’VE CROSSED THE LINE NOW, BITCH!!!’ (the rest of the boys start pulling the two back and restraining them)

Exo: ‘-At least try to think clearly for a minute!!’

Tokura: ‘-If you jump in there now, our whole class is gonna go to hell!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-I don’t care!!! She’s going to kill her!!!’ (he explodes in lightning bolts, escaping from his classmates and charging forward when he hears a noise)

Yuki: ‘-Don’t … (Ulura moves away from her while she tries to get up with heavy breathing and holding her stomach with one hand) … don’t interfere. (Hikaru stops and his bolts disappear while Ulura looks at her opponent in shock) I … I can handle this!!!’ (Ulura starts laughing hideously once again making many others laugh amongst the crowd)

Ulura: ‘-Did you guys hear that?! She can handle this!!!! Ha-ha-ha-ha!!! What a joke!! Don’t be ridiculous!! What can a weakling like you do right now?!’ (prepares her laser kick, stopped by Yuki’s frozen palm, half of her face covered in shadow)

Yuki: ‘-I can fight … for my friends. (Ulura is even more shocked, hearing this and then she sees Yuki’s most decisive and destructive look) AND I WILL!! I’M DEFINITELY GOING TO TAKE YOU DOWN!!!!’ (pushes Ulura back, getting up while her opponent becomes mad once again)

Ulura: ‘-You’ll never learn, will you?! Looks like I’ll have to destroy you completely to show you how pathetic you are!!! Come at me then, dolly!!!’ (Yuki smiles decisively, taking a battle stance once again)

Yuki: ‘-Better get ready, hag!!!’ (they run to one another, enveloping their fist in their elements, preparing to clash)

‘The battle’s just starting and neither of them doesn’t seem like they’re gonna back down!! Where will their destructive match lead to in the end?!’
