can we talk about the delivery of "you drool in your sleep" for a second?? can we talk about how it went from an observation that felt like a dig to one that just revealed how much annabeth has been paying attention?? like this girl is taking note of every tiny detail. and maybe that happened to be the most recent, so that was the one that came to her mind. maybe she had noticed how he sleeps on his back, which implies xyz. maybe she had heard him muttering in his sleep. etc. etc. etc. but drooling.. leah delivers it like she's turning the fact around in her head. like let's see if this fits somewhere. let's see if this says something about who i think he might be. or who i want him to be. about what his presence means for the the camp's future. for my future.

PJO SPOILERS!!!

Am I the only one who thinks some people are being a little harsh on Grover for "snitching" on Percy in Episode 1? I see some people saying Grover's character has been "ruined" by having him "betray" Percy and I'm just over here thinking that gaslighting your best friend for literal MONTHS on end is just as much, if not a worse betrayal then snitching on said friend in order to get them out of the danger zone immediately. Either way you look at it, Grover betrayed Percy in both versions, and honestly I think Grover's snitching was the kinder route to take; at least Percy wasn't questioning his own sanity for months, but a few hours.

And another thing too is that I'm kind of glad their friendship seems a little tense right now in the show, since I felt like in the book, Percy just sort of brushes off being literally lied to and gaslit by Grover for months. Don't get me wrong, I adore their friendship so much but it always kind of bothered me that they never really TALKED about the gaslighting period and how alone that made Percy feel to have even his best friend say everything that happened was all in his head. I don't know, I always just wanted there to be a scene where they actually talked about it and reconcile. So I'm hoping that since the show seems to be putting tension between Percy and Grover right now, that we'll hopefully get a moment of closure and reconciliation between them.

ok now that i feel slightly more like a person again i gotta talk about how INSANE it is to me that b/en s/chwartz is going to voice shapesmith!!!!! incidentally he also voices another of my f/os but he doesn't actually really speak in that role, so i've started watching a few other things he's in + interviews n stuff like that to get a better idea of what he sounds like, and long story short i came to really really like his voice and enjoy listening to him a lot (to the point where i watched part of one of those tumblr celebrity special things he was in which is something i normally have zero interest in).....i had a short list of voice actors that i think would have been a good fit for shapesmith and for some reason my brain never ended up making the connection between him and ben, but i think he's SUCH a good fit and will do an amazing job!!! the fact that they chose him out of all people him feels like they're catering specifically to meee like i genuinely gasped when i heard his line in the trailer and i've been so giddy about it all weekend (and still am) aauqgwhwhd ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

sorry I literally had my phone down eyes closed ready to at least try to sleep but I remembered something that happened yesterday that still boils my blood and I need to talk about it. my sister seriously has the audacity to be constantly seethingly jealous and bitter of me and my brother's good relationship and then will not even treat him like a human being it's just fucking baffling. we were at a restaurant and me and him were having a conversation about tv and then she puts her phone up right in front of his face to show our dad her instagram, completely blocking us from being able to talk and see each other. and the whole time she's going wow look at this photo look at this look how silly I look in this one! and my brother COMPLETELY REASONABLY. because the back of the phone is right in his face and he's hearing about how great these photos are. asks my sister is he can see them. and then she told him off for it! can you kill yourself!

so i've been watching hunter x hunter basically along with media club plus, but i went a bit ahead last week and ended up (i thought) finishing the final phase of the hunter exam. after which i was like, oh my god, this is too much, i'm stopping.

anyway i just decided to watch the one (1) next episode, which was 21, "some brother trouble", and hey what the fuck i love this fucking show
