i’ve been acting delulu about the whole wen+vin fight that we all knew was coming up, kinda like completely ignoring it was a thing and all your warnings bc im #notemotionallystrong and i liked pretending it wasn’t gonna happen to cope <3333 BUT AHHHHH after this last fic IM LITERALLY FULL ON SOBBING (IN PUBLIC) WHAT THE FUCKKKK SOUP😭😭😭 you’re so mean (lovingly) 😩 FR IM SO SAD I LOVE MY BABIES SO MUCH THIS IS AWFUL BUT ALSO THE FIGHT WAS SO WELL WRITTEN😭 AND LIKE SO UPSETTING AND UNCOMFY BC OF HOW REAL IT FELT idk how to explain it but it’s like hearing my parents (aka my best friends who’ve been together forever LOL) fight LMAO sobbing 😩😩😩 and also OMG I AUDIBLY GASPED AND HAD TO LOOK AWAY WHEN I READ THE PHONE NOTIFICATIONS THING AND REALISED IT WAS LEO’S TEXT like if there was a terrible way to find out it was THIS 😭😭😭😭😭 BABY GIRL THINKING EVERYONE HAS KNOWN FOR MONTHS???? OMG AND ALSO THE OTHER FICS? i hadn’t commented on them bc i was waiting for this one to react to everything but GODDAMN????? LUKE POOR BUB all feverish spilling everything??? and their reactions🥺🥺🥺🥺 (also side note jon so worried about luke was beautiful and i enjoyed it very much🤭) and OMG leo’s guilt about not noticing the depression symptoms 😩 and the whole thing w bella and kit GOSH I WANT TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE HES SUCH AN ASSHOLE‼️

ANSWERING THIS SO LATE THAT VIN/WENDY ARE BACK TOGETHER I'M SORRYYYY

I'm actually cackling at you acting delulu because I remember I dropped many MANY hints of the Wendy/Vince break up and you were in my inbox completely ignoring them and me thinking "damn, am i being too subtle???"

Its so funny (and terrible) to be answering this late, because I can totally say the things I was nervous about. So ORIGINALLY Vin/Wendy didnt get back together, they actually broke it off for good and Wendy feeling very isolated from her friend group relapsed in her eating disorder.

But then Wendy kinda girl bossed her way into getting back with Vince, which was not planned, AND opened up to Bella, that was also not planned at all. So I scrapped that storyline! I still want to do something with her E.D, I remember I got an ask ages ago that was something like "Wendy refuses to eat because she's feeling queasy, Vince thinks she relapsed and tries to push her, only to have it come back up and he realizes she's actually sick", so I'll probably write that! A more mild version of what I originally had in mind!

And I'm SORRY i'm a terrible person but I'm sooo proud of myself for making you cry in public. I need a blog badge just for that #angster

I've seen your recent anons and replies. Mistakes can happen, I agree. However, some of them could have been easily avoided if the Duffers kept track or notes. I don't want to beat the dead horse, but them mixing up Billy/William on the gravestone and forgetting Will's birthday is a pretty lazy and serious error. Billy & Will are not my favourites, but I like them in the narrative and I care about the whole puzzle. So I expect good writing on all characters, even the ones I don't care much about. They are still important pieces and messing up such details however tiny they might seem makes me lose faith in them as writers. I like so many other made the biggest assumptions and theories based on these 2 details. Billy/William is in a short trailer for God's sake! And Will's birthday was mentioned by Joyce in a pivotal scene to try and save Will. During El's bullying scene they chose to show that date exactly on the camera recorder screen. It's normal everyone made theories. So when it turns out those were just mistakes oh oopsie, it feels like a slap in the face. I was so worried, too, because I couldn't believe Joyce or Jonathan would ever forget Will's birthday.

Sorry for prolonging but this is careless for me. I may have closed and eye or two on other things, but this is too much. I lost faith on the writers and am scared for season 5.

Also certain writing choices annoy me, and I haven't even talked about Mike's senseless monologue yet.

don't get me wrong, i think everyone is entitled or allowed to be critical of the writing the duffer brothers put out. and i do understand why messing up / forgetting details can be frustrating to fans, myself included at times. and furthermore, i understand why that creates anxiety for s5. people care about this show very much, that is pretty obvious, so i get why it's an issue. and the duffer brothers should also realize that just because the show got so big doesn't mean they shouldn't still try their best.

but i guess at the end of the day it's a question of whether or not as an individual you can still enjoy the show while knowing all of this.

i'll be honest, because of some of the mistakes + choices made this season that i do not particularly agree with, i also have my fears for s5, and my expectations are a bit lower, but there are still a lot of things i love about it and i'm curious to see where it goes.

i'm gonna be honest about one thing regarding mike wheeler's storyline with eleven this season (tho i do wanna say to anyone reading this that while i'll reblog a post or two which kind of makes fun of mike, this is not anti mike blog so do not come in my inbox with negativity like that because i will not reply to you): i do not think they should have waited till s4 to deal with a "mike can't tell el he loves her due to not being able to express himself because he didn't really have the best of models in his life"

i feel like by season 4, this should have been dealt with. like i think it's sweet that mike was there for her and encouraged her to fight when she needed the confidence, but i also feel like eleven seeing max like that should have been enough.

idk i'm also trying not to nitpick. clearly i wasn't a fan of the way they handled both mileven and byler this season and i thought we'd find mike in a better place than the "it's not my fault you don't like girls" thing he had with will last season because i'm still clueless as to why he made that hug weird in episode 1 but who knows, maybe they're foreshadowing something in s5. or maybe their intention with that scene didn't translate well enough to people in the audience like me.

from what we gather later, they didn't talk that much the past year with mike mostly talking to eleven, but i still don't see that as a reason for mike to make that hug awkward.

anyway bottom line is i get those things can be frustrating, but at the same time there's not really much to do when you're in the audience

It was only a matter of time before the Lady Dimitrescu fans would show up in my inbox. And I'm not mad at it. I am a fellow fan of the Resident Evil games so hello friend! Now my opinions on RE8 I'll keep to myself. But Lady D certainly reawakened a lot of people's interest in vampires. I have written for you some lovely headcanons, do enjoy.

This also veered off into some of my personal worldbuilding headcanons, so... win win?

𝐀𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰.

While The Volturi was the governing body and the rulers of vampires, they could not be everywhere at all times. Growing their coven to an obscene amount was a disaster waiting to happen, so instead they let carefully selected covens grow to a larger scale that would make sure their laws would be enforced.

A coven had been growing in Eastern Europe, setting up their own permanent residence. They had first worried that the Romanians were once again entertaining dreams of grandeur. Demetri easily disproved this theory however, for what remained of the great Romanian dynasty was currently tracking across Siberia. The three kings sent out a messenger, with them they carried an invitation to appear before them in court.

Luckily they seemed to be friendly, the covens so called mistress and leader writing back to the kings that she would gladly bring her coven to see them. Their interests aligned, and she had no intentions to break the law.

Once they knew the coven was on the move, something peculiar happened. Marcus who had sat quietly for the last hundres of years, seemed to perk up in minuscule ways. His attention seemed more focused, a clear interest in the trials that happened before him. He could feel a flicker of warmth in his chest, one he had not felt since her. Aro & Caius grew weary, but decided against confronting their brother. If he was reemerging from that darkness he had incased himself in, they would not argue.

The covens arrival happened with little fanfare, the group of 7 vampires were naturally on edge. All except their leader who gracefully entered the throne room with her head held high.

When Marcus' eyes met the leaders he felt like the floor was about to fall out beneath him. That distinct pull of a potential mate bond making him almost feel sick to the stomach. He had never quite been prepared for this, even though he knew the possibility of him finding another wasn't far fetched.

Marcus' potential mate is quite overwhelmed, having waited 150 years to experience the so called mate-pull herself. And to feel the connection to one of her kinds kings... unbelievable. It doesn't take long before vampires on both sides understand what has occurred.

The throne room is suddenly in an uproar, the visiting coven wanting to jump in to protect their leader. The guard ever alert and prepared to unleash mayhem as Marcus is very close to an unfamiliar vampire. Even Caius is up and out of his throne, prepared to step in if necessary. Aro is dumbfounded as he watches with curious attention when Marcus lifts a hand to place it against this coven leaders cheek, smoothing it over with his thumb.

True realization would dawn on this potential mate's face, a myriad of emotions flashing through their red orbs.

This had not been ideal, but Marcus would make the best of this situation. The conversations they would need to have was for their ears alone, he would turn his attention back to his brother that was still seated.

"Brother..." "I think it is best if we get a moment, alone." "Of course... do what you must."

The leader would reassure her companions and let Marcus guide her out into the garden, leaving the two covens still as statues in their wake. Aro could smooth things over, thought Marcus.

They would talk for hours, sharing whatever they were comfortable with. When the stars appeared in the sky had they finally ran out of words that needed to be spoken. Marcus and this curious individual would take it slow. They had to.

It wouldn't be an easy courtship, Marcus' mate had no intention to move all the way to Volterra with the entirety of her coven. The budding mates would have to stay apart for the foreseeable future. A deal was struck that she would grow her covens power and influence in her home region, before choosing a successor. This would ensure The Volturi would have another powerful ally in Europe. Afterwards she would be free to return to Marcus in Volterra.

Their time apart was spent writing letters to one another, as well as gifts being sent. Despite the physical distance their bond would strengthen, neither of their hearts heavy as they had been before.
